Pretty sure that was Riven pulling him back from death. It looks like when he died died, he joined the Traveler in "heaven" only from Riven to yank him out of it and be brought back to life. It also looks like zero time has passed for him while for us its been years. Which makes sense for the eternity aspect of the afterlife as most religions describe it. Just a theory, havent had a chance to play yet because unlike a lot of people, Ive learned over the years that launch day is the worst day to try playing, so Im at work.

Solstice helmet(not sure what year), Neotic coyote cloak(A personal favorite of mine and a long time staple of my own drip), the rest seems to be the parade armor from into the light(bungie has yet to reveal how we acquire it now with the hall of champions gone)
Solstice 2019. However, you could only unlock the white light color by doing challenges during that solstice. You can still get the helmet come next solstice, but the light colors would match your subclass.

This cutscene just doesn't play on my second character. The screen is black and I assume that it's "playing" but I don't get to watch it. I only get the storybook cutscene and not the one with my guardian in it. I was really hoping to get screenshots will all my characters.
Destiny servers just loaded me in and theres f****** cayde just standing there.. No cutscene at all. A 4min cutscene. One of the most anticipated ever for me. SKIPPED BY THE DESTINY SERVERS

My favorite detail of the cutscene with cayde is the sound the harmonica makes when he throws it. It just sounds so funny.
