Could the fashion lawyer be more bubbly? She just seems (as she should) so proud! This is a great series, I must say I learn 2-3 very interesting points per episode. And then for it to be free learning ... well it doesnt get better than that! Thanks British Vogue!
Sorry to be so offtopic but does someone know a way to get back into an instagram account..?
I was dumb lost my password. I appreciate any tips you can offer me!
THE EPISODE IVE BEEN DYING FOR. AS A LAW STUDENT IM VERY GLAD TO SEE THIS!!!!
I want to see something on fashion marketing or branding, jobs in that area :)
branding, yes
Hi! I'm not sure if they're still making an episode of that since Ep 2 was more or less about public relations & advertising! :(
Yes, please!!! I'm studying fashion marketing and it would be inmensely helpful if you did an episode about it.
Thank you so much for these series,. They are really interesting and fun. :)
"FOF" gets better and better every time! great job, Alexa and brit Vogue team!
i want to see you do a piece on models and model agencies and the pay system.
yh me too
+Owen Beharry 100%, even just for educating the general public. I feel like a lot of people just have no clue about how this side of the industry works!
A former friend of mine is an agent at Major in NYC. I don't how the models is paid and how the agent takes back the money they invested in the models. Also, what makes a girl a star. What differentiate Jourdan and Karlie from everyone else?
Yes please! @British Vogue and Alexa, please make this happen!!
+Owen Beharry Exactly! And guys like Lucky Blue Smith, what are the odds for guys to make it big as well, or get paid as much as them?!
WOW thank you for this ! I am getting my degree in sociology next year and then I was thinking of going into law after that. I have always wanted to do something that had to do with fashion and law !! I thought it was not possible and everyone around me laughed at me when I told them about it . However, this video is very inspiring and I think that I'm heading in the right direction ! Thanks Alexa and the Vogue team...you guys are Brilliant !
This series is fantastic and it's amazing that this content is available for free, what would be even more amazing would be if British Vogue could have someone type up Closed Captions for this so that EVERYONE has a chance to enjoy it!
Fashion law seems so interesting, could be a good tv show too. like Suits but girl version =)))
Someone please make this come true 😍
Yessss 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
please don't say ''girl version''! fashion themed things don't have to be girly, guys can like them as well, while suits doesn't have to be a ''man tv show'', and it isn't! but great idea.
+Tea Bundalo I was just going to comment the same thing! but that does seem like an interesting idea haha
+Tea Bundle yeah you're right, men are a huge part of the industry too. its a great mix of both. what I meant was just a different version of the show I guess, just wrong phrasing. ✌🏼
Yes, Leandra! The woman who taught me that it's okay to dress differently and the one who inspires me to push the boundaries sartorially, professionally and personally. I've said it many times before, but her quote: "Because at the end of the day it's about what goes on underneath the turban" is something I tell myself often when I walk out the door and I dread the reaction of others. She probably doesn't even remember it anymore since it is from an old video. But I sure do! Very excited about this next installment. Also, this one gave an extra dimension to the BOF article I read on fashion law. Brilliant! Thanks Vogue and Alexa.
This was fascinating. Wish it was longer, I really love this series.
wow this must be my favorite one of the series. it was really good explained. And even if it was short I felt like they were really exhaustive ☺
Thank you SO much for doing an extract on fashion law with Susan Scafidi!! I am studying law at university next year and had read a little about Susan's work but this has just confirmed what I want to go on to do/study after completing my degree - Thank you Alexa/Vogue!!
That is shocking that US designers don't have their artwork protected! Might have to move to NY to take that fashion law course ahaha
+Ellie Absolutely agree! For my college project we are creating marketing plans, ad campaigns for existing businesses. Some of our ideas get used but there is no name of who was an inventor. I would love to have a note on my portfolio at least that somehow I was related to the campaign creation...
