    I discovered the joys of a halogen oven when my main oven when bust. I saw a TV shopping channel selling them dirt cheap and bought one and the saying goes, "the rest is history"... ;-)

    Superb Paul! I do mine rather old school with a frying pan and then drain the fat afterwards but I do not add fat, You get enough from the sausages and bacon. and yes keep it to a minimum! too much will slow down .😀haha!

    they are really useful gizmos the halogen , my mums been using one for years .... also Paul , try a slow cooker for currys .... leave it on all day on slow cook , get home in the evening and your house smells lovely :O) - btw mate , it helps if you use tin foil inside on the racks .. it saves on fat spillage on the glass - as you would in an oven .

    you can do the egg & tomatoes in the halogen too. why did your one not light up? most have a halogen bulb that lights up when cooking.

    • @007vauxhall
      @007vauxhall  5 років тому

      Mine has a metal element, it was marked as a halogen/convection oven.

    • @dragonlord0666
      @dragonlord0666 5 років тому

      ah, guess they work much the same. I do like the light, it come on and within minutes goes off and the oven is up to temp. if the light is on it's heating up and at temp/cooling if the light is off.
      mine I can replace the bulb easily when it blows.

Na man … those 30 minutes could have been better spent doing some exercises… Cook it on the cooker top, drain your healthy sausages, trim your bacon and ditch the blood sausage! Oh and save your money on stoopid gadgets you don’t need! You know the old sayings all came from somewhere for a reason don’t you….? Well this one springs to mind….
