thanks for the insight into Soviet AFV's! The Stuart & Universal Carrier have a lot of shots to deliver. thanks for the tip of driving over walls/rubble.
The M3 Lee has the US 75mm (2" HE) medium AT gun, nothing infantry scoffs at. Also noteworthy is the late war Bren Carrier from Budapest book (pg 130), which allows a pintle HMG without losing transport capacity (at least until Warlord errata catches up with it). An actual pseudo tank with heavy weapon for 85 points (regular).
With top 10 vehicles per faction being a thing now, I’d guess the top ten Partisan vehicles would look something like this with some order swapping (Assuming the rules are played as intended, limited to German and Italian vehicles only. As written one can field literally “any vehicle” in the game that isn’t 10+ or higher) 1: Somua MCG Halftrack (multiple launcher)/Renault UE 2: Panzerwerfer 42 3: SDKFZ 252 Stuka Zu Fuss 4: Horse Drawn Levy (it is a vehicle, and the captured vehicle thing means Partisans get it in “Armies of” only settings) 5: Renault FT (Paris uprising only) 6: SAS Jeep (Maquis only) 7: SAS Armoured Jeep (Maquis only) 8: Truck 9: Heavy Field Car 10: Civilian Car (I don’t think there are any other viable vehicles, besides really plain light tanks in Paris Uprising)
KV-2 should have an honorable mention as it brings a lot for the 300 points regular it cost, as it is probably the cheapest DV-10 and with a heavy howitzer for a main armament vehicle in the game. Then having a MMG in the back of the turret makes people pause before trying a rear shot to the thing with a man portable AT weapon.
So if The Universal carrier is high on your list for the Soviets then the German Hanomag 250 should be good for Germans at 75pts, 1 extra MG shot but halftrack not fully tracked. PS: We need a top 10 german vehicles.
Cost per shot Carrier: 70/8 = 8.75 250/1: 75/6 = 12.5 The carrier has turn on a dime so is about equal to the half track’s manoeuvrability. The Germans have cheaper machine gun shots in their list and cheaper transports. Probably makes a top 20 but not sure if it makes a top 10?

Love this series
Excellent video @Bo. I'd add the weak sided Sherman-75 (185 pts) at either position 7, 8 or 9.

IT is just soooo ineffective
I cannot wait for the IJA top 10 vehicles!
Thanks!!
I am starting soviets and this will help. I have 2 Universal carriers for them.
Hi! What do you think about T28 and SU 76i ?
So if The Universal carrier is high on your list for the Soviets then the German Hanomag 250 should be good for Germans at 75pts, 1 extra MG shot but halftrack not fully tracked. PS: We need a top 10 german vehicles.
Cost per shot
Carrier: 70/8 = 8.75
250/1: 75/6 = 12.5
The carrier has turn on a dime so is about equal to the half track’s manoeuvrability.

Probably makes a top 20 but not sure if it makes a top 10?
german next?
