As long as they can shoot stuff after a hard day it’s fine with them, can’t really blame em, all you can do is hope that next year, Rockstar drops GTA 6 at the same time as cod and shits on Activison’s potential profits.
@@DsgSleazythat’s exactly it. Not every gamer knows every piece of gaming news or history surrounding a game. A lot of people are very casual. I feel like they doubled the size of the maps, they feel too big imo with the added verticality, it seems like people can spawn anywhere so enemies can be in front, to the side, or behind you at all times. I miss the 3 lane maps
The MP looks fun, but i played these maps literally thousands of times a decade ago. I also love DMZ but man the zombies mode is a mere shell of that. I'd genuinely think about buying it for 30 usd, but 70 is kust insane. Thanks for such an honest and detailed review.
Same. I think dmz zombies will get better during time but I’m not shelling out $70 for revamped, rehashed content imo. The Warzone 3 download updates are ridiculous.
First off thank you. I am happy that with as big of a following as you guys have, you guys are still consistently 100% honest with your opinions; Unlike so many sell out content creators just straight lying to either themselves or their viewers about CoD either praising it for fixing the issues they created, or finally listening to the fans especially in regards to dead silence which I'm sure most people from 2019s CoD hated. Even worse still the content creators who get invites and special packages from CoD who are seaming always sticking up for CoD are starting to say less in order not to state what you guys did at the end. It is effectively a DLC and is an inconvenience for those who are deciding that this is unacceptable from Activision to not only go back on their word on a 2 year cycle but to charge from $70 -$100 for some new guns remastered maps and to come later "new maps" that are maps reused from larger maps from different modes. Don't get me wrong it does take some time and effort to make those but it's not that much work, I have both a friend and some family who create games and can attest to that. Is there some value here, yes but at most $40 worth and hope most can see that. If anyone has read this far, sorry for ranting so much but I really just wanted to put this out there because it is not okay, and the more companies like Activision get away with things this the worse gaming as a whole could get
@tom2d285 what they said is that they were breaking the annual release cycle they have been doing, I guess they technically didn't explicitly say that they wouldn't release a new "game" but anybody with any sense rational would logically be lead to believe that mw2 and the CoD games to follow would have at least a 2 year cycle but suuuurrreee I guess they didn't say that, although they heavily implied it to avoid legal issues
lol it's been "essentially the same game" a hell of a lot longer than that. It's been the same game since 2003. Even Call of Duty 1, the original, was itself a rip-off/clone of Medal of Honor.
The Laziest Game to ever hit the market. They used DMZ twice and reskinned it for both the Zombies and their "Campaign". Have to give it to Activision a real slap to the face to scatter a bunch of COD characters in a what feels like a fan made DMZ Project with a couple of Cutscenes and still be able to call it a "New Title" what makes it especially heart breaking is this all comes on the 20th Anniversary. I mean as a DLC I would have bought it (maybe), but wont buy this at all and just wait next Warzone.
I was thinking that War sounded familiar, it was a thing from WW2, only one i really remember having fun with was the DLC secret nazi bunker with the special abilities and weapons from zombies (i mostly play Zombies with COD)
Makes a lot of sense sine Sledgehammer also made WW2 (and regrettably Vanguard but we don’t talk about that). Anyways when they add more maps I can confirm this will be on of my most played modes
@@airspoon6 The very first objective is just to capture 2 points, this takes place kn the MW2019 map ‘Khandor Hideout’ After that you need to escort a tank through the classic COD4 map ‘Crossfire’ from one end to another. At the end a gate opens into the map ‘Countdown’ from cod4, but you don’t really play there. Instead, you jump down the ‘’tubes’’ (Im not english) which extends into the interior of ‘No Fighting In The War Room’ the final story mission of COD4
For me it’s whenever someone is playing as ghost and walks behind me and says “got your back”. Also ghosts “done and dusted” that I can mimic very well but I know exactly what quote your on about, it’s that iconic
Gotta be honest the first couple games of zombies weren't that good but once I got the flow of the missions and exfilling with the loot and finding blueprints for stuff and making it slightly farther inward each time while upgrading my operator I actually was having tons of fun. *Friends definitely required
Completely agree. I haven’t played with friends yet but I love queuing with randoms and doing contracts together, getting acquisitions is so rewarding considering they are permanent. I’ve got speed cola and brain rot crafts every 3 hours and the gear you bring back really changes your next game. 👍🏻
Dawg, if people still buy 2k, which is, imo, 100x worse than cod with the laziness of their games, what makes you think they’ll stop buying cod? I mean, this is probably the first cod that could’ve 100% been dlc, but 2k has been making games that are overpriced updates for YEARS. Same with Madden and fifa, all garbage glorified updates that are still top sellers every years along with cod.
