    Great watch which I’ll definitely be getting, best review video of it on UA-cam, fantastic shots in what looks like natural lights, cheers mate 👍🏻👍🏻

    Nice watch.
    What I would change/add would be:
    On the fly adjustment Clasp
    Screw on links
    More brushing than poloshing
    A good scratch resistant coating/treatment
    Maybe titanium in stead of steel.
    I suppose it would make it more expensive, but it would be really cool
    Meanwhile I have my resin G-Shocks and a Casio Royale on an after market stainless steel case with sapphire glass. 😁

    I have one arriving in the next week or two. I am looking forward to having all the connectivity in a positive display model. My current square is a negative display, meaning I have barely worn it at all.

    The gold version does not scratch as easily as the silver one, because it’s pvd coated and the silver is not. Go for the gold!

    The only watch i own that doesn't have springbars is my Tactical frog Tudor FX homage (fixed lugs). Even my $1700 titanium g-shock has springbars in the clasp. I'm not worried about it, springbars rarely fail.

    Hi thanks for your video, how would you compare the viewing angles of this b5000 compared to the 5610u and especially the b5600 (all of them with positive display). I have heard that b5600 was better than the 5610u.I would like to have similar viewing angles as an analog watch, to look at it while I can keep my hand on the handlebar of a bike.

      The GMW B5000 has better viewing angle than any other G-Shock square imo✌🏻

    I scratched the mineral crystal on mine. These need to come with sapphire. I can forgive and work past everything else.

    I have one of these,in full metal,the most nice and confortable casio i have,she only have somes problems,the alarm and the countdown are so low that i can heat it,the modul is so protected into metal and plastic,its just realy ilogical or stupid,why dont they put various nivel of sound,low,medium and high,or just like in other casio model an alarm vibration who work great...an other problem is the message you want to remember,for exemple if you remember to call tomorow a 3pm the watch will illuminated tonight a midnight and will never remember you nothing a 3pm....for me casio engeener have to be shame and think in harakiri for that,,,but the watch is very nice...unfunctional but nice

    • @GS-go9qq
      @GS-go9qq 2 місяці тому +2

      It does sit big because the first link on the bracelet doesn't flex so the actual lug to lug is much bigger. But g shocks are meant to look chunky so worth trying it on

    • @WristSaga
      @WristSaga  Місяць тому +2

      Forget about stereotypes, G-Shocks are meant to be worn big. My wrist is 6.5 inches.

    If the elephant in the room is being a scratch magnet, then the better choice seems definitely to be the more recent “recrystallised” version.

    I like it. But it is too expensive in my opinion. They could probably sell it for 200 less and still make good money. The best bang for the buck that Casio offers is the titanium Lineage Waveceptor model with all of these features except bluetooth and saphire glass on top. All for less than 250 bucks. But of course it is not a G Shock

      Come on this watch worth every cent. That titanium MRG B5000 is expensive, that plastic GW 5000U is overpriced too, but not this one. It has amazing steel very good made and better display than 5610u and 5000u.

    $300+ for a hunk of plastic and an O ring seal. LMAO
    When I disassembled mine to replace battery I really felt like a sucker.

    • @Murtagh653

      the plastic actually serves a purpose; to protect from shock. in the all titanium model, they had to redesign the case, if you look closely, it is actually a bunch of different parts slotted together, whereas the stainless steel models are all one piece. they had to redesign the case for the titanium model because if they left out the plastic / resin, they needed a way for the watch to absorb shock without damaging the internal components, so the whole case acts as a kind of shock absorber. unfortunately, the titanium model is also massively overpriced.
      the stainless steel versions are definitely overpriced (for the price they could at least include sapphire crystal) but the plastic inside is not just to cut costs.

      Replace the battery? It’s solar … yes I understand how a solar cell works but I don’t understood why or even how you’d be replacing it.

    • @rockymntdan1
      @rockymntdan1 5 днів тому

      @@anonymoussurname Solar needs a battery. No battery, no power when there's no light. Battery wears down over a couple years or so of recharge/charge cycles.
      So a solar watch isn't "all that", isn't magic and you never need a battery again.

    • @Murtagh653
      @Murtagh653 5 днів тому

      @@rockymntdan1 if kept charged the battery / capacitor should last for 10 - 20 years, unfortunately if you let it run out of charge it tends to degrade and may not hold a charge if you charge it again.

    The basic equipment with China Mod is $300 cheaper. This shows how expensive this "original" is and how much money is made from it. Not with me. The scratches can be removed with a new mod. It doesn't work here.
