This might not have worked, but I always felt that after Jarrett came back and had those interviews on his way in where he came across as an honest tell it as he sees it kind of guy, he would have been a good match with Jim Cornette and his spiel at the time. I think having them talk well about guys they respect, and badmouth guys they don't, while not being afraid to trash both WCW and WWF about the backstage politics would have been effective. It could have been an interesting tweener role, where they come across as good guys when facing guys like Undertaker because they talk to him with respect and reverence, but then just become total heels against guys like Triple H. And guys could gain and lose their respect over time.

“Is Butterbean okay?”
Interesting fact: that Austin 3:16 truck was given away to a fan.
Mark raking the eyes of butterbean while wearing boxing gloves is hilarious to me
I'm just going to come out and say it
DX In Your House is better than NWO Souled Out
Totally agree
Yeah, though that's kind of like saying a nickel is better than a penny.
This is the best incarnation of Shawn Michaels
I remember watching this show and the only thing I really remember from this show was the light heavyweight title match the Austin vs rock match with Austin stunning dlow brown on the front part of the truck. And I also remember that weird goldust green eggs and ham segment and Owen hart attacking Shawn Michaels after the Ken shamrock vs Shawn Michaels wwf title match.
11:05 ah yes, i couldn't imagine the brutal pain of styrofoam!
That Slaughter over the corner bump was always so brutal looking. Pretty sure he pulled it off in a RAW legends battle royal 10 years later.
damn, was soo hopin this was the INYH ppv where i sat front row center at the Copps Colosseum in Hamilton Ontario. Can't find footage of it.
Amazing story telling I love these bro 100
I remember I had struggled to be into the WWF after Bret Hart's departure, and this PPV at the time for me was so boring, I literally don't think I ever watched it in full and stopped watching WWF for quite some time.
That must have been painful. I'm guessing you were young or very dedicated? I've been there.
@@savagecatgt Very dedicated I'd say yeah. I was a huuuge fan of Bret Hart, Undertaker and Steve Austin most notably. So with Bret Hart out, Undertaker barely around at that time due to the Kane storyline and Steve Austin in a mid card program. It did feel like the Shawn Michaels/DX program for a while.
25:22 Fun fact, when me and my Brother watched this in 2006 back in the day when WWE 24/7 Classics on Demand was a thing. We would quote this on the regular. 🤣
I know the attitude Era started after the screw job but this felt new generation
Great video. What are your thoughts on Vince retirement?
The two faction ppvs nWo Souled Out and DX: In Your House just don't have the Jam with the fans.
Hey bios will the last episode of reliving the war be wrestlemania 17? If so, that would be a perfect ending.
Theoretically could go through the entire Invasion angle, but not sure anyone wants that.
It will likely be the final Nitro.
@@jackcarraway4707 the final nitro is one week before mania 17
We got two wooorrrrddddsss for ya.... Wrestling Bios!!!!! Yo ass better calllllllllllll somebody!!!!
Slaughter was 49??? He looked old af
One of the best HBK attires
