The real fact is, Igorot people from the high Mountains of the cordillerans are among the best indegenous group or tribe in our country. Whatever aspects of job they perform , they always shines, because they are hardcore on their task. Excellence is their lowest standard.
FBI!!!
@@jamesboy2017 Full Blooded Igorot hehehehe. 👍
If you really do some digging you'll find that our filipino people are related to the moors of africa. In fact that is how islam came to the filipines. At one point most of the filipines were muslims. We had saltans and everything. We called our selves moros (meaning moors) i tell my filipino friends this all the time. Even look at our swords, there is one that closely resemble middle eastern swords. The moros lead many revolts against the spaniards.

@@unclejay9205 wrong info.. Moro word came from Spanish... pre colonial Philippines were pre dominant Hindu and Buddhism culture especially in lowlanders... I suggest to you look at Spanish history.. how Spaniards mentioned about pre colonial Philippines.
Just found out that igorots are very similar to us nagas of India. And ifugia and Abra tribes are just like my tribe angami naga. Love from India.
We must've the same ancestors..
One ancestor
But not similar dialect,it's because it's also mountainues place

I am Pure Ibaloi and i am so proud being IGOROT, I am so thrilled very Happy that we have Igorot Vloggers we have to spread PEACE and LOVE not hated.....WE are the same FILIPINO , salasalamat sa ading...matagotago ka sa, God Bless❤❤❤
Iyaman! ❤️
I don't have an Igorot blood but I was born here in Baguio.
Whenever people from the lowlands would call me an Igorot, I'm proud of it 😊
Thank u for embracing it ❤
Have been listening songs sang by sisters from Igorot, I asked one of my friend from Philippines, also comparisons between Nagas, from North East India and Igorot, very interesting, probably we're from the same race. I'm from Nagaland, North East India. May be one day we may come much closer through Christian missions. By the way we've 16 recognised tribes
Hi. Thank you for sharing. I have several comments about our similarities as well and it is truly interesting. Maybe someday, i can visit ur place to do a research on this. :)
Hi, I'm from India (Nagaland). It is believed that we are mountain people who in search of settlement resided in India. Our traditional attires, cultural and physical appearance are quite similar.
You can goole"Nagaland India".
Thank you for sharing. Indeed, we have so many similarities. Maybe we can do further research about this.. :)
Yes we are similar madam, hope we unite someday.
Igorots are not of as tall stature as nagas, Igorots are petite.
read chinese history about ancient people in Southern China as known as "Hundred Yue" in english term "Hundred Barbarians".. mass migration ancient people in Southern China was during Han dynasty conquest and genocide against ancient people in Southern China.. look at Igorot people in Philippines consider pure blooded Austronesian ancestry and native people in Taiwan and Naga people are related each other and same cultures.
I'm a naga from northeast India... This is the first time I hear of Igorots and the kind of humiliation and racism facing in their own country just like the nagas faces racism here in India... I hope one day they will accept us as equal while we breed n grow upholding our proud cultures n traditions....
I agree. Thank you for sharing ur thoughts ❤
There are lots of Igorots performing all over the world showing our tradition all kinds of Cordilleran's styles of Native Dance and they love it.I am so proud to be an Igorota. 👍💖
Thank u! Please help us spread awareness to our fellow filipinos 🙏
I've been visiting (official/tour visits) every country and discovered met Igorots there. Igorots are around the globe. Mostly Igorots that I have encountered are very welcoming accommodating, and generous. They hve good hearts. Intelligent, beautiful /handsome inside and out.
Thank you very very much for the very kind words! Much appreciated ❤
@@MomshieJhen looking forward to more videos and photos of Igorot ladies and men wearing Igorot attire. Thank you ma'am Jhen
Yes Paulo and Robin are proud of Igorots they themselves ars proud as Igorots. Accdg to Paulo his ultimate dream future is to live in Mt province where he could rest and help preserve nature and do some crafts, furnitures and more.
2 of my relatives are married to Igorots from different provinces... one of them have really nice features.
Even as a city dweller I can sometimes identify an Igorot. That may be coz I had a handfull of Igorot classmates growing up,lol. But once I had a classmate who looked like half of something else with light brown eyes and really pinkish delicate skin, I just realized she's an Igorot when she would tell us stories of her granny's tradition. Most Igorots I know personally are beautiful, so yes, be proud of who you are.🙂
Thank you for the beautiful words :)
wiiiie!! Thank you very much, Ms. Jen!! Will definitely share this to everyone!!
Aivonn Mari Omo please do. Thank u.