@@DsgSleazybecause unlike Call of Shitty, those games have monopolized the licensing so they’re the only one’s who can make the top tier sports games. As someone who skipped these games for years (stopped after mw2 original and black ops 2) I never dealt with the fast paced games. This game feels great
Tbh, I'm thoroughly enjoying the zombies mode. It's much better than mw2 zombies for sure. It's better when you squad up with like 6 people. Grinding for the mastery camos isn't as bad either.
Gotta say Falcon, i agree with all your points except the zombies mode. Lovin the changes to zombies and the open map type of play. can play casual, can roll solo, or can drop in a squad and push into the high danger area where shit quickly gets real.
Zombies slowly grew on me. First 2 or 3 turns. It was a bit confusing. Now that I understand it. It's alot easier and funnier. Getting to zone 3 isn't that hard. Even solo and it's really fun. Haven't played a game like this in a while. Talking COD Zombies not anything else.
I personally only like the zombies mode from the new “DLC”, but I agree with everything you said. I imagine zombies will quickly get boring for me and then I’ll just go back to Warzone. Multiplayer is a miss for me.
It's the game-play, not the spawns that are the problem. If you have a dozen or so players running around like a bunch of headless chickens you cannot foresee where they will go next, and hence, where you put those damn spawn points down.
This. The game is like purposefully created for people that can not think about anything other than running all over the place and this creates the problem of spawn points. If they opted for more traditional gameplay with more downtime between shootouts this problem would not exist
At this point I don't even feel bad for the people paying for this year after year. Like you KNOW what you're getting and you know that it's the same shit.
This is definitely a pass for me. I've played the maps a lot when they originally came out. I'm not about to pay $70 for something I've played at nauseam already. Maybe I'd pull the trigger at $30-40.
I think the new zombies is actually pretty good. I would like a round based mode still like classic zombies. But the casual DMZ mode is a really nice break from how try hard every other mode in cod is these days.
Yeah, it feels even better when your in third person for me because you get better immersion, and honestly an open world-ish map with third person and zombies is perfect for me
Amazing video gameranx of multiplayer in call of duty modern warfare 3,fantastic job. I stop playing call of duty after call of duty world war 2 never looked back after that.
Why not? My first cod game was MW2 remastered/remake. I really enjoyed the 24/7 shipment. I'm thinking about getting MW3 and reliving that experience. I get that the campaign sucks but is the multiplayer and zombies that bad?
I am enjoying The DMZ (PVE ONLY!) Zombies mode, could do with some more dynamic stuff but the real issue is the servers crashing so much... you lose all your stuff which is annoying AF (my first zombies since Blackops)
When I was a kid in 2009 I played the latest COD maps like Quarry, Estate, Scrapyard, and Rust, now as an adult in 2023 I play the latest COD maps like Quarry, Estate, Scrapyard, and Rust….
Like the honest review, no b.s. I was waiting for decent zombie mode since Cold War Outbreak, but I don't want to pay $70 for one zombie map! Agree that should be $30 and not a cent more since THIS IS MWII!!! All maps from og MW2.
zombies is different but equally good to round based imho, anyone who has rose tinted glasses can go back to doing the same circle thousands of times in the other games
As someone who hasn’t gotten past level 50 since MW19 i have to say this game is fun!! ESPECIALLY WAR. Ive been playing it nonstop. But thats about it. Regular dom and TDM is fun now but nothing to write home about. FFA is still trash even with the Remastered maps. But the guns feel amazing, movement is great and the perks actually matter in this game. The Create a class is good and its fun to mix and match stuff. Camo challenges are good, no long-shots or mounting so far. Should you buy it now? No, the games still has many annoying bugs, Campaign is basically war zone with some story and Zombies is absolute trash. Played it for 10 minutes and haven’t touched it since. Theres no point to it. Its Warzone with Bots. I would wait for a sale because the MP is really the only this thats worth it.
