Out of all the Factions ... they have some of the most twisted and scary looking modles. That one that looks like the Iron Maidon ( forget the name ) is so scary looking. Well done man well painted clearly lol
I'm a bit late but the unit is called "Mortifiers"
I’ve absolutely adored this series. Thank you so much, I’ve learned a ton and it’s been super insightful and entertaining.
Thanks a lot Ollie
Crazy beautiful. I can’t believe this is your tabletop standard, so perfect and perfect amount of grim dark.
Keeping brush control in mind is not always as simple as it seems. Thanks for the tip about keeping the brush on it’s point… great tip that I’ll be focusing on when I am doing freehand script. ❤
yeah me to. il have to paint it one day lol
This is one of my favorite miniature painting series ever, from any painter. Love your work here, Henry. I especially liked seeing the whole process starting at picking a color scheme and including some different style models that aren't in power armor. I'd love to see your take on Tyranids or some of the Chaos Daemon models, especially if you come up with custom color schemes.
Thanks Jake. I'll certainly cover demons and nids in the future.
I've really enjoyed the combat patrol series so far, keep up the great content.
Such an awesome series and great army. The scheme is sublime. GG, great job!
Thanks Owen
The army painting series of vids has been my favorite, both here and on patreon.
omg...the cling wrap idea to block off your mini...I never thought of that! thx mate!
Amazing how they turned out.
Looking great, Henry! Combat Patrol is the way of the future, if you're a hobby butterfly like me, but don't want to jump into a whole new game like Kill Team - a small(ish), fixed number of models that you can spend as much or as little time as you feel like on it, then move on to the next one after some games. I've got 1 box in progress, and I'm already thinking about what's going to be next after it's finished. Looking forward to the rest of the series!
I agree. It’s gonna be a really fun way of getting a taster of a bunch of different things.
They look amazing all together. This series has been super useful for me, looking forward to seeing more combat patrol vids!
Hi Henry, those army painting tutorials are really enjoyable. Thank you and looking forward to more such videos.
Cling film for masking - brilliant!!!! Thank you!
Hi Henry, I have really enjoyed this series, the scheme is perfect (although I would have painted the tank in a mix of Pink and White) and very motivating, each video spurs a load of painting in my house. Thanks for this series!
really love this colour scheme , turned out very nice for how quick it was
I got stuck on painting my sisters during 9th. Just on the things you take up in this video. So this vid will help tremendously! Thank you!
Perhaps I will pick them up again when their 10th ed codex is released. :)
Love this, I'd love for you to tackle Eldar, maybe a full turquoise scheme !
i love the folk art brand paint, they have an off white color called antique parchment. lightly thinned its great for purity seals
I'm really looking forward to the continuation of this series. Thoroughly enjoyed your sororitas project.
Thanks Matthew
Excellent Henry!! Thank you! ❤😊
The Necro Gold has such a lovely tone.
You mentioned the abteilung oils.
I really like engine grease. It’s already sort of a brown black. Great for washing orks and metals
Perfect timing! My Combat Patrol arrives tomorrow!
Nice!
Such a lovely force, would love to see a group photo of them all together on the table, something to put on your instagram or a glory vid!
Amazing color scheme, i especially love the pale blue parchment. Such a nice touch!
We’ve got some games of 10th lined up so will be sure to get some snaps.
There was no final shot of the repentia and arco flagellants. Do you have pics of them somewhere?
I'd love to see some more sisters added to the army. I'm gonna use this scheme as close as I can recreate it for my own Sisters army.
I've already mentioned it before but since algorithm likes comments then I would be very happy to see you tackle Custodes, especially in some non metallic scheme
Like the black and purple nes?
My suggestion for a future combat patrol would be either Chaos Space Marines or Adeptus Mechanicus.
Gorgeous.
Genestealer cult box set next please!
Would love to see GSC - I've got a bunch of them sitting in my pile of shame because I just find them so intimidating (and you have to paint so many of them to get to 2k)
I dont start collecting sisters because their models are beautiful and I want to have so many color schemes on them. But this painted patrol looks gorgeous, maybe I'll adapt this scheme for my girls in the future
Soulblight gravelords and seraphon
Lovely work
Amazing!
