How To Apply Textured & Paintable Wallpaper l Vintage Dresser Makeover With Paint | Furniture Flip

I got this dresser from an abandoned rental where the renter just up and left everything behind. The landlords main goal was to get everything cleared out and in the garbage as fast as possible so they could clean up and move on with the next tenant. Lucky for me, this meant a bunch of free furniture that would otherwise end up in the trash! After an extreme makeover, this dresser is looking different! Do you think it’s cute or not so much? It is currently listed on marketplace for $300 and I am hoping someone is going to love it!

I’m thinking that piece that you secured on the top you could’ve covered with wallpaper also. And I think I would’ve filled the handles and applied hardware.

I would of filled those handles with bondo and drilled a single hole for new hardware.

I was thinking fill the handle holes and apply real hardware to accent the black.

that crossed my mind, the holes were pretty significant though and I wasn't sure if id be able to fill them properly. Maybe with some wood chunks and bondo but I can't stand the smell lol

I would like to see more paintable wallpapers on future projects. Those drawer fronts were super tricky. I think you did great on this tough project.

I like it. Thank god you didn't make it white. I think the only thing that would've made it look better is if you painted the side of the draw handles bronze. It'll add a nice rich contrast. Either way it looks good.