My alternate universe issue is that no one seems to remember that all of this content was promised to us day one because modern warfare two was supposed to have a two-year lifecycle. It feels like DLC because it 100% is DLC.
This channel is the biggest money saver! Reviewing most important aspects of games by not humiliating any of them (Except MW3 because what else can you do?) As long as they can shoot stuff after a hard day it’s fine with them, can’t really blame em, all you can do is hope that next year, Rockstar drops GTA 6 at the same time as cod and shits on Activison’s potential profits.
@@DsgSleazythat’s exactly it. Not every gamer knows every piece of gaming news or history surrounding a game. A lot of people are very casual. They recognize the name, enjoy the game for what it is (especially if they’re somewhat new to the series) and they don’t care about the drama surrounding it. I think it’s shitty that those that enjoy it are getting hate from others online. Is the publisher scummy? Yea but that doesn’t mean others should shit on people’s enjoyment of the game.
"cash grab" isn't the point of any product to make money though? 🤔
There are people who literally only play CoD... It's their business but I wouldn't exactly call them gamers.
I feel like they doubled the size of the maps, they feel too big imo with the added verticality, it seems like people can spawn anywhere so enemies can be in front, to the side, or behind you at all times. I miss the 3 lane maps
Search and Destroy still feels amazing on these maps. Once I unlock everything, that's all that matters to me.
This is one of those times I actually use this “before I buy”……
The MP looks fun, but i played these maps literally thousands of times a decade ago. I also love DMZ but man the zombies mode is a mere shell of that.
I'd genuinely think about buying it for 30 usd, but 70 is kust insane.
Thanks for such an honest and detailed review.
Same here, definitely should be priced at 30-40$
Same. I think dmz zombies will get better during time but I’m not shelling out $70 for revamped, rehashed content imo. The Warzone 3 download updates are ridiculous.
I think cod should start selling zombies and multiplayer separately imo. Keep warzone free.
Man were you lucky living in that era, times changed for the worst… especially modern gaming.
DMZ was a lot better they just left it behind because of zombies
Thanks for the coverage as always team 🙏🏿👊🏿
🤝
I like how all his gameplay his flash bangs hit the wall right in front of him. Glad I’m not the only one. Subtle comedy.
Love you guys, but in order to show off the game correctly, please slide the FOV to at least 90 and disable motion blur
If anyone has read this far, sorry for ranting so much but I really just wanted to put this out there because it is not okay, and the more companies like Activision get away with things this the worse gaming as a whole could get
They never said mw2 would have a 2 year life cycle.. that was a rumor
"What is essentially the same game" EXACTLY WHAT IV BEEN SAYING FOR A DECADE. Thank you. Been sick of cod since Bo4
lol it's been "essentially the same game" a hell of a lot longer than that. It's been the same game since 2003. Even Call of Duty 1, the original, was itself a rip-off/clone of Medal of Honor.
This should be a "dont buy" instead of a "before you buy"
Facts
The Laziest Game to ever hit the market. They used DMZ twice and reskinned it for both the Zombies and their "Campaign". Have to give it to Activision a real slap to the face to scatter a bunch of COD characters in a what feels like a fan made DMZ Project with a couple of Cutscenes and still be able to call it a "New Title" what makes it especially heart breaking is this all comes on the 20th Anniversary. I mean as a DLC I would have bought it (maybe), but wont buy this at all and just wait next Warzone.
6:32 your flash bang bounce back ....
I was thinking that War sounded familiar, it was a thing from WW2, only one i really remember having fun with was the DLC secret nazi bunker with the special abilities and weapons from zombies (i mostly play Zombies with COD)
This game is basically a rip off Cold War, WW2 and Modern warfare 2019 😂
It was actually from call of duty world at war
Makes a lot of sense sine Sledgehammer also made WW2 (and regrettably Vanguard but we don’t talk about that). Anyways when they add more maps I can confirm this will be on of my most played modes
@@wubuskydid world at war have war mode? I dont remember. I know ww2 had it.
@@alex141516 I think they might have, but it was trash
The Finals have become my new Call of Duty, and I'm experiencing withdrawal symptoms ever since the beta closed. I can't wait for the official release
Yes!
