Spider-Man: No Way Home made so much money it's hard to even fathom. People got to see three beloved superhero characters on screen together and that was enough for most people. Not us. We saw the sins within.
Thursday: Animated movie from, I don't know, within the last 10 years at least.
Remember, no movie is without sin. Which movie's sins should we count next?

In the big fight, Sandman wanted the box to push the button. He didn't want to destroy it like Electro. Spider-Man didn't want to give the box to Sandman because he wanted to "cure" everyone first.

      @summertyme5748 Рік тому +1

Max could have destroyed the box with his electricity easily. But he doesn't. Instead he asks for others to give it to him. lol. What is he going to smash it with a rock or something? lol.
Sandman also wants to be cured and he wants to go home. But he is fighting Spiderman who is trying to help him, and working with the villains who want to destroy the box.
Note: Don't try to pretend it's not a plot hole *Sandman is with the villains and they attack the SpiderMen together.* Why? It makes about as much sense as Spiderman suddenly deciding to fight with Thanos and against the Avengers. lol.
The Villains are the only thing stopping him from going back home.
Also supposedly if he isn't cured he will die. Remember? So he wants to be cured too right? lol. Nice try though, but this film only works if you are smoking weed and can't remember what happened even 5 minutes ago.

I can answer the Venom question. At the end of Let There Be Carnage, Venom explains to Eddie that the symbiotes share a hive mind across the multiverse. When trying to show him this, the two are suddenly pulled into the MCU, where Venom recognises Spiderman on a TV. To me, that says he was able to access the memories of Topher Grace's Venom, and that's how he knew Peter Parker was Spiderman.

_thus pulling only villains with the spell_
^ Lol. The attempts to explain this film are always fun because they only make the plot holes more obvious.
      1) Max Electro is a villain but doesn't know Parker, but was pulled.
      2) Peter 2 and Peter 3 - definitely know Parker (lol) but they are most definitely not Spider Man villains but they were pulled too? So which is it then.
Not only villains, not only those who know Parker. Now what?
On the real: This is simply a badly written script that has an AGENDA to get the Sony characters in the MCU.
This is done with a 1/2 assed hack screen writer's excuse - which falls apart when you try in vein to explain it.

It's actually a good explanation... or it can be, if they properly explore it. There's tons of mystery to work with in the symbiote lore and could expand the MCU dramatically
But then again, there's Green Lantern, the Fantastic Four and the whole Star Wars EU to remind us that Hollywood doesn't always do well with expansive, interesting universes full of world-building and lore. Yes, that's the films excuse. No that doesn't make sense. Spidey 'sense' is basically precognition. It's not what is required for Peter in that scene which is Omega level physic power. Watch Dr. Strange 2 (also a bad movie, but that's another issue) - and observe how Wanda can mentally control the Wanda of another Universe. That's the power that Parker would need to do this trick and he *does not have this power.* So the scene is just a fan service for Mary Sue Parker.

Also any and all MJ's etc aren't superpowered and would get pretty easily lost. They could theoretically "spawn" anywhere on earth. How would they find anyone? Peter has always been protected in some fashion and he knows if he has a problem he has people he can turn to. This movie pretty much made all of the above null and void as he has no friends, no family - no one who can help him, Peter now is well and truly alone. As you probably know since Tobey Maguire’s Peter spent most of his time as Spider-Man concealing his identity, it was only from the third film onwards that nearly everyone in his life knew he was Spider-Man, previously this gave him thick skin, giving him the strength to make his own decisions, and fight for himself. Spider-Man is know as a lone wolf, he’s not a team player, the mcu knows where they made their mistake, this is movie is them reconciling and yes mainly it’s a cash grab but and made mainly for the fans but it totally deserves more credit than it’s getting, this may be the MCU turning over a new leaf, I think we should appreciate that.

