Not just the senate…look at ALL the politicians.
At 74, I'm ready for younger faces in leadership in the world.
It's preventing legislation as a whole. They're completely out of touch with the average American.

We need to be electing younger people. In the next 10 years the geezers will be gone and we will have a ton of young people with no experience. This could turn into a mess.

Age is not a factor in progressive legislation. Half the nation doesnt want Progressive legislation no matter the age.
And yet you can't win the presidency without the so-called "electoral college."
So you think half of the young people aren't interested in more equality, more social programs, access to education and resources, and fair wages? I'd like to see where you get your statistics. Also how old you are. I'm guessing.... 75?

Important Context: Congressional term limits for Congress are unconstitutional.¹
The problem isn't age, it's Republican abuse of the filibuster's 60-vote threshold to even begin debate, then 60 again to vote on any of the great legislative and policy bills passed by a very liberal Democratic House.
A close listen to this very video shows it asserts the same thing -- the Senate is the roadblock.

¹ So, it will take [2/3rds] of both chambers of Congress, or 2/3rds of the State legislatures to approve of a new Constitutional Convention to amend the Constitution (where it's open season on changes to the Constitution, provided you swing the vote of 3/4ths of the States on any given amendment.)

I don't think age matters. As long as they can do the job. Shorter terms might be something to study. Just because someone falls. Doesn't mean they can't think straight. Trump on the other hand. Shouldn't be in office. Or in control of anything that matters....

What's preventing change is young people don't vote. Not in the primaries and not in general elections. Old people vote religiously...for old people.
