Today we're exploring an abandoned compound with a tradition of more than 100 years. In this former medicine factory somewhere in Germany a universal remedy was fabricated that is known in the whole world till today. Which started as a negligible production in a small shed became a big chemical concern in a minimum of time. More and more buildings were constructed on this property but all of them are deserted today. Find out why and what's left in today's episode!

So not that hard but stil Ty for nice words
I really appreciate your research for this video. You certainly make industrial history interesting. It's a shame the building couldn't be repurposed once again. All the little brown bottles were really neat. Maybe with all the 'fuss" about plastics we will be using glass bottles again.
I loved the brown bottles, too!
That is really a good idea S. Ray. We certainly need to do something about pollution. While we save the glass it would be good to rescue all the wonderful furniture, the industrial smaller items for found art. Such a wonderful place. BWT does scare me when you go into old buildings especially with contamination but I see that you wear masks which help. Thank you for all your careful research and filming.
The whole of this was absolutely sublime. The cinematography and editing create an almost lyrical composition that seems to float on the music you have chosen. I love the appearance of quiet decay unspoiled by vandalism and graffiti, and you captured some of the most beautiful black mould I have ever seen. I loved the courtyard and it’s dried plants, (and that one tenacious green one) very much. The narration was perfect, and the collection of stills all worthy of framing. Thank you for for applying the BWT magic to this site...stay safe and keep having fun.🖤🇨🇦
Few things excite me as much as seeing a new video by BWT. Awesome work as always, from the slow panning camera shots with all the details to the wealth of information about the place.
I love that you respect and actually give a history of the place. Blessed Be ♥
Your attention to detail is awesome-this location had an interesting history, wishing you a restful Easter. Cheers!
This is an amazing Place. I don't understand Why they did not sell this place and Keep it open. All that Black Mold. What a cool Gas mask. I have never seen one like that. I really love this explore. looks like everyone went home and never show up to work, I'm happy not many people know about this Place. it is a real gem. No broken bottles. Not destroy at all. I hope it can stay that way. If more places like this were up and running then maybe the drugs would not cost so much in America, With drugs companies it all about making that money they don't want small companies to succeed. But Ya made one Awesome video. I did enjoy it and Yes it was worth the wait. Have a Great Sunday. Will keep checking to see when Ya are going live. Peace out. :)
The trials are too expensive for the smaller companies, this is why they need a big pharma company to back them. From start to end, the production of one single compound takes 15 years. It is extremely costly, hence why the smaller companies only do the research and then sell the patent.
Happy Easter guys!
Thank you for another worth it content. My Sunday is complete again. 😊
😊 Happy Easter! Enjoy the time with your loved ones.
@@bwturbex Thank you, the same with all of you too guys! 😊
It's a real shame this place's days are numbered with regards to vandalism. This place is immaculate!
Dude! Brother hugs. Wish I was there w/u'all. I'm petite & can fit in tiny spaces & have courage to face unknown darknesses, been there done that. Happy Easter my German brother!!! Xoxoxoxo
😂😂😅 Enjoy the holidays!
Großartige Arbeit. Eure Videos sind einfach eins wie das andere Augenöffner.
Wow, vielen Dank!!!
Absolutely beautiful! Sad to see the old computer/dumb terminal left behind. :-(
As it seems nobody needed it anymore. Or it was simply forgotten.
@@bwturbex Most definitely. I would love to find contacts for old companies like this and save the forgotten items from being lost forever.
Wow!!! I love it! Those little bottles got Me. I collect them😀✨✌🏻Thanx guys!!!
😋😋😋✌🏽
Me too!! 😍😊
those pink walls and the hotel ceiling lights were so pretty!! What an amazing place to explore and behind that wall was so cool with all those things.
Must have been beautiful during it's operational period and thanks for the gorgeous photography.
Superb editing and dialogue......thank you for this adventure.
Thank you! 😁
👋🏻Hello Germany! So interesting to see factory meets hotel. Thanks for the explore!
Good Morning and Happy Easter. :) I have been waiting for this video all week :)
Happy Easter and enjoy our latest episode! Let us know how you like it. 😁

Another great video guys! Amazing places you find and the narrating is always so excellent and informative! I love all the bottles in the factory! That mold his horrifying please continue to be safe from it we don't want anything bad to happen to you! Can't wait till the next video comes out!!
Thanks for the sweet comment, Linda!
I really like abandoned labs. Especially ones like this with test tubes and stuff left behind. Nice one guys.
Looked like a zombie apocalypse started here. 😂