Hey Henry. Absolutely loved this series. Been meaning to ask what paints you used on the gloves of the sisters? At first I thought it was black like the cloaks but it looks subtly different.
Nice video again Henry. Keep forgetting about using things like clingfilm to mask funny shaped models when you have just one other bit to do. Oh and do I get points for knowing that was probably a Chinook that flew past in the background haha.
You do!
i love your scheme, was looking for sthing like this! i will just swap purple with red
That’d look really classic, I like it.
Going to have to watch this entire series in order soon. Though I have four possible factions to do for the new rules. I suppose I should go with the one closest to completion at this point.
Or all 4…
The old school death eagles scheme would be pretty sweet i dont think ive seen you guys do a pink paint scheme yet
That is an old scheme! I’ve a pink/purple recipe I’m desperate to do on something
I am in love
When you airbrush the tamiya colors, do you prepare your workspace and ventilation different from when you use vallejo or gw colors? They got a different medium, don't they?
They are alcohol based not water based, but I treat them the same. Good ventilation and a mask. I don’t want to breathe in either.
@@cultofpaint Thanks for the fast answer! I use a normal particulate mask for airbrushing vallejo, but I suppose I'd need to upgrade for alcohol vapors from tamiya.
@@maximilian3544 yeah get yourself a decent respirator to use whenever your e airbrushing
Amazing job bro! I just had a Castigator, Triumph of St Katherine, Combat Patrol, Exorcist, Vahl, and Celestine delivered to the house yesterday. So excited to get them painted! 🥳
Nice!
Looks great! How did you make the pillars for the jump pack troops? much nicer than the standard flight stands.
I forgot to add that in the video. It’s just a piece of sprue that’s roughed up with a knife, then a small hole drilled in the top and a piece of paper clip inserted.
Have thoroughly enjoyed this short series, any thoughts on doing a follow up series?
Absolutely. I’ve a few kits to add to this force if I end up enjoying it. But one of things I’m looking forward to with Combat Patrol is trying a few different armies out before going “all in”.
Great video, Henry! I really love the combat patrol format!
Regarding the skin: Did you matte varnish it after the magos purple?
Satin.
GSC!
The sisters in white is very regal...
It took me 6 months to do 10 Battle Sisters and Morven Vahl! :(
Well done. Keep going
@@cultofpaint thnx. I’ve got 5 sacresants assembled, magnetised and primed - ready to dry brush. Putting my 6 Paragons together first though. I’m magnetising again and I swear they are the fiddliest things put together! 😭
Hey Henry, let me know how I can reach out, I'd be happy to pay for a Custodes combat patrol if you thought it'd make an interesting video. This series is fantastic and I hope to see more in the future.
Hey sorry I missed this! That’s a really kind offer. I will 100% do a custodes combat patrol, but probably not until they get their next book. I’d much prefer it if you kept your box and painted them up using the scheme we do if you like it though!
So glad I stumbled across this video! I'm in the process of building a sisters army and had been planning a very similar colour scheme.
Do you think a cool toned snow base would work well with this scheme? I saw this video by the painting baron and fell in love: ua-cam.com/video/9b4tKIedqjo/v-deo.html but I'm just a bit worried that it might look a bit weird with the armour already being a warm near-white, and the parchment being a cool near-white.
Nah I think those ideas all sound good.
Awesome, thanks for the reply!
Man don't do this premiere stuff, just post the video when it's ready
Or maybe we keep doing this premiere stuff and enjoy chatting with people as it goes live.
I enjoy “premiere stuff”
Premiere stuff rocks! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
You could just not watch the premiere and wait a little instead of making this pointless comment.
I don't usually enjoy premieres, but this channel does it well. The amount of people in the chat is usually in that sweet range where there's enough people to get the ball rolling but not so much that people's messages are unreadable. And Henry is always there interacting and answering questions, which I'm glad for. I enjoy when I catch them live.
What happened to all of the culture of paint videos?
Moved to their own channel. All been edited and reuploaded there. @cultureofpaint
@@cultofpaint thanks