I am also an igorot from one upland municipality of ilocos sur...and i am proud and still amazed of our culture...
Wow very well said indeed!. I love the way you presented! and how you explained very well was so clear and understandable. How you speak in English is amazing because it truly shows that Igorots are good in English speaking.
Everything you said is true and I am proud Igorota like you although I was born and grew up in Acupan mines, Itogon Benguet but our root are from Ifugao.
Mabuhay tayong Igorots or Cordelliarans and proud filipinos . We are all filipinos it doesn’t matter where we come from!
I agree! We are all Filipinos.. thank u for watching and expressing your thoughts! Matago tago taku am-in! ❤
I love people of cordillera. And I love igorot.. I love the song I love everything about them. 💗💕
I remember when I was in elementary and high school some of my classmates are actually laughing at me and telling me "Igorot ka? hahaha" I don't know what's wrong pero I'm so proud being Igorot! 💓 pinanganak po ako sa manila pero I'm visiting bontoc every summer.
Alexandra Empress just continue visiting your roots dear.. ❤️
Same also from Bontoc. but was born here in the city. Baka nman kse mestiza ka siz kaya di sila makapaniwala. HAHAHAH

Maraming salamat po ❤
When i speak ilokano in other place, i told i'm not an Ilokano but an Igorot. I only speak Ilokano because it's our common dialect in the North. Thanks for sharing about US Igorots to the whole world for them to learn and understand about our culture and not to be confused or misinformed.
me too
Same here most especially now that I live in Canada. They are surprised that I am Igorota coz I have fair skin too.I am a proud FBI(full blooded Igorot)!
I was born into a family of mixed races my parents being mixed race as well. My Father 1/3 Spanish 1/3 Filipino and 1/3 Mexican and my mother being a Chinese- Filipino 50-50. With that said i was born in the Philippines and raised in the Middle East i really did not identify myself with a certain culture or province here in the Philippines.
In the year 2009 I was given the opportunity to live and study in Baguio city for my college degree. Little did i know that would love the environment and the people so much that my best friends are all Igorots from all parts of CAR. I have immersed myself so much in the culture that they would often say to me that I could be an adopted Igorot. My only regret is that I didn't learn the different dialects.
From then on when asked where i am from in the Philippines i would proudly say Benguet or Baguio, even though my parents provinces are Rizal, Pangasinan and Pampanga.
Indeed! You are an adopted Igorot Nicholai! ❤ Thank you for being proud of it.. :)
regardless of what culture u came from,, living in cordillera is enough to make u a witness how Great Igorots cultures are ...
Complicated identity🤣
Some people telling they have blood from Spanish because of their family name, but they don't know that Governor Claveria(appointed here in the Philippines as governor) passed a law that all Filipino must select a family name from spain begin at A-Z.
@@dailyviewstv5323 , correct, filipinos were forced to change their names not by blood
Beautiful video po.. my wife is 100% Igorot too my wife’s father is from Ifugao & her mother is from Sagada like you.. as a child she was in both provinces all the time but once she was elementary they raised her in Itogon until college when she go’s to University in Baguio!

Great video
Just saw your video which is very informative about us Igorots. So good of you to check those misconceptions. I can relate with your experience when I attended a regional training at Laoag City when we belong to region 1 then and somebody said I will be able to see an FBI tomorrow coz their ate participants from Mt. Province and I told her you already saw one and she said where and I said here I am a Full Blooded Igorot and she was so surprised and said you don't look like one. You looked like an Ilocano. I said I am an FBI and true when I asked her why her misconceptions about us being dark, with tails, thick lips, ugly etc... was her idea about us. I love your video and am so glad that I found a kababayan who is as proud as I am being a Full Blooded Igorot. I am from half Barlig and half Natonin. I am residing and working at Barlig, Mountain Province which I love so dear, a beautiful and peaceful place to live in.
Judith MATIB goodmorning! Indeed! It is a misconception that needs correction. We are all beautiful in different ways, even other races like the Aetas but they need to know the difference. Thank u for appreciating this video kailyak ay ifiyallig ❤️

Well explained Sister.
WATCHING from morning star Lower LOURDES subdivision.mabuhay mga Igorot..l love you all.from BANAO .GOD BLESS US ALL.
A similar incident happened to us way back in high school. We were on a field trip and we stopped by Subic bay to walk around when a group of ladies noticed our bus with "Benguet" on it. They approached and asked us where they could find an Igorot. I was so shy that time and couldn't utter a single word, when suddenly, my companion who is also an FBI, a tall and handsome guy told them that they should go and check out our bus. I was so upset that my companion didn't say that we are Igorots.... I can't imagine the 'awe' these ladies could have had if they knew we are Igorots.
❤❤❤