Miss u channel,, i love everything you telling the story behind every places you come... Regards from Surabaya,, Indonesia..
Beautifully done! I really love your style and cinematography.
Your videos are always very well made ! Love your work and the style of them .
Wow! Another Amazing Video!! I Often Catch Myself Saying "Now This is My New Favorite Video" Thank You So Much!! Excited & Ready for the Next Video Now😊❤
🤩
Great video! When I see videos on old abandoned labs I can't stop thinking that I work in a small chemical lab in a public university with no money to buy material and those companies left all that material and machines behind...when I see videos like these sometimes I start thinking how much I need certain equipment that I see in there lol
Amazing video, glad i found the channel today! Watching this really makes you wonder how everyday life must have looked there.
Welcome to the channel, my friend!
Beautiful video! The video made me sad though, everything just sitting there. The music was beautiful too and helped with the melancholy of the everything. ❤
I'm always in awe at how well u guys put a video together! Filming and voice overs are always so well done! I'm familiar with that pkgng machine! I use to sell parts for machines like that!
Hey Linda, thanks a bunch! We are just editing new content we are planning to release later this year.
Very professional guys! You need to be more popular!
Hopefully soon!
It was very interesting. I love the history with the video rolling 😉 All of yous made my day.
Very nice video, beautiful cinematography and relaxing music. Thanks for sharing your passion like that.
And thank you for watching the videos!
You are fantastic! You give a thorough explanation of the history of what you are exploring which really gives your finds great meaning. Thank you so much.
For a factory as old as me that's amazing to see
lol, what's your age?
Sehr schönes dokumentiertes Video! Vielen Dank fürs Mitnehmen!!!!
I wonder if there are viewers of your video who worked/lived in the locations you explored. I can only imagine their feelings & hope they appreciate the opportunity to revisit their past. Thank you 😊
Yeah, we would love to know that as well!
This was so interesting--danke! My great-great grandmother was born in Zwickau & I'd love to visit Germany!
Great video as always guys!
☺
12:49 That's a nice little Friedrich's condensor;)
What an Incredible place with so much history! Is the pain medication morphine? Just curious. All buildings are merged together. The black mold is scary n prayed you guys had masks. I'm really looking to forward to the next video. You guys are coming the best out there! No one tells the story as you do! Stay safe n God bless from Nevada, USA.
Nope, no morphine. But thanks for your kind words!
Awesome documentary guys!
Thanks to your help with the coordinates!
Was wondering when the next upload was gonna be, guess i can mindread and predict when a video is incoming :D
Gotta love seeing this channel grow at a steady pace :) keep it up :D
Thanks! Spoiler: Next episode in two weeks. 😂
@@bwturbex darnit now i dont need to mindread :'( unsubbed :p (as if i could hahaha)
Another great video. Beautifully shot. The lighting in those buildings was amazing
Thanks for watching!
This location looks so sick. I came across it on UER. I don't have time to watch this now, but I added this video to my "watch later." Looks awesome!
whats UER
Great video as usual.
Thx!
Love your guys stuff. We recently started our own channel with a flare of history. We're hoping to get our filmmaking to the point you guys are at. Thank you for all the amazing work you do.

Thanks for your great content
Ur welcome!
Wonderful work - kudos to all that contributed to this project. Hope the city will save part or all of this history & theatre. They don’t make these anymore. First no one learns how to do this second as you said its expensive to keep up maintenence on it.
Thaks for share, guys ....more the 100 years ago?. Asome!!
o melhor canal que encontrei no you tube, bem explicado os fatos, vocês estão de Parabéns...
3:43 video panning looks so nostalgic
amazing, thank you...
You're welcome!
Alter schwede der Schimmel ist ja wahnsinn aber mega video love it
You guys need to take better precautions against ticks if your walking through long grass/foliage. They cause serious long term health problems like Lyme disease which is a life changer. Love your videos ⭐️🤘💕
HAPPY EASTER💕🐰🐇🐾
Interesting explore for sure 👍

