Cebuano ako jan ako nagaral ng college sa University of baguio.lahat ng barkada ko igorot, sa Baguio ako natutung kumain ng pinikpikan,uminom ng gin 4x4,gsm blue at Ang dko makalimutan ay itag nagimas,Ang saya saya ko noon sa mga barkada kung igorot.
Haha same tau naimas met dyay pinikpikan n may etag Ken sayote,woooohh then they are almost speak English especially Igorot they hard to speak tagalog but un eng very clear and smart proud Igorot dhil Igorot n lakay quh😘😘
May nameet ako bisaya sabi niya n igorot may bontot, maitim , kulot daw... pero ng makita ako di naman daw. Sabi ko sa isip ko buti pa mga igorot bundok maatas ang edukasyon alam namin na tao lahat ang tao sa pinas, alam namin ang ethnic groups ay tao pa din pati aeta. Pasyal sila dapat Sa baguio para sa kaalam. Hehe.

Born in Baguio City and raised in La Trinidad, Benguet. I appreciate the concentration of the documentary in Baguio City. Yes, Indeed, we have a special culture that is unique from the rest of the country. People visiting our place should also learn to explore our customs and traditions aside from experiencing the cool breeze along with the pine trees in our area. One thing that I remind visitors is to please leave your automobiles behind as the city is already saturated with land vehicles. It is better to roam around the city by foot para exercise. Do you agree with me?

2nd time ko na sa Baguio, 2nd time ko nung Dec 7-11. Tlagang nakaka wala ng problema at nkaka relax yung Baguio swear. Sobrang peaceful at respetado tlga mga tao. Kaya sa tuwing papauwi na kami, tlgang sobrang bigat sa dibdib na may luha pa sa mata. I really love Baguio so much 😘😘

baligtad naman ako, wala na akong intention na bumalik pa sa Baguio, so congested, nakaka stress mamasyal downtown Baguio, hirap or walang parking area, not worth yong time at gastos. mas maganda pa mag unwind sa global city.
Cordilleran people never ceases to amaze me. I really miss this region specially Baguio and Sagada. 😘😘😘 Though I am Visacol (term use for Masbatenos) my mother told me that my father from cagayan who is ilocano, is part igorot and when I went in cordillera, i was really felt at home. Nature is everywhere and the culture is still pretty much alive. When I come back in the Philippines, Ill make sure to visit the region again. 🥰🥰🥰
Maraming turista na nagrereklamong hindi na raw maganda ang munti naming syudad. Well if it's not for them who keep insisting on bringing with them their cars and their bad habits when visiting in the first place malaki ang impact sa lugar.
And please, sa mga mayayaman jan sa baba wag na kayo bumili ng properties dito dahil lang kaya nyo. Over populated na po, wag na kayo makipag-agawan sa limited space na. Maraming lugar sa Pinas na maganda at malawak kung saan pwede nyo idisplay ang inyong kayamanan. Hindi rin maapreciate kasi yung ganong kultura ng pabonggahan dito sa amin. Thanks.

korek ka dyan kaya dapat yung local Gov.ay medyo maghigpit sa pgbigay ng lisensya at sana limitahan din yung napupunta dyan sa Baquio. sayang kasi nawawala na yung tunay na ganda ng Baquio noon.

thank you sa documentary na ito. i grew up din dito sa Baguio in the ibaloi tribe. nung pagkabata ko, we usually go sa mountains to observe and practice our cultures. pero malaki na rin ang influence ng mga taga low lands kaya merong mga changes na din. but i still want the simple way of living at noong konti pa ang tao dito sa city

Grade school 90's pangarap ko ang Baguio mapunatahan. It took 25 yrs of waiting then nakita ko ang Burnham, Mines View, Bell Tower at Camp John. I found piece of myself. It was the moment I felt alive, I felt me being compassionate to myself. Babalik ako ng Baguio and this time kasama na mga anak ko.
Ewan ko ba kapag napupunta kami ng Baguio, napaka gaan sa pakiramdam. Tila ba puno ka ng relaxation at pag asa. Sana matapos na ang pandemya at nang makapanik na muli. ❤️

Hindi ko alam kung ano ang meron ang Baguio. Pero lagi ko iniisip na pumunta o manirahan dito. sobrang mayaman ang kanilang kultura at parang napaka sagrado ng bawat lugar kahit na pa madaming tao/ turista sa lungsod. Hindi ko ipagpapalit ang taunang pagpunta ko dito sa kahit na anong lugar sa Pilipinas.