Fashion law seems so interesting, could be a good tv show too. like Suits but girl version =)))
HOW I LOVE THESE! So f'in good, great job from the team who produce this series. So informative and not at all superficial in the depth. This truly shows the brains and seriousness of fashion and people in the industry, relative to preconceived ideas. There is a discrimination for fashion and beauty, when there isn't for football and cars.
Brilliant Series. Look forward to every episode. Intelligent, witty and funny. Love Alexa!

Amazing series :)
I live these documentaries!
Love love love this!!
fun to watch.
First of all I would like to say thank you for not just entertaining episodes but EDUCATIONAL MATERIAL. For many people these documentaries are the only way to stay in touch with innovations on insights of fashion industry and get a little touch of education in this field even if you have 0 opportunities. Apart from the absence of easy access to the info on these topics there is a language gap. A lot of important information about the industry today is available ONLY IN ENGLISH. Important movies like "The next black - A film about future of clothing", "Bill Cunningham New York", "Tom Ford" are not translated, statistics etc. And these episodes would be great material for Global Understanding of what actually fashion is and how it works inside. Language is an issue when it comes to Globalization of fashion. Many talented people outside the UK and US want to relate themselves to this world. Many come to UK and US to get an education in order to be closer. I am one of them. But would a VISA type-1 (student VISA) or absence of citizenship be a barrier for potential employers? How welcoming is the industry for International people with business, physiology or other majors? I hope ALEXA can touch some of these problems in the future episodes.
Alexa Chung's series are PHENOMENAL!!!!
Very informative!
Can't believe that I learned so much through this series
I love this series!!!!!!!
This channel and this series deserve more visibility in the youtube community.

Great video!!! 😊😄😍
Susan is my favorite! I feel like she was talking to me as a friend and mentor! Love this series!!
Excellent experts
This is the best
This is so helpful!
Woww so much coincidence! I'm currently procrastinating from doing my English Feature Article assignment by watching this. The topic of my assignment is CULTURAL APPROPRIATION. I used a quoted definition by Susan Scafidi and to see her in this video and also apart of Fashion Law amazes me!
The best video
thank god no more clickbait!:)) great video
So much inspirations I got from #FOF. Thanks Alexa and Vogue
yeeeesss thanks!
Dream interview: maybe is not strictly fashion, but how about Emily Weiss and a video about the Glossier adventure. To die for! :)
Leandra + Alexa, you're right. You did just make my dreams come true.
Do one on sustainability in the fashion industry
💖nice
Brooke Wall and Alexa Chung... My idols in the same room 😍🙌🏻
Susan might be my favourite person you have profiled/interviewed so far, she looks like an amazing woman.
Loved this episode! If you live in the uk and want to study fashion law Glasgow Caledonian university does a international fashion business course with an optional module(?) on law in fashion which sounds seriously interesting! I've applied to go this year and praying I get in although I'm not so sure I'll choose the law module... 💤
Gotta say this was really interesting. The Fashion Law expert was so enthusiastic she made me want to join the crusade. Lol. Anywho, thx Alexa.
Do something about fashion marketing, and economics!!!!
Stylists and makeup artists are the real creators that enable designers/models to tell the story in a beautiful fashion. Much respect for their hard work.
As a lawyer and fashion blogger, I can't be any happier about this video. Thanks British vogue.
Any lawyers interested in fashion out there? Say hi
Just Ace!
I teach fashion undergrade in London. I will be using this with them on Monday
Has there been an episode on stylists yet?
Susan Scafidi is so adorable!! love her. Surprised London doesn't have a fashion law programme.
Perhaps we can have an online course?? That would be fantastic.
Alexa, send you love from Armenia :)
YAAAY!!!!!
Her quirky words are my favorite
About Modeling!
Alexa looks perfect
YAAASSS
How did Alexa keep it together with that Law woman? and the sunglasses on the head... it's like a comedy sketch!
Can't wait for the post-personality movement.
cool
