There could have been no better host for this programme. Her sense of humour lightens the mood. She is a mood.
I love how 'back in the day' you could work for a retail company and you could move up and get recruited into corporate which leads to other job opportunities. Now, all I hear people say is "it's about who you know". SOME companies don't seem to value their long time employees like that anymore.

yo i really like how opening ceremony has normal/average looking people working for them. not saying that in a bad way but shopping in a store with attractive staff is intimidating haha i can't be the only one

Dont know how to start this but, your series were much more than the tip of the iceberg for me.
Watching every episode, I realized how much I loved and could really succeed in fashion, although there is an entire pre-trial, from people around me, about it. "When are you going to earn proper money ? " hahahaah .... So , I quit my chemical engineering school in the third year and decided to attend an advertising and marketing graduation. It was not easy but extremely enjoyable and sense of freedom was beyond everything I could imagine ! And so, I also realized that I would love to specialize in fashion marketing .💡
Alexa , I trust you so much, i have no idea how you and Vogue has helped me a lot in this jouney. Thank you so much!! Today, I can only ask you what advice would you give me to follow the fashion industry and which courses would be extremely useful and the most required for this path?

Alexa Chung is my favorite! She is so authentic! I love it!
Alexa is such an awesome host!! So many hosts are shit and annoying and fake, but alexa seems so genuine and nice to everyone she talks to.
I love how this series shows that fashion is not pretentious - I think people are intimidated by the industry but this successfully conveys how it is accessible if you work hard and are honest in whatever role you pursue, just like all businesses really...?!

I can't thank you enough for filming this series and making the fashion industry seem that much more accessible. I have a degree in Translation and I'm studying an MA in Marketing and e-Commerce with the intention of getting into this industry. Now I feel I can actually make it. The series is truly inspiring and motivating, even if some videos don't necessarily deal with what I want to do in the future, I always learn something from them. Again, a huge thank you to the Vogue team and Alexa!

in the business world, having connections is one of THE most important things you should acquire. Sometimes, even your skills or attitude wont matter as long as you've got a good background, its sad, but true.... But i really admire those who didnt come from a well-off background yet they still succeed in the business world.
so content with the entire episode.. coming from medical background and having a great interest in fashion world is kinda two worlds pointing different direction but this has been an ultimate inspiration for us who is seeking a way to the fashion ..

amazing! i'm studying economics as well and it's nice to hear people talk about their experience, because it can be hard sometimes if you don't know exactly what your job is going to be about. This gave a very good overview on the possibilities there are in the fashion industry or like in a process of creating in general. Seeing this inspires me and other people to study hard so you have all the opportunities in the end. sorry for my bad english, greetings from Germany!

I was trying to get some inspiration for selling my merchandising and knew that Vogue would have some good info and maybe some insider information. This was actually really interesting. I love that girls accent and she is beautiful. I see why MTV hired her for a talk show. I might check out some others. This was a great post.

This series is truly amazing! I was already quite happy with the first season because it opens up a world that is still quite closed and secretive. However, I found it too focused on 'the usual jobs' that we know in fashion such as creative directors, stylists and editors. I want to work in fashion since I was 12 years old and but I know that design is not for me. This first episode gave me so much hope to the possibilities and variety of jobs that I can aspire to. Plus, Alexa is a great host: charming, funny and she takes count of what the audience wants to learn about. Can't wait for the next episode! :)
