@Jason Ullerich He left the priesthood long ago to marry the woman (a former nun) he now accuses of causing the death of his son. I'm glad he left the priesthood cos he's some piece of work. The catholic church has enough problems with rogue criminal clergy without this guy. The second wife, instead of having his back, better watch her own.

He's no longer an RC priest. They both left the religious life in order to marry but over the course of the marriage, he cheated on her with prostitutes and frequented massage parlours too. She booted him out and he's such a narcissist that he blames her for the break up and is such a despicable individual that he's still trying to score points with over this by blaming her for their son's demise. I think his second wife needs to rethink her standing in this relationship cos I'm sure he hasn't done with his philandering days yet.

"I was told that I would not be judged on this show". I'm pretty sure no one told him that. He came to this show with the expectation that Dr Phil and everyone would take HIS SIDE and validate him in being the poor innocent victim.

Our son committed suicide. It was so painful and caused so much pain. However we looked towards Jesus for love and support. Jesus as been by our side every step of the way. We have in fact grown stronger in our love for each other.

I agree with Dr. Phil that putting out other people's candles doesn't make his burn brighter. I'm glad he got put in his place, because it's pretty evident that he hasn't learned anything since losing his other son to suicide.

As a person who lost her father to suicide the internal dialogue of the survivors is one of ,' Why did I not do more?, why could I not save him?, why didn't I save him? Why didn't I see the pain and thus save that person etc.?' It is one of the hardest things to give yourself forgiveness!!! The guilt you feel, forever, is palpable, debilitating at times. I can't possible understand how ANYONE could ever blame someone for the suicide death of another. It is unbelievable that a father, x husband could possibly throw out these heartless comments. I am absolutely gobsmacked!!! I hope his heart can see the light at some point. He should remember a basic principle, 'If you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all!!!' I'm sure his pain is extreme too, however trying to annihilate people with your words, because of your hurt, is unacceptable. Gods speed to their son and his brother. To his mother I am so sorry for your pain. I hurt for each of them, however his nastiness is unforgivable.

I know everyone is crushing the guy in the comments, but the reality is that he won’t look back or think twice about it. Mentally and emotionally he’s already moved on and he’s not ever going to look back. People like him aren’t concerned about what others think. We should be more focused on supporting the victims rather than expending any more energy on that guy.

Hope the wife and son wash their hands of that man! And Peter is a sociopath. Sociopaths do not really love their children as contrary to their proclamation of love to them. To sociopaths, they just view their children as possessions with no regard for the latter feelings and feel entitled to do as they please with their possessions.

If we put who's right or wrong aside, it's clear that they had issues long before they seperated. That boy had depression which is probably caused by a troubled home when i see how ruthless these 2 parents go at eachother.
Kids having to listen to parents who hate eachother leads to a miserable life.

I feel for their son. It’s clear he’s badly hurt emotionally and psychologically by these events. It really got to him and I can’t even imagine what it must be like living with that day in and day out- the resentment, disappointment and anger towards his father and the frustration that he just won’t listen (the father). If he wants any relationship with his son, he needs to really listen to him and ask him what he really wants from him and take his emotions seriously. Accept his son’s feelings and go to therapy with him, but not push anything either. It’s a very delicate situation that needs to be treated very seriously. The son needs closure and to feel like he is important in his father’s life and to feel loved.
