Oh man, that looks amazing. Thank you so much for sharing this! This is the first time I've seen anyone show their process for making the armor. This has been my cosplay holy grail for a few years now.
Haha! Thank you so much!! 😊 40k lore is so fun to get into, I don’t even play the board game (tabletop war games aren’t really my thing) but I absolutely love how in-depth the lore is as well as love playing the various games. Being called a proper Adepta Sororitas is 🙌🙌🙌
Omg, i have been looking for a nice, clear instructional video to do a sisters outfit! I was about to give up all hope, lol. Thankyou for sharing this 💜
Ha! He's actually working on a project of his own, though both of us can't remember what it was. I put him to work though don't worry about that--he takes most of my photos :)
I'm at the early stages of building one for my partner & currently looking at the lower body items needed, greaves, boot covers etc. This is a great video and i'll use to help put my patterns together for the main armoured parts.
Amazing! You are welcome! Remember to wear safety equipment/respirators when working with contact cement or sanding. It can be difficult to find info when you’re just starting out but I’m glad I can inspire
What you made was beautiful and impressive. I always loved the sisters of battle since the beginning of high school, what you made was a great service to them.
You should turn those patterns into PDF and sell them ... its the sort of thing I have been hunting for as my daughter of 15 years is desperate to cosplay adeptus sororitas - and as her dad (a wh40K addict) I would like to feed that passion - you work is definitely worthy of emulating
You are absolutely right, I’m trying to build a pdf book but it takes time and, you know...work and stuff. Send me an email and I can see what I have saved. I have the things I cut on cricut up on cricut design space for free
Nice work, I like the amount of detail you've put on this. Also, using googly eyes for rivets is an awesome idea. No-one will know that you're staring at them with dozens of hidden eyes.... you should come up with an excuse to make something where all the googly eyes get added last and are there freaking people out :)
Just regular ol’ PLA! Just make sure you heat up the whole thing evenly and be careful when you touch it because you have to get it pretty hot to be able to form. Gloves help because it wants to snap back to its printed state so you need to hold it until it has cooled
Amazing work!!!!! I'll look forward for the next vídeo. I'm making a old style armor for my friend as well, youre an inspiration. Keep the good work. For the Emperor!!!!
Modeling patterns is a huge challenge, I'm glad you included the redo of the pauldron position and explained why. Did you use Barge Thinner to remove the pauldron? I've use that in past (thanks to Evil Ted) and it's left the connection fairly clean.
I didn’t have it then, but at the time I ordered it and it’s now in my crafting arsenal for future mistakes (I’m sure there will be plenty) Of course I didn’t wait for it to arrive 🤦♀️ I used an exact-o and cut through the barge, which clearly left marks as you could see. But luckily the way I reattached you couldn’t tell and the only exposed part of the removal was about an inch on the back neck 👍
4:02 so you're saying you "COULDN'T EVEN..." :) 10:25 still going hard on the Googly eyes :D they work so well though....so excellent idea ! The amount of tiny details that you almost don't notice unless you know it's there is staggering....a lot of work - but the end result was well worth it !!!
This inspired me to maybe get into cosplay myself, as I'm loving the 40k lore and then started to build minis and now it dawned on my I might wanna try to cosplay a sister of battle.. but I have no idea where to start, I never did a cosplay before.. but I'm determined! ^-^ (May I ask if you used high or low density foam? And in general.. how does one make these patterns. It is a bit overwhelming qwq) Also sorry for being so awkward in asking judt like that but.. if someone knows it would be you I guess qwq

This girl schooled me on 40k lore about this costume. Was super impressed by the attention to detail and craft. She’s a proper sister of battle

Cooool!!! Each piece of this is so good, and the finished project is outstanding! And wow, yet another great use of a cricut :-)

I have another video that includes the greaves and boot covers!
This is incredible! You did an amazing job on this!!
Thank you! Cheers!
Very interesting mix of techniques, with an excellent result! Thanks for sharing!

Great job on the cosplay!
I love that excitement before painting an armor piece.
This is so much work. Well done finishing it! Got to be one of the best out there.
You’re incredible 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I’ve just started dipping into cosplay, I’m wanting to do a Secutarii Axiarch, and your video has given me so much info! Thank you!

@@SundaySlaysCosplay do you have a pdf template or references to go off of to make it?
Ahhh! So good! Do you have patterns for the armor for sale?!
I think you should build a cosplay of Paragon Warsuits, Celestian Sacresants.
That's outstanding! (I've played a Sisters army for many years.)
Thank you!
I am so envious =.= Great job!
Why do girls have the best cosplay construction YT tutorials? 😢You did such a great job and enjoyable to watch the process
i knew that it was alot work making high quality cosplays, but this amount is mindblowing! great work, looks realy awesome ^^

OMG I never even thought about heating up a 3D print and reshaping it 🤯 do you have to use a special type of filament?

Thanks.
just wow!
Pauldron Debacle is the name of my bardcore grunge band.
😸 I’d listen!
When is Part 2 coming?
In a few weeks! I have hours and hours of footage to organize 😅
@@SundaySlaysCosplay 😢
What material did you make it out of?
Worbla and EVA foam
While watching this I got an advert for 40K Lost Crusade, starring Sunday Slays
Like a separate advert? That’s… appropriate for this- ha ha! I gave them the footage they must be running ads. It’s a fun little mobile game!
@@SundaySlaysCosplay I do really enjoy it, I like playing it during dryinh breaks when painting my minis. But yeah, a separate ad, it made me chuckle.
черт какой же крутой костюм ты зделала умничка вышло круто

🙏🙏 thank you!
Yeah now I want to be a Sister of Battle :) Actually I always wanted to be a Grey Knight those Dudes are just so F*****g Bad Ass! TFS, GB :)
That's gorgeous!!! =][=
The fucking googly eyes made me laugh so hard XD XD XD
Not accurate. You can actually move in that.
Ha! I can! Though stairs are my nemesis when I'm fully suited up since I can't see my feet.