Tobey talks about how he also lost his uncle Ben, spending his early adult years living in poverty, struggling to pay the bills, and having to cope with the idea that he contributed to his best friends fathers death, just explaining the whole dilemma of Spider-Man 2, peters life was like shit, but he walked it off, he kept swinging until he made it work for himself. Tom hearing all of their experiences not only as Spider-Man but as Peter Parker, Tom is realises that these people have had it much harder in life than he has, then his decision to wipe everyone’s memories of Spider-Man is a unideal choice he is willing to make because this is his chance to rewrite his origin story, he’s not Peter Parker who was bit by a spider and was recruited by tony stark and pretty much had his life handed to him, he can finally prove himself worth of calling himself Spider-Man

There are no lasting consequences for anyone else. In fact the whole point of the plot is to *reboot* the story thereby eliminating all the consequences from all the previous stories.
Doc Ock, and Goblin and Max and lizard are *all alive* again. Tobey and Andrew are Spiderman again. Parker is a kid with no high school diploma, no girl friend money or job again.
No one knows anything he ever did so every - consequence leads to something he can do over. And that is the real point of the plot.

Something that actual actors have dealt with when they have to do a considerable amount of wire-work; so it makes logical sense that a superhero who frequently uses it as a mode of transportation, would eventually develop spinal issues.

Also SpiderMan's *need* for his secret identity has its origins in super hero convention in a world where Super Heroes were not a thing and Avengers did not exist [SpiderMan was created before IronMan for example].
But in a world where Stark came out and said *I am Iron Man* and is now the world's greatest hero - and Parker's surrogate dad....the idea that being outed as Spiderman who helped saved the Universe from Thanos - is a *disaster* is just another cheat- where the writers are going - screw it, just play along.

      @summertyme5748 11 місяців тому +1

You mean ‘right before they died’.
But it didn’t. They didn’t all die.
This is another huge convoluted plot hole in the film.
Lizard and Sandman did *not* die fighting Spiderman.
In fact this is why you are allowed to *infer* it - but it is not explained.
Try to follow because you won’t want to and won’t like it…
It’s not explained because it isn’t true.
It is inferred because the film needs you to believe that Peter concludes that he can’t send them back because they will all die.
Without that inference - you would be more aware of the MADNESS of Parker’s silly and illogical agenda.
Finally the reason Parker has this agenda is to make the plot happen. It’s a fan service plot that brings Sony characters [dead and alive] back for silly reasons - so they can fight the old Spidermen again.
*CinemaSins is also 100% RIGHT when they say - we don’t know why ANY of these characters are fighting.* 😂
Marco is the most obvious as he wants to go back home to his daughter. Parker supposedly wants to help him.
But now - he is trying to kill Peter which would mean he *can’t* get home - and Parker is trying to ‘cure’ him of being Sandman which he never asked for.
Funny how everyone but Peter must be *cured* of their Superpowers.
Lol - more I think about this film, the more I just laugh at how stupid it is and how stupid the audience needs to be to enjoy it.

@@starcycle4308 well it's kind of a spoiler but given your comment you don't feel the need to watch tsam2 so I'll just fill you in.
essentially, in the Amazing Spider-Man 2, Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man fights his universe's green goblin in a clocktower, and as the fight ends a bunch of the clock mechanisms fall out from being damaged. Gwen, Spider-Man's love interest of the TASM movies, was inside the tower and when the mechanisms break she falls. Peter attempts to catch her with a web but it catches her in a very bad way and far to late and the momentum snaps her neck while her head also hits the ground pretty hard from the impact, killing her instantly. now its assumed, since Garfield's Spider man has apparently been at it for a very long time after Gwen's death that we haven't seen but it's mentioned in NWH, that Garfield's version of spiderman has been obsessing about that trauma in his head over and over, how he should have done it differently, how he could have saved her if he had been just a little quicker, so when he sees Tom's Spiderman's girlfriend falling, the realities he has played out in his head hundreds of times where Gwen doesn't die, where he is able to save her, enable him to instinctually spring into action as soon as he sees her falling. he saves her, but he cries because she's not Gwen, and the realization sets in that no matter how much he obsesses over how she died, what he could have done differently, he can't ever go back and change it. he's stuck with his fatal mistake and the realization that he could have saved her, that it really is his fault she isn't alive. at the same time he cries because he is happy that Tom's spiderman never has to experience the pain of losing someone like MJ.
Overall it's a really beautiful moment for him because he finally gets some redemption for saving another spiderman's girlfriend the way he couldn't save his own, but bittersweet because it forces him to accept the harsh reality that he really could have saved Gwen, but he failed and nothing can ever bring her back.
