I have watched a number of hip stretch videos and appreciate that you have quite a few unique ways of doing it which makes watching your videos enjoyable because of the variety. Well done
Love this so much, deep but comfortable stretches through the hips and low back, and with a soothing tone and pace that also makes it wonderfully relaxing 😌
I love this sequence and its fitting for short a practise during the summer heat in Abq. NM. Thanks Uliana for always inventing new ways to keep my hips and lower back healthy. Namaste and all best wishes.
Thanks Uliana for today’s practice, which serendipitously (a word i love, which comes from… the island i’m currently traveling in) appeared on my youtube suggestions this morning, after an extenssive hiking day yesterday. Still no matt… but i layered a few towels on the floor :-) Namaste.
That's one of the reasons I love yoga - it's so adaptable, even without a mat, you can still practice in some way)) By the way, all "no mat" videos (with standing, seated, reclined poses) are organized in this playlist if you haven't tried all of them yet :D ua-cam.com/video/lsw39ao17h0/v-deo.html
@@yogawithuliana Thank you so much, Uliana! I’ll check it out and add it to my playlist. It is very generous and kind of you to share and i appreciate it!
I came back to this practise this AM and my back/hops said WOW,THANK YOU FOR LISTENING TO US. And, thank you Uliana for sharing your expertise in yoga and asanas that help create space in these tight areas. Namaste.
Repeated this one today. All but one of the positions pose no challenge, but my happy-baby and half happy-baby… arent’t so happy. Combination of shorter arms and limited leg flexibility make this pose very awkward, where i either have to hold the inside of the foot or my arms end up between my legs, rather than out. Which compromise you recommend for better stretch (i dont mind a bit of pain)?
Hi Jacob, holding on the inside of the foot is actually one of the variations in happy baby, not as popular as holding outside of the foot or big toes, but works well for some people). A good option for Half Happy Baby - use a yoga strap(or something similar) around the foot, hold the strap with your hand and gently pull it down, bringing the knee closer to the floor. You could try the same in full Happy Baby pose with two straps or just one strap around two feet. Depending on where you feel the stretch in Happy Baby and where do you think you need more flexibility, there are other poses that could give you a similar stretch but feel more comfortable. Try to google "yoga squat with the wall"/Wall Squat Pose/Wall Malasana. Or "Child's pose on the back". Hope this helps! :)
Uliana. This is my first time. Feels good. Thanks. Keep up the good work 👍🏾
Loves that Uliana thanks you ❤
This was such a nice practice for this morning. I was feeling very angry and low, and this alleviated everything a little bit. Thank you
