I watch because a) I like you, you are clearly a good man. b) your humour makes me smile/laugh out loud c) I learn something useful d) I enjoy seeing the scenic places you go and d) I feel all the better and happier for watching.

I am guilty of never really fully appreciating the hard work, time and effort that goes into making a video of the kind of high standard you make. As entertaining as ever Gavin, some very funny scenes too. Amanda’s walk reminded me of John Cleese in monty python when he did the sketch, Ministry of silly walks, I’m sure you’ll have seen it. Shame about the lighting, but that’s landscape photography, nothing’s guaranteed. I did find the chat at the end very interesting, especially the trolls, there must be something in the human brain that exaggerates the importance of negative comments or opinions, almost to the point where positive comments or opinions become less important. It’s a real shame that people say things to upset you and others who provide free entertainment, but the people who appreciate what you do are really the people you should be listening to. Your doing a great job Gavin, long may you continue, you’d be very much missed if you weren’t on You tube, that goes for Adam too.

Best part of this video is that I felt like I was camping with you guys. I was the guy on the other side of the fire with the Lume Cube. It was nice to finally get out of the house.
Very much enjoyed the fireside talk and the honest reflection of just going photographing rather than vlogging. Loved the different birds chirping and singing in the background. My wife are making plans to come to Vancouver Island soon to scout around and take some epic shots.

After spending 77 of the past 80 days without going anywhere my wife was ready to burst, so we took the 6 hour drive to Alabama Hills. After watching the F4 Roadtrip she's now more interested in where you all were than where movies were shot. I got turned on to LumeCube when it showed up as an ad during another of your videos a few months ago. I went with the full sized PanelGo and I love it for light painting. I just wish they'd make barn doors for it so I can block off and shape the light a little better. They make them for he little cube but the panel gives better light I think. Great video, keep up the great work.

Great to see you guys out in the bush again. I am really sorry to hear that your getting tired of doing the vlogs as I really look forward to yours and Adam's every week, really makes my day. I started brewing pour over coffee 6 months ago after watching one of Peter Mckinnon's videos and buying a little stainless steel filter set up from Ikea. It's cheap, makes the best coffee, much better than the hot milk swill you get from many cafes. BTW, buying a new Telephoto lens this week (Tamron 100-400) then I am definitely buying the F4 Road Trip, can't wait to see it!
@@fototripper I am really happy with the Tamron lens. AF is quick and smooth and the focus is pretty spot on unlike the Sigma 18-35 I bought last year. I downloaded the F4 Roadtrip and it is just fantastic so far. Greg has done a great job on the cinema photography, hasn't he? I don't vlog put i have the regular Lumecube light panel and love it. I just bought an RGB (not lumecube) and love it. I use them for my toy photography and love them. The Lumecube 2.0 is great too. I plan to use them on my trip in a couple weeks. Definitely recommend them! Thanks for posting the fireside chat in this. That was great stuff.
Great video Gavin - lots of fun as usual. I have a couple of Lume Cubes - really good little lights. You've got me interested in the panel light though. I can imagine that will open up some creative ideas for those night shots. Looking forward to seeing them.
