Kevin saying “just 16 million dollars” like that amount of money is nothing is making my bank account embarrassed
it was sold for 54 million btw. Probably all the succesful stories were downplayed because they makde a mistake.
If it makes you feel any better, it's not as if they actually have 16 million in the bank. If he took that as "income" it would have been taxed at around a 50% rate, so he would have lost 8 million. Most likely, he took a nice pay out, like $100,000 and rolled the rest into his business.
The way he was saying 1 billion like it wasn’t a lot
He's saying this because the guy was asking for $1million for a 5% share of the company. So they would have lost money on the investment with them selling for only $16mil

The biggest flex for Mark Cuban is that he invested in the show Shark Tank itself before it started. I don’t know if the others did but I think that’s absolutely perfect
The doorbot, now Ring, was the biggest mistake they made. The CEO sold the company to Amazon for 1 billion and he has a net worth of 300 million because of it.

I wish they'd talk more about the failed companies and the ones that got away, obviously they don't want to do that because it's bad marketing for their show and their egos are huge so they don't want to talk about the ones that went bust, but it's really fascinating and I'd love to hear more about those deals.

I actually think she should be applauded. While it might come off as annoying, Men tend to be more aggressive compared to women. Not because of sexism, just the way the genders differ. Instead of whining and complaining about it, or demanding they change their behavior - she slugs it out with them, and stands side by side.
So I actually like Barbara, because she steps up to match their energy, instead of being a victim.

The funny thing about the Haven demo is that they are actually correct most doors can be busted open fairly easily. The issue they came into here, at least this is what I have read, is that the set design team for the show over engineered the door frame assuming that structural integrity might be key to the product and thus being a standalone wall would require reinforcing.

Barbara was the only one to actually regret not investing in these companies and the others don't even acknowledge the success of one's they didn't invest in
When watching them on the show I get this impression of them being no fun, no nonsense, especially how they argue alot and can be at each others throats sometimes (I understand that they're like this due to the amount of money that gets involved on the show and how passionate they are). But off the show they all seem to be good friends and laugh alot together
