    How have you seen God pick up the pieces of your life?

      God picked up from addiction and false life and expectation. God is good all of the Time and out of the Time! He loves us and has picked up me from darkness to light or to His Glory.

      Wow, He’s picked up so many pieces the world probably couldn’t contain the puzzle. He’s Always Faithful! Thank you for this episode! Such a powerful testament of what the Lord can and will do. To Him Be All the Glory! ❤

      Not relevant but I hope this finds you!! I’m a 21 year old worship leader n my local church in South Africa and watch your videos is one of my favourite things to do. Is there any way you can make your videos downloadable!! I struggle with Wi-Fi. And I would like to watch your videos when there is no Wi-Fi

    I am in the midst Rita. I tragecly lost my 41 year old daughter 2 weeks ago! Her twin sister 7 years ago and my daddy 2.5 years ago.
    I am a worshiper as well. Your ministry has held me up.
    I am writing lyrics here and there about the rawness of changing emotions in the midst of so much loss. But, Jesus truly stays the same. My strong tower my shield.
    This has been so hard. I really appreciate the prayers from Rita’s community here as I maneuver thru the pain! ❤️🙏🔥🔥🔥🔥🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

    Such a beautiful God love story….Jesus always knows how He wired us and what our love languages are. He always knows how to speak to each of our hearts in such a precious intimate personal way. 💜

    This is a great conversation. Sounds like the Holy Spirit revealed to her what she needed while maybe all the times at church it was dead. There are a lot of dead churches in America. God spirit is powerful.

    This was a beautiful conversation, it brought me to tears so many times, it made me remember of when I first got saved and would cry every time someone at church asked me how I was doing because I was in disbelief how good and gracious God was to me, they couldn’t understand why I cried. Now 4 years later looking back I know why it seemed odd, sometimes we forget how good God truly is ALL the time in ALL circumstances

    What an AMAZING testimony! I can completely relate to her testimony surrounding losing her mom. Jesus carried me through that trial with my mom too (idk where my strength came from). Oh! When she mentioned that it was 7 yrs, I started to count the time for me and it was 7 months and 11 days. The time she passed was 11:11am.
    Hearing His voice is my favorite sound. His peace that overflowed inside of me during that time was needed desperately & comforted me more than anyone had before or since that time. I love how He gave her revelation! He's truly wonderful! 💯🥰✝️🕊🔥
    Thanks JoDee! And God bless you🥰😃🙏

    Oh, How I can relate to both of you.❤ Losing my mom and best friend. I compare to losing a limb. A cut so deep I have also been weaning myself off of the flesh of that relationship with my mother into the Lord Jesus It’s not something easy to describe. Those words you shared resonated with me. 💝. You two ladies are kindred sisters. I hope to meet one day. Even sing with one day. ❤❤❤

    Mark Joseph wrote a book years ago called
    "Rock and Roll Rebellion" that spoke to that very thing Rita, The music Is the Gospel and we need to be out there with them. There shouldn't be this division between Secular and Sacred, God gave us music, lets use it for His glory and the broken.

    • @RCGWho
      @RCGWho 2 місяці тому

      I'm never quite sure what people mean when they say no division between secular and sacred. It's always artists that say thus in my experience. And it's almost always useful to justify compromise. Scripture teaches seoaratebess and the profane vs the Holy is a recurring theme.

    • @robertkendall1037
      @robertkendall1037 2 місяці тому +2

      @RCGWho you may want to pick up the book, its completely the opposite of that. Music was given to us in creation, as a tool, an instrument, to share God's love for mankind. Artists belong out in the clubs, bars, restaurants and venues, where the broken and needy people are, not inside churches preaching to the choir. Jesus told us to go, not hide inside churches away from those nasty sinners.

      @robertkendall1037 I've just seen so many crossover and it's been detrimental to their souls. It has to be very intentionally about Him and not fame, money, and self-promotion.

    Always been a huge Jo Dee fan but after hearing about her encounter with God years ago, I became an even bigger fan. So thankful you invited her to your podcast. Thankful I got to hear from you at The Relay Worship Conference in Kentucky as well. Both are women changing the world for Christ!! You can't listen to music from either one of you and not feel His presence.

    FIRST: This episode is fire. For me it's the whole idea towards the end that God is moving platforms - comingling .... i loved the Tomlin/needtobreathe story - i can only imagine what that whole venue sounded like with everyone singing How Great is our God - it's just the most beautiful - and then the song shared at the end by Jodee. I came to the end of my self when I sent my then 14 year old son to Teen Challenge and realized that God was calling me to face all my years of running from Him ... i walked into the doors of Celebrate Recovery to work through 12 step recovery from a life marred by being sexualized at 4 years old and never understanding or believing who I truly was to Him. It was not until I began to understand that He names me, not my actions, not the actions done to me, that I began to fully live into the truth of the greatest commandment - to love God and to love others as i love myself. that little AS got my attention: If I could not accept that I was fully loved by my Creator, I could not love myself - and loving others as "myself" took on a whole new meaning. I love your podcasts Rita. They are lifegiving. And then there are your songs, and then there are the spontaneous worship videos. love your honesty and your wrestle .... the new project? incredible. I share your songs. All. The. Time.

    I'm forgiven by grace, so are you. Stop looking at wrongs of people and look up and realize it's Satan deceiving and manipulating them. Hate the evil one, not the one being used. The one being used needs prayer to realize how much God loves them and how good God is. Jesus blood washes it all away. Claim your washing!

    I don't get a sense of her being born again I don't hear her about life before God giving her a spiritual birth and the contrast of her life after.
    And Rita's conversations with God about God going into the mainstream.....
    God is not going to change in the way that He saves people
    Faith comes by hearing and hearing by The Word of God Romans 10:17