Amazing place
For sure something you don't see every day.
Out of interest, what was the drug they were manufacturing?
I was just asking same question.
@@Ben-gi8eo thank you! You do excellent work! I would help if I were able to so.
@@Ben-gi8eo Alternate Brand Name for it is called Panadol too
Whatever happens to this land and the building on it, I hope they are able to solve the contaminated issues. Those are no joke to nature and people who live near there. The building may have lasted this long but that is an incredible amount of black mold. Not good. Thank you for sharing.
I love the music
Für Chemiker ist das ein lostplaceparadies! Geil!!!
Wish I could subscribe to your channel more than once. Luv from California
You could share with all the people you know and they might subscribe for you. 😄
Through the entire video (perhaps it's because I'm a nurse) I was wanting to know what medication the original chemist had discovered or made that is still in use today all over the world. Please, please, please divulge that information for my curious mind. BTW I loved the video and so nice to see an abandoned building without the vandalism and nasty graffiti. I have never understood why kids think it is so much fun tearing things up and destroying things that people, talented and intelligent people have worked hard to conceive a thought and build the entire process from idea to a factory--it is amazing and yet kids don't get that. When I was a teen, I wouldn't even go toilet paper someone's house because I thought of it as vandalism. Who knows why ugliness is found in the heart of some and not others?
Sorry, we can't post the name of the drug publicly because people then could find the address really easy and maybe trash the buildings.
@@bwturbex Yeah I know you don't want to give the site away, but drugs, as you said yourself, are made by dozens of pharmaceutical companies, so just giving me the name of the drug is not going to give away where you were filming. I truly appreciate and respect you both have for protecting the property and privacy of all you do--truly it is remarkable and admirable. I have chronic pain from terrible things that happened to me in a bad motorcycle accident and I just thought it would be interesting to know if I am taking the drug he created. If so then he has kept me alive, because with the pain I have with no relief it just wouldn't be worth it to live.
2:22 wow I just realized that this dust stain looks like a scary skull
Haha, the one on the left? You're right!
Wow sometimes I come to you tube video's and there are no comment sections.. That just happened to this video but I reloaded it and bang! here it is..I do not think you are getting all of your comments.. I was able to click the like though and it looks as if it is still clicked.. I am in washington state USA I can not tell if it is my provider or you tube or my system that is doing this nut I thought you might like to know.. as always thanks for the share and carry on men.. be careful!
Yes, too bad that UA-cam has so many weird bugs!
@@bwturbex Well I love you vids and as long as I can atleast watch them.. I am ok on my end.. and now that I know that the no comment is just a glitch .. well I can over come that too now.
Another excellent video. I loved the research and the videography. Thank for wearing mask in the black mold hell .. at least I hope you did.
We did and/or avoided the area!
I'm not sure why, but I found the cleanliness of the first place a bit unnerving. If it's been abandoned for 17 years, how could it possibly be so free of dust and debris?
Building stock is good, doors and windows are shut and no people go there. That's why it's so clean.
Very cool video, watching the beginning made me think of a question. When you approach a facility such as this and there is already a window punched through, if the authorities show up and try to pin that broken window on you guys, are there forensic tests that can show that window has been broken far before you guys arrived? Just a thought.
Hey Drew, they won't start an investigation just because of this. It's way too expensive... and we're just trespassers, no bank robbers.
@@bwturbex please forgive my thinking and the question, I have two kids your age and well, once a parent always a parent!…hahaha….
Very strange, the bathrooms looks so new, makes you wonder. Anyway what was this drug called that you talked about?
We can't say this because it would be too easy to find out this location with the information. Sorry!
@@bwturbex its okay, interesting video regardless.
welcome back to germany, guys - the lost place tapes will return to germany in two weeks as well ! two things
Another great video. No intro vid / music? Or have you forgotten to add? 🤔
There is an intro (window opening animation). If you meant the Italy intro... yes, this is missing. Because this isn't an Italy episode. 😃
@@bwturbex Well, create a new one then! I love that Italy intro 😂😀
We're planning a new intro for quite some time now. And if it works it will be something you haven't seen ever before! But this will take a lot more time. Worth the wait though. 😁
Deuchland!!
👍👍👍👍
🇩🇪
hi nice video
Thanks, bro.
Be careful these places could have radioactive effects....!!💯👍🤗💜
Thanks for the info!
I saw Paracetemol ( tylenol ) in the catalog you picked up, is that what they were manufacturing ? I thought it mite be morphine .. since you said it was so universal and useful
So what was the medicine in the little brown bottles? I'm curious! Even the black mold is beautiful in it's own awful way.
We can't go into detail since this would reveal the location of the plant.
@@bwturbex I did wonder about that.
It's poignant to see a building abandoned before decay sets in. Sad to imagine what it will look like in another 10 or 20 years.
Could you please tell us what said the headline from the newspaper?
"Books everywhere and the joy of reading"
@@bwturbex Thanks a lot!!.
Nice oldschool radio, from the looks of it this site must be in the former DDR,am i right?Judging from the stations:Radio DDR,Stimme der DDR and the whole former Soviet Block and Eastern European stations.
Yes, this is former GDR territory.
So what was the medicine they were mass producing in the lab ?
That information would reveal the location.
Machine seems new
What was the remedy?
Something for erection problems.
lol, just kidding.
Here watchin the vid with a burger n sprite
Enjoy ;D
👍👍👍👍👍
😎📯
Urban explorer's, Interesting spin on trespassing.
We never stated our hobby would be legal. But we have a clear conscience since we're only documenting.
perfectly for a breaking bad enterprise 😎
Why is there always at least one animal carcass inside buidings? Each vid I watch so far
Not just mice but large animal...
This is strange thing!
Wie könnt ihr eigentlich so wenige views haben?
sounds like they were making polish anusol here LOL
I would suggest speaking a little bit slower when doing the narration. It would help with the accent and make the narration clearer.
