Agree on tencel - it's my favorite for tops and bottoms, feels and looks so luxurious but strong. I dye natural fiber fabrics and it takes dye like a dream. I enjoyed this video, thank you!
Thank you for this video! I am starting my sewing journey and have made a couple of tops from quilting cotton, but I was looking to learn more about fabric selection before investing in my next project. This is exactly what I was looking for and has great explanations!
This was an awesome video. Very helpful too. You have and extensive knowledge of fabrics and how they are woven and I found that so interesting. I'm glad you included quilting cotton. I have made a couple of tops out of it and I love how they look and feel. And yes, it is very easy to sew with. Thank you for sharing your tips!
Heather thank you for this. I'm starting to sew garments this is a great information. I love the Tencel pants. I also love the Blue skirt. Where did you get the pattern? Thanks again.
Very helpful especially during these times when you cant get into a fabric store and need to buy online. I never know exactly what all of the types are!
Hi Heather, love your video except I didn't get the name of the fabric for the t-shirt (white) ? Could you give me that please? I've subscribed because you are much more personable than the other videos, and teach on a perfect level for me to learn ;) thanks so much!
