A nice video, as always. There is the famous saying that one should always try to be kind to others, because everyone is going through a secret battle. I am the type who, once I get to know someone or like someone, I am very frank and candid about my life and inquire about theirs. People often tell me a lot about themselves that they don't share with others. This was true when I was teaching, and is still true now as I have many friends much younger than I am. I have met the golden boys before - those whose lives look pretty perfect, and sometime they are. But this topic of yours always reminds me of the famous poem "Richard Cory" by Edwin Arlington Robinson. If you are not familiar with it, read it. You will be impressed. Cheers, Nathen.
+nexttsar we used to have a different definition of golden boy when I worked at the center... a golden boy there was someone that could do no wrong and was meant to save the company haha they never lasted long. Anyhow, I definitely will look up the poem you mention later this afternoon!
Thank You! When I first started, I was making videos that I thought would go over well. I finally realized that the only way that my videos can actually do any good is if I change it up, and make them what I need :)
I am sorry about that news Nathen. That has got to be tough to digest. Can I ask what exactly you do for work? You can't be hard on yourself for not feeling 100% fulfilled at work. Some parts of life are stepping stones to better places. Your job is merely a means of funding your passions where you CAN be yourself 100%. Hang in there buddy. You have a friend here :)
+SammyKroc oh, I am very happy with my job, my main point was I’m tired of changing how I feel for people. Work is the least of it now that I’m working from home :)
Ah! Glad to hear it. Yeah when i worked as a server, I basically painted on smile on my face and pretended how put together and happy I was. It starts to wear on you for sure.

Thank you so much for documenting this on video! :) Sometimes I think I'm alone, so thank you.
