Hey African mechanic I just found your video I am trying to figure out how to check my transmission fluid on a 2011 Jeep Compass. I can't believe that they made it so hard for a car owner to try to check his own fluids himself without taking it to a mechanic. I could barely hear what you say about where to check your transmission fluid do you open that up and see if the fluid comes out or they're supposed to be no transmission fluid coming out when you take out the check fluid nut can you help?
Johnny Rod Sorry For The Late Reply Sir, What You need to do is Start the car and Let It Run For 3mins Then Open It, If The Transmission Fluid Starts coming Out Then The level Ok Buh If it Doesn't Come out Then The Level Has Dropped... Add Just A Liter Of CVT Fliud and It should be Okay

Not all Jeeps came with a CVT. Starting in 2014, it had the optional 6 speed automatic.

If you filled that transmission with CVT fluid how long did your transmission last? That is not a CVT transmission, it's a 6F24 made by Hyundai.
No that's a pre 2017 they came with the cvt
Why can't you just fill it from the house where the cvt cap was?

Check with a local dealer who can lookup with complete VIN on the vehicle, this is how I found out miner is CVT.
