I really loved all the ideias! First, everything is in one place and you keep track of everything thing. So, if someone says you forgot to call a student's parent or you didn't do something you were supposed to, everything is written down and you can avoid problems. I loved it!! You have incredible ideias!
Wow!!! I love it! I am a speech therapist for the past 20 years and well I have tried every system you can imagine. I think this teacher bullet journaling is AWESOME! I too work in an inner city so writing things down in my journal will help me so much and also keep me organized. Thank you for sharing. Have a great school year!!!!
I wanted to come back to this video tell you that I've been using your teacher dashboard idea since December and it has really made my life better. Rather than using post-it notes, I'm actually including the different components of the dashboard into the bottom half of my weekly bullet journal spreads. Next year, I'm going to make a full-year planner that has these dashboard elements built in because they are just SO useful to me. Thank you SO MUCH for making this video, which is seriously helping me keep my busy teaching life in order!!
You have no idea how useful this was for me. This is my very first year teaching, and I need a way to keep organized. Your ideas helped me so much. I have attempted to bullet journal my daily life and have failed. But, I want to give this a try for my teacher life. So, yes. Very helpful. The dashboard is brilliant! :)
I discovered Bullet Journals late in the school year and have been thinking about using one for my teaching. You are right, there aren't a lot of posts about actual teacher BuJos, so this is a true gem!!! I can't thank you enough for posting this eagerly anticipated video. I taught high school for the past 7 years and will be starting my new job as a middle school math teacher on the 29th! There are soooo many new things to get used to, I wasn't sure I could handle trying to use a non-traditional teacher planner, but I feel much more confident because of this video!
I LOVE your bullet journal. I teach English at the college level and have always felt that there must be some ideas on the web for better organization of materials. I have watched numerous videos, looked on Pinterest, read blogs...you name it, but didn't find much to help. I plan to make a bullet journal this weekend incorporating most of your ideas. The teacher dashboard is a FABULOUS idea. Thank you so much for sharing! I'm now a new subscriber to your channel.
Love this! Thank you - I am a HOMECHOOL TEACHER of a 8 yr. old, 10 yr. old (special needs), and a 16 yr. old. I especially love your dashboard but will also use many of your ideas in your bullet journal. I love that it is a "work in progress" because homeschooling is always changing as our student learns and develops into something new. We don't school the same as public schools so it's awesome that this is adaptable to change throughout the year. Love love LOVE your future log!!!! Going to look for your update. :)
This is an excellent overview of your teaching journal spreads. I've been researching for myself and today was researching journaling for a friend. The only thing I would add for my friend was to have the goals, moods, future log added to this so that she needn't have two journals to maintain. Otherwise, I hope your spreads have been working for you this past school year. Thank you for sharing.
Oh wow. Only just seen this video but it had blown my mind. This afternoon I'm starting to make mine. Such good ideas. I start back in about 4 weeks so plenty of time to get it sorted. Thank you for this!
Whoa! I've watched this video now 3 times, and JUST NOW realized how helpful that pacing calendar will be this year. Each time I've watched, you blown this veteran away! Have been a subscriber for awhile.
Hello! I have been using a bullet journal for everyday life for about 5 months and I loved all of your Teacher Bullet Journal Ideas so much that I have started a new one ready to go into my third year of teaching. I have copied nearly all of your spreads and shown your teacher dashboard to all my friends!! This year I am working as a supply teacher so I am also including a spread to track which agencies I work for, which schools I attend, what my daily rate is and contacts for the consultants. I also want to include a page with quick and easy lesson plans or teaching activities so if planning hasn't been left for me I don't have to come up with something on the spot. Thanks for the inspiration!
Loved the share!!!! I made a binder for my teacher planner this year but I love the idea & size of this one. One thing(forgive me if you said this in the video & I just missed it-I was cleaning out the junk drawer in my kitchen while I was listening) that I think might be helpful is to include a spread for discipline. A place where you record the child's name, whether you talked one-on-one, gave them a detention & they served it or not, issued a warning, wrote a referral, sent them to guidance, etc. I use this kind of thing to make sure I've followed all the steps I have to before writing a referral. I also keep a phone log of my conversations w/ parents. And also a section for conferences so I remember. Loved your journal! Hope these suggestions help. And hope your school year goes great!
Thank you so much! I did put in a page for a home contact log, but I love the idea about a spread dealing with discipline. I definitely have to incorporate that somehow. Hope you have a great school year!!
I use mini post-its in my seating chart spread for daily discipline or other notes (like if the ESOL teacher stayed and helped them). Then, I transfer them all to my Notes app on my Mac to help when writing my monthly parent update emails (a new thing I just started for this year).
I teach high school, and I use the Master Slim for my teacher BuJo. I made a spread that includes all of the standards we have to cover (in addition to the curriculum map) as a check-off so I know what we still haven't discussed. We also use the Marzano teacher evaluation system, so I have all of the elements listed for reference. My seating charts are also in my BuJo opposite my attendance log for the students. While learning names, it has really helped me. I also have my gradebook in my BuJo, and I made a key specifically for the accommodations students have (who has double-time, who is ESOL, etc). I started keeping my lesson plans it, but I have already fallen behind with it (we are three weeks into school already). LOVED your Bloom's Taxonomy design. I was thinking of incorporating it at well, but I hadn't come up with a format I liked. I might tweak yours some and throw that in there too. Thanks!!
I love you BuJo! I currently study at uni to become this teacher and you layout is so helpful for my work semesters while studying and for later when I'll be finished! ☺
Thanks for sharing. Already saved your video for reference, as I'll have to make my own planner again soon. Your pacing spread for the different units is a really great idea, so is the dashboard. I'll surely incorporate those in my own planner :)
Your video was great help! I used a lot of these ideas. Thank you! What else I included? I also added Field trip log, which also addisonally adds a Class money handeling spread. I have a spread dedicated to My contribution - where, as it says, I note down things I have contributed to overall school activities or such. That comes really handy when we have our annual assessment interview. I've included Admin tracker, since I have a lot of administrative paperwork to fill out. Stundent feedback log - we don't grade much and I teach five different lessons, so I hope it gives me better overview what classes have been given feedback lately. Also, also a Commuication log to note down all contacts with parents (time, method, reason and notes) and an ABC chart/log Last, but not least, I made a Disagreements log. People working together in many times stir up some disagreements. Hopefully this spread will let emotions out and bring the facts forward.
Hi! I just found your video and I have to say I love the idea!! I'm totally going to use the Teacher Dashboard spread, that's such a great idea! And colorcoding classes is also great. I also teach a lot of different classes, and I had yet to find a way to identify them in my planner. Thank you so much!
Great video! I know the struggle of lack of resources! I'm a full time working, full time student, mom, and wife. Resources are hard to come by for my type of schedule!
You got me hooked on the Zebra Mildliners, but every time I have tried to use them in my Leuchtturm 1917 A5 BuJo, they have bled through significantly. Did you have this problem when you started using them? If I were to do your colored Bloom's Taxonomy with my Mildliners, the backs of the pages would be unusable.
I was just setting up my third teacher bullet journal. I can send you pictures if you want to! But it is actually in catalan but I think It’s pretty self explainarory :)
This may sound silly, but i loved your Bloom's graphic, but I can't find it anywhere with verbs and activities broken down. do you remember where you found it?
One question - I usually use an A5 sized ring planner. Have you ever thought of designing your pages and selling on Etsy? I'll be your first customer! 🤓
The teacher dashboard is gold! I've been a teacher for 21 years, and still you managed to surprise me
That Bloom's Taxonomy page is absolutely beautiful. Can't stop admiring it!!!
I've been teaching for 13 years and the teacher dashboard is a fantastic idea!
I really loved all the ideias! First, everything is in one place and you keep track of everything thing. nice work. I especially love the dashboard, teacher absence, and things students say pages.

