@@aussiejohn5835 I was thinking about it later and I came to the conclusion that it was probably just someone upstairs waiting to rob me (or do something bad). That building (building 19) has its lights controlled by 1 main switch in a large switch room. Some rooms have motion detector lights in them but no rooms have seperate switches. The door can also only be opened from the inside. When looking through the windows of building 19, all the other lights were off meaning the main switch was off. My guess is that someone heard me and opened the door expecting me to come up hence the motion detector light being on.
@Abandoned_Sydney_Exploration I think your explanation is most likely correct, and you were right to change direction. However, as I have experienced the paranormal, I really can't discount the fact that it was a possibility.
