Broadblue Rapier 550 in the Solent

Here’s a short video of the Broadblue Rapier 550 catamaran, shot on a trip from Chichester Harbour to Lymington. Tide against all the way, but we had 15 knots of breeze and an average speed of 8 knots. Lovely weather and easy to handle with just two aboard, although we had three on this trip. Great sail in the sunshine.

Still loving the lines of this vessel and design principles the only thing i might consider adding is a shortcut straight out onto the front deck and solar blinds to control heat build up. Perhapse more area for
Solar power.