👍🏼
I’m sad you didn’t mention the war mode map is a mashup between multiple cod4 maps. I thought that was pretty cool as an oldskool fan
Which maps were all combined? I only played the war mode once so maybe I didn’t get to fully see it yet but I’d be curious to know
@@airspoon6 The very first objective is just to capture 2 points, this takes place kn the MW2019 map ‘Khandor Hideout’ After that you need to escort a tank through the classic COD4 map ‘Crossfire’ from one end to another. At the end a gate opens into the map ‘Countdown’ from cod4, but you don’t really play there. Instead, you jump down the ‘’tubes’’ (Im not english) which extends into the interior of ‘No Fighting In The War Room’ the final story mission of COD4
The "took a round!" voice line the ranger yells out when he gets hit has somehow become iconic with the mw series for me.
For me it’s whenever someone is playing as ghost and walks behind me and says “got your back”. Also ghosts “done and dusted” that I can mimic very well but I know exactly what quote your on about, it’s that iconic
Best thing this CoD is that because of the high TTK, alot of people are playing Hardcore and its awesome. Never seen so many in my main game mode.
👍🏼
I got mw2 (new) with the hopes they would have the mw2 (old) maps. Now they are saying I have to buy mw3 (new) for the mw2 (old) maps.
Keep it.
This may be out of subject but I really wish someone would remaster Simpsons Hit and Run!!!
Another day another great video keep it up guys! Happy holidays!!
Thanks! You too!
I love falcons comedy shows his sarcasm is what makes me coming back
Honestly, your tone of voice throughout this review said everything that needed to be said.
Gotta be honest the first couple games of zombies weren't that good but once I got the flow of the missions and exfilling with the loot and finding blueprints for stuff and making it slightly farther inward each time while upgrading my operator I actually was having tons of fun. *Friends definitely required
🗑️🚮
@@ogkommrad1228 it’s opinionated mate shush
Completely agree. I haven’t played with friends yet but I love queuing with randoms and doing contracts together, getting acquisitions is so rewarding considering they are permanent. I’ve got speed cola and brain rot crafts every 3 hours and the gear you bring back really changes your next game. 👍🏻
If gamers stop buying cod for awhile, then maybe they can make it great
Dawg, if people still buy 2k, which is, imo, 100x worse than cod with the laziness of their games, what makes you think they’ll stop buying cod? I mean, this is probably the first cod that could’ve 100% been dlc, but 2k has been making games that are overpriced updates for YEARS. Same with Madden and fifa, all garbage glorified updates that are still top sellers every years along with cod.
@@DsgSleazybecause unlike Call of Shitty, those games have monopolized the licensing so they’re the only one’s who can make the top tier sports games. That’s why they’re making them as horrible as possible now with as much predatory marketing as possible, because they know people have nowhere else to turn
Having the COD itch rn but not going to shell out $70 for this
Thank You guys for always being honest. 🙏🏽 not buying til sbmm is gone
As someone who skipped these games for years (stopped after mw2 original and black ops 2)
I never dealt with the fast paced games.
This game feels great
Hello, Falcon!!
Hey
Tbh, I'm thoroughly enjoying the zombies mode. It's much better than mw2 zombies for sure. It's better when you squad up with like 6 people. Grinding for the mastery camos isn't as bad either.
MW2 doesn’t have zombies
@@mikesmith145 I didn't mean mw2,I meant vangarbage. It's much better than that zombies for sure
It should have some pvp
Gotta say Falcon, i agree with all your points except the zombies mode. Lovin the changes to zombies and the open map type of play. can play casual, can roll solo, or can drop in a squad and push into the high danger area where shit quickly gets real.
5:37 The fact that you got scared and reacted to only add it to the entire review is great!!😂
Bro it’s still very good, the graphics are just crazy
Zombies slowly grew on me. First 2 or 3 turns. It was a bit confusing. Now that I understand it. It's alot easier and funnier. Getting to zone 3 isn't that hard. Even solo and it's really fun. Haven't played a game like this in a while. Talking COD Zombies not anything else.
So they forced a DLC into a standalone game
Thanks for saving me $70. So sad to see Cod be so trashy now :/
I personally only like the zombies mode from the new “DLC”, but I agree with everything you said. I imagine zombies will quickly get boring for me and then I’ll just go back to Warzone. Multiplayer is a miss for me.
