got mine in February and I’ve been addicted since. Definitely got me back into gaming. I think my fav feature is the ability to download games from my app to the console. I also like Remote Play (to an extent)
It is most definitely still worth it, I just picked up a PS5 1 week before Spiderman 2 release , and I absolutely love it! Got so many PS exclusives to play , graphics are insane , I just love it
Correction: The PS5 unfortunately does not support Freesync. It only supports the HDMI 2.1 implementation of VRR. It isn't really a big deal as most PS5 owners are on TVs where they either have VRR or they don't. But for those of us using cheaper 1440p gaming monitors that only have HDMI 2.0, it means VRR is unfortunately not available, even though the monitor is capable thanks to Freesync.
This is a great comment that helps me understand why I can't get VRR to work on my Samsung G5 1440p monitor (even after firmware updates) because it only has a HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2 input. I had read that the monitor has VRR over DisplayPort but clearly (after your explanation) this means when connected to a desktop PC and not a PS5.
Although I'm wondering whether I could ger VRR to work if I buy a HDMI 2.1 to DisplayPort 1.2 (active) cable ?? Do you think that might work? For info, The (active) cable I currently have is HDMI 1.4 to DisplayPort 1.2
Well, I'm just happy my 110 PS4 games that I have bought over the last 4 years are not wasted. I can play ALL of my PS4 games on the PS5, directly from the old HDD external, and also able to transfer my already played PS5 games onto that disk--so I can just pull them back up whenever I want to play them again, instead of downloading the whole shebang all over again.
Agreed that the PS5 started slowly. But that was also the case with the Xbox though. It didnt help that they made a lot of games for both current and old gen. That really held back the games. But lately more and more games become PS5 exclusive. Also I love the fact that you can game in 4k/120fps now. When I had a PS4 most games were at 30fps and it's such a huge difference. Also that almost all games doesnt have a loading time anymore is also incredible.
You can't game 4k 120. It's actually 1080p upscale to 4k and it's 60fps. You can't do native 4k 120fps not even pcs that are double the price struggle to do it. So
I’m in the same boat I have both consoles and a custom gaming pc however, I just enjoy the ps5 a little maybe because it bring me back to my childhood. I also believe the gamepass offers a better value because you can get the games both on the Xbox series x and pc.
Really looking forward to the inzone airbuds. Always wanted some airbuds for gaming. I hope it can deliver and the mic is not trash, although I am skeptical. Also arguing on getting the PS5 DE instead of the slim version primarily because it’s cheaper for the same performance and comes with the stand. 30 dollars might not be too much but by the time it comes to Europe I can expect it to be 40-50 euros at minimum. Great video Tech.
Say what you want but buying a game for 70$ vs paying 10$ a month for 100+ games is the reason i like my series s , nothing matches that level of value for my money , and yes i am not a working adult person but a college student who earns money by freelance stuff
Depends on a lot of factors though. Where do your friends game, which exclusives do you like and of course which experience you want in terms of the controller.
@user-db5yl8ic7i if your getting xbox graphics are minimal difference between series s and x. Both have good visuals. I would recommend getting external hdd or ssd for console tho as storage will get eaten up quick. I just transfer games back and fourth or use cloud gaming as I have good internet.
@user-db5yl8ic7i for reference series s is entry level box and series x is their premium model. If you tight for cash the series s will do you just fine.
If you haven't yet, check the PS5 Here! - geni.us/PLAYSTATION5
The PS5 has to be one of the greatest consoles ever made. TOP 3 tor sure.
There are no games

Oh man, the amount of times I've downloaded something remotely. Such an incredible feature.

I had ps5 since launch and I still love it. I'm having a blast with SM2. Using Audeze Maxwell headphones which just amplifies the enjoyment more.
Cool review bro! I love it
Happy 3rd Year Anniversary, Sony PlayStation 5! ❤️🎊🎁🎂🎉🎊😘🥳🎆🎇

To be honest ps+ also offers the same treatment as ultimate, giving 492 games for free (if you buy extra tho)
Yeah...I got my ps5 over the summer and I absolutely love it. Remind you I'm a day one Xbox guy
Please help! I dont have an xbox or playstation. Should i get ps5 slim or series x

Series x. There's more value. Pay $15/ month and literally get access to hundreds of games.
@Sinixzr I only plan on playing digital. Should I get the s 1tb or x? They say x has way better graphics. That why I am asking. What do you think

PS5 has PS3 vibes for some reason. Maybe it’s just me.