This has been one of the most helpful videos I've seen on teaching bujos! Thank you!!
I love the idea of Bloom's taxonomy. Definitely going to put it in my BJ. Thanks!
I LOVED the Teacher"s Dashboard pages! Great Idea!

That bloom's taxonomy pyramid you made blew my mind!! I'm totally doing it and put it in my lesson plan binder!!
OMG! Teacher dash board!!!! Pure gold
I like and will use ALL of your spreads. Thank you for this video.

Brittany, I'd love to see a video of how you use yours :)
I love your set up! Looks fantastic!
This was AWESOME! I cannot wait to start my journal for my student teaching.

Really liked the Bloom’s. I added Maslow’s
OMG. You have inspired me. I love all your ideas and I'm keeping in mind your advices about. Thank you so much and I love your video.
This was so useful as I start my teacher training in September and am setting up my bullet journal!
Your video was great help! I used a lot of these ideas. Thank you!

Very useful and I'm doing my first year and I already bullet journal for my daily life. So this is right up my alley thanks!!
I am not a teacher, but your layout shows a very organized manner to keep up with you schedule! 2 thumbs up!
Thank you so so much for sharing!! I start my first year as a teacher next week and I'm already soooo excited :)
it´s awesome!!! I am in maternity leave but I´m looking forward to be back to school when I saw it:) Thank you!!!

Thanks for sharing 👍👍👍
Thank you so much! Very helpful!
I found your channel this morning, and it's really great! YES, this video is helpful. Thank you :D
Thank you so so much for sharing.
Great video! I know the struggle of lack of resources! I'm a full time working, full time student, mom, and wife. Resources are hard to come by for my type of schedule!
Great ideas!
This bullet journal is amazing! My husband teaches, so I will share your video with him.
So great!
This is amazing!!!

I've never had an issue with the Mildliners and I used them to color in that Bloom's Taxonomy page. Are you pressing too hard on them, perhaps?
I was just setting up my third teacher bullet journal. I can send you pictures if you want to! But it is actually in catalan but I think It’s pretty self explainarory :)
This may sound silly, but i loved your Bloom's graphic, but I can't find it anywhere with verbs and activities broken down. do you remember where you found it?
I love it. You make me want to bullet journal instead of EC :-)
I want to start keeping a teacher bullet journal for PD and meeting notes to have them in one place as well as a PD log
What is your name on Pinterest? Love this!!!
Do you have a picture of your full Bloom's Taxonomy page? I've been waiting for you to post this video since seeing that picture on Instagram!
Do you ever have problem with Mildliner pens smearing the ink? What kind of black pen are you using? Gel? Ball point? Permanent ink pen?
One question - I usually use an A5 sized ring planner. Have you ever thought of designing your pages and selling on Etsy? I'll be your first customer! 🤓
Hi Alex can i call you that? is it cheaper of amazon than at a store. That taxonomy is awesome
