I see no reason to spend time measuring latency of the device when you can, visually, see the latency in this video. Any latency that is enough that it appears that the hand moves a little before it moves on the screen, it is uncomfortable to watch in a live setting. If it isn't in a live setting, who really cares what the latency is?
I can confirm this result since I have done my own test getting around 60ms latency. The latency result is identical with 400S. It’s sad that the advertisement says 40ms or less. I bought 3 systems based on that claim. I wish it was true. But it’s not. Firmware update maybe?
Hi, we are sorry about the misunderstanding. It is "as low as" 40ms. With our setup and testing environment, 56ms is the average result we got, but if you check out the video carefully, you will get a latency even lower than 40ms at some point. However, based on the market feedback and request, our product team may decide to design and create one for the system in the near future. Thank you.
Hi! Sorry for the unpleasant experience. May I ask is this 'bad latency' causing by any complex scenarios? Feel free to contact us at support@hollyland-tech.com and our support team will try the best to help you out. As for our COSMO C1, it boosted signal strength and superior anti-interference capability in the 5.1GHz-5.8GHz frequency. So if you need to use a wireless transmission system in the complex scenarios, COSMO C1 can handle it better. Thanks!

In most product texts it’s written < 40ms. For me this is a „smaller than“-symbol. So the latency of the system should be at max 40ms. I also found texts with written(!) „less than 40ms“. So the resellers seem to net getting the correct info’s. And all that for marketing. Yikes!
Hi! Sorry to hear that. Here is the quick answer might be helpful in your case: hollyland-techhelp.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/4410069473171-Why-there-is-not-video-display-on-monitor- There are 3 ways to power the Cosmo C1: 1. DC adapter (6~16V) 2. NPF battery 3. Type-C (5V/2A) Note: you can use a power bank to charge our device, but it is not a good choice, because it always provides an unstable supply current if the battery capacity of the power bank is lower than 75%. Who actually shoots 60FPS as a project setting? Shouldn't Hollyland advertise the low latency in a single specific setting? More dodgy advertising to go along with the omission that the wireless setup only can work with a single receiver.
Hi, we are sorry about the misunderstanding. As you can see, we came with honesty on this video and we are not trying to defend ourselves. It is "as low as" 40ms. Hi! We used the average latency during a period of time not a certain point of time in your case. With our setup and testing environment, 56ms is the average result we got. Thanks~
This test is in 60 fps... how does it perform under 24fps? That's mostly what I'd work in. Thanks for the demo!
Hi Bryan, it supports 24fps.🙌

I tested at b&h my I need I may save teradeck need to at minimum 10ms for focus pulling.

All tests i found so war are only with HDMI cameras. I guess SDI has a faster signal processing.
Mars 400 pro has bad latency when the distance gets further at about 30m but is OK when close by. Is there such issue for c1?

What happened to the advertised latency? 40ms was advertised but now you're saying 56ms??? Yikes!

@@hollylandtech yes but ‘at some point’ isn’t consistent. You should measure multiple test and make the mean-average the actual advertised result.

Just got my C1 and its defective. it does not transmit a signal.

SDI out camera !!!!! Hdmi small cámara have delay for the port
I am excited to see C1 get 40ms latency, but now your test result shows it's 56ms... Which number is correct?

What about latency SDI?
HDMI and SDI are more or less the same.

Many people do, myself included :)
Why use the green screen in the monitor…This is not a reliable test
IDK but the latency in this video is 88ms right? not 56ms...

This is the most useless video i've seen in my entire life lol
"hello we have 56ms latency, goodbye!"
