You got that right! I was losing hope fast as mu troubleshooting skills are not the best but from time to time I get lucky even when the odds seemed stacked against me.
About those security screws, they are not Chinese invention and have been in electronics for years to prevent people going in places they shouldn't for company's safety. People tend to sue them when ever they thing that they can get money for being stupid. When I first encountered them those drive heads where not that easy to come by, but I got a kit long time ago as I work with all kind of electronics. I just felt it to be fair that even the Chinese might do some undesirable things, this wasn't a one and perfectly understandable. Note the warning on washing machine do not wash the baby with the laundry. For about repair, I have a different problem and that might be related to planetary gear drive. Haven't got that far yet.
Thank you for the comment. Point well taken. In truth, I've only seen these funny screw heads the past 10 years or so. My apologies to the Chinese. I also agree that stupidy is hard to auto-correct. In recent times, some folks are really losing the plot.
@@Tobinindustrial I just made that comment that if others read it they would be prepared to get those bit. Those can be bought either individually or as a kit. I have a normal size and ended up buying extra long shaft for the mixer. Found out that the motor is gone. These heads are actually quite good, there are some that can only be tightened as they slip to opposite direction. Just that you know if you come across some.
I do appreciate the information and the clarity. It is refeshing when I see people make a comment and be constructive and informative instead of nit picking about something non related to the video subject...