It is time to recreate and rehabilitate Baguio, our place is not just a "Summer Capital" for the tourists, it is also a home for us. For those who will visit Baguio let us respect it as we respect our home full heartedly.
I always go to Baguio whenever i feel stress, tired and burn out from work, I can say that Baguio is my comfort place.

Born and raise in Baguio. The 80’s are the best, camp John Hay 👍 before, Baguio is like a little America, not much cars, you can walk all day long, from your home, to market, and ride a taxi, or jeepney. People of Baguio are very polite, similar with Japanese. Shy and humble. Love My Hometown we’re I grew up. Sad to say. I can’t smell anymore the fresh Pine trees, 😢

I miss the old Baguio, yung hindi overcrowded, amoy pine tree at di traffic. I miss walking up and down Seasion Road na hindi elbow to elbow with other people. I miss the simple life in the City. I miss home.... Sana soon makauwi na ulit.

I miss baguio city so much..i lived there for 6 years and finished my highschool at BCHS Loakan Annex...and our rented house was near at the airport..i will visit baguio again when i come home to the phil..that’s for sure❤️❤️❤️

May disiplina ang tunay na mga nakatira dyan sa Baguio ayaw nila malakas magpa tugtog kakatokin ka nila para sabihin paki hinaan, ung mga asal garapal dyan na nakatira karamihan galing baba. Pansinin niyo sa wet market nila kahit magbulungan kayo ng kasama mo rinig mo kasi di maingay kompara sa ibang mga markets then sa pilahan wag kang sumungit bawal na bawal pagsasabihan ka nila na pumila ka ng maayos para wala kang maagrabiyadong tao. Lastly na na obserbaham ko kausapin mo sila ng talagalog sasagotin ka nila ng english 😆😆 kaya kung ilocano ka mag ilocano kana lang kung di ka marunong mag english, magagaling kasi sila tas very humble pa kahit millionaire sila nakikitungo sila ng maayos pa din down to earth pa din sila.

When i went there 2 years ago, it was not thesame Baguio i used to know. Super crowded na as in dmo ma recognize yung dating beauty and purity. Yung amoy pino(pine tree) na gustong gusto ko e nawawala narin. Hopefully ma restore & i prioritize nila nature duon, hindi pera pera pera lang iniisip nila
crowded because almost all tourists from lolands bring their own car, lets say almost all cars you see in traffic are from the lowlanders. Myghad what a big breath we had when covid came, we people of baguio can enjoy our city itself without the annoying crowds and traffic with minimal trash. Baguio is all goods if only the number of tourists are controlled.
i love baguio so much ive decided to move there for college. id love to experience living there kahit for a few years lang.

I wasn't born in Baguio, didn't even grow up there. I was fortunate enough to live there for a few years, though. I miss my weekend early morning walks to and from Mines View. I also miss the cool climate, but I miss the warmth of the people the most. I love Baguio and have always treated it as my 2nd home. I left a piece of my heart there. ❤️

I am an Ibaloi and it's so sad to see my dialect slowly dying.. halos lahat na ng mga anak ng mga kasabayan ko ay ilocano or tagalog na ang tinuturo sa kanila.. Igorots are not from Ilocos FYI so masakit marinig na akala ng iba e ang main dialect natin dito is ilocano. IBALOI po ang DIALECT ng mga IGOROT

Sayang nga ang old Baguio, nagdurugo ang puso ko kung maalala ko ang ambiance ng Baguio noong mga 80's. Walang Urban planning kasi at hindi na practice ang eco tourism. Sana ginaya ang Intramuros at Vigan City, meron mga standards na sinusunod..
