Titan main got sick of the crayon jokes and stuck his hunter friend into a sniper rifle.
We already had Portable Warlock with Deathbringer Nova and Portable Titan with Vexcalibur (bit of a stretch with that one I guess)
Ager's scepter is Portable Warlock, and any melee boosting exotic is a Portable Titan

@@KiraYoshikageOfficial they do, actually, even though it isn't to keep them alive; it's so they don't go insane. Exo lore states that Clovis Bray originally intended for Exo bodies to be better than a human's in every way; this meant designing them entirely around being robotic in nature. No provisions were made for things that would be essential for a human body like lungs or a digestive system. However, it was learned that once a person's consciousness was transferred into an Exo body, they would go very, *very* insane before long before dying. This was because their human minds were uploaded in their entirety; their minds still went "okay, we need to eat, sleep, and breathe". However, because Exo bodies didn't have to do this, before long, massive panic set in, because their minds believed that they were *dead*. That is to say, their minds went:
"If body not eating, sleeping or breathing, things that are essential for human to stay alive, then that can only mean we're dead! Haven't breathed in a week: what happens if not breathe for an hour? Dead!"
However, their Exo bodies were completely fine, so they wouldn't die. It was essentially a living nightmare. It's why later Exos can eat, sleep and breathe, even if they're not necessary for the Exo body to function, it's necessary for the human mind to be able to do these things to stop it from thinking the body has stopped working. Clovis, being Clovis, believed that designing Exo bodies to be more humanlike, and therefore, incorporate what he saw as flaws that needed to be cut out, felt that this was a waste of time and believed that the psychosis involved with the early Exo mind uploads was a minor setback at best.

I say throw it and it becomes the arc staff that leaves an aoe field and depending on how many kills it gets while in the ground, it'll be fully charged up again to throw when you come to pick up, downside is you're down a weapon and can only use primary and special while it's in AOE mode
That just sounds like Gathering Storm with extra steps.

I thought about that and all I can imagine is it stacks like this:
You charge up the shot and it converts the magazine into golden gun shots. Obviously you have to do some headshots or something in order to make the threshold, it can't just be some kind of freebie hold X to do.
Celestial transforms it into a burst shot, popping all of the mag at once instead of turning it into a super shot.

B: those golden gun shots are really powerful, one shotting a hive knight is pretty good.

that titan exotic glaive can create mini bubble (too bad it's a titan only exotic), deathbringer gives something similar to nova bomb, and then this one. imagine next is an exotic void bow that can create tethers.

The barrel kinda looks like a really long eyasluna which makes sense since that’s the marksman golden gun, but I love that there’s a hunter knife just in front of where your support hand is.

First exotic so far to make my excited about final shape's loot pool.
Only concern with it is, how does it perform outside of the golden gun form. Like does it just act like a regular legendary sniper or is there more to it, cause we kinda had this with ager's scepter but at least that gun had another use without the super drain function.
I dont mind if that is all it does, but was kinda hoping for something more. Especially after being let down by the last two weapon showcases.
I hope it works with the Celestial Nighthawk to make a Izanagi-esque shot. An interesting synergy.

Nighthawk specifically modifies your golden gun super, I have a feeling it's not gonna work on an exotic sniper.

It has a throwing knife mounter under the barrel with a wire running from it. It uses a throwing knife as a battery.