All I know is 4:05 was a fucking PLAY.
Masterclass.
Thank you ! As always, very informative and right to the point. Jake (and the team) never disappoint. Keep up the good work 💪😎
Was looking forward to it, especially zombies. Now I've seen people play it is going to be a hard pass for me
👍🏼
It's the game-play, not the spawns that are the problem. If you have a dozen or so players running around like a bunch of headless chickens you cannot foresee where they will go next, and hence, where you put those damn spawn points down.
This. The game is like purposefully created for people that can not think about anything other than running all over the place and this creates the problem of spawn points.
If they opted for more traditional gameplay with more downtime between shootouts this problem would not exist
Loving the new passive aggressive vibe, Gameranks!
*$20. They added 2 OG Maps in Mw2 to then put OG Mw2 maps in mw3. They’re trolling, I’ll be passing
I think the new zombies is actually pretty good. I would like a round based mode still like classic zombies. But the casual DMZ mode is a really nice break from how try hard every other mode in cod is these days.
Yeah, it feels even better when your in third person for me because you get better immersion, and honestly an open world-ish map with third person and zombies is perfect for me
This is officially the worst COD ever.
No it’s not lol
Not even close, it’s not bad at all just shouldn’t be $70
Game just came out lmaooooo
This is literally contender for top 2 modern CoD
Speak for yourself you casual clown 🤣🤣🤣
Ngl never liked the implementation of slide canceling in the first place and thought it was a cheap gimmick
Amazing video gameranx of multiplayer in call of duty modern warfare 3,fantastic job. I stop playing call of duty after call of duty world war 2 never looked back after that.
Please don’t buy it and support them
Why not? My first cod game was MW2 remastered/remake. I really enjoyed the 24/7 shipment. I'm thinking about getting MW3 and reliving that experience. I get that the campaign sucks but is the multiplayer and zombies that bad?
The sliding absolutely kills all the fun of this game!!!
It's fun, I just wish the TTK was higher. I feel like the 2019 one is perfect. I actually went back to play it now and it still plays amazing.
I feels like they were bored making this review. I dont blame them, I instantly requester a refund and I got it. Division 3 is coming out yay!
Like the honest review, no b.s. I was waiting for decent zombie mode since Cold War Outbreak, but I don't want to pay $70 for one zombie map! Agree that should be $30 and not a cent more since THIS IS MWII!!! All maps from og MW2.
Zombie Chronicles has a huge mod community behind it. I suggest getting it on steam if you have a PC.
AR stands for Armalite, NOT auto rifle. Thanks.
zombies is different but equally good to round based imho, anyone who has rose tinted glasses can go back to doing the same circle thousands of times in the other games
I’ve never heard Falcon so sarcastic and pissed😂 I appreciate your guys reviews!
1st time ever actually watching a before you buy n not allready having the game 😂
Watching ActMan playing it right now…. He’s clowning it, but he’s giving it a fair shot.
I love how you can tell in his voice how many call of duty games he's played and reviewed. Why do we keep buying these games?!?!
Playing this [at no incremental cost to myself] on gamepass.. it is fun. And wow so many maps now but i guess that's from it sortof being 2 games
Watching the multiplayer gameplay reminds me of COD ghosts, idk why. Maybe it’s the sound. Do miss cod ghosts
Vote with your wallet all, supporting this will continue to make it the norm.
My alternate universe issue is that no one seems to remember that all of this content was promised to us day one because modern warfare two was supposed to have a two-year lifecycle. It feels like DLC because it 100% is DLC.
This gameplay is ridiculously clear and sharp , what setting are you playing with on pc ?
I personally miss the melee knife mechanic of the original MW games. It was so satisfying
This dude gets protected by SBMM, 1000%!
It feels like a classic mw2 remake to me and I love it for that reason
This channel is the biggest money saver! Reviewing most important aspects of games by not humiliating any of them (Except MW3 because what else can you do?)
I, personally bought MW2 for campaign because MW1 looked promising and has a great campaign.
This one? The reviews are so bad that I went and watched walkthrough in youtube.
Never buying this game (if it'll have discount then maybe but I think this is 15-20$ MW2 DLC max)
The mantling is amazing feeling!
