I don't doubt that this man was a lovely human being and I feel terrible for the family he left behind and the loss they have to deal with, but did he have to step into the road? Maybe yell from the curb/sidewalk? Not that he's around for this to be relayed. Senseless and sad. 😞
I get that everyone wants to idolize him since he is gone, but let's learn a lesson from this that is more practical. Don't step out in front of a speeding car or motorcycle and play traffic cop. No child should be playing outside unattended in this day and age. Don't get involved, if you are worried call PD and ask for extra watch. Call the police, take a video whatever and the 19 year old should maybe get a ticket if it's even provable but still doesn't mean it was his fault.
Exactly and it’s at night hard to see people all on its own 😬
The speeding kid lived in the neighborhood? Had other unacceptable incidents prior? Why not get ALL the other disgruntled neighbors to make an appearance at the brats house when parents are home and give notice if the parents can’t or won’t take control of their brat they will then be taking measures to do so. Cameras, get the brats license plate to report with, have the cops at his doorstep EVERYTIME he is seen speeding and actually make a report. File a civil lawsuit!!!
There are so many out of control, psycho, road rage drivers out there. It is as if people take out all their personal rage behind the wheel.
Was his child crossing the street at that time? I can't understand anything other reason to use my body to stop a motor vehicle. Still a very sad situation either way.
If not to save a life it can saddly be ego.
The lesson: Mind your own business and stop trying to be the hall monitor for the block/neighborhood, city/world.
He got what he ordered up.
Natural selection, folks.
Hopefully you won't get half the s I got. Not that it will stop me.
Physics will prove a motorcycle will win against a person the majority of the time
RIP, and prayers, I feel him, we live on a hill, in between two motorcycle bars and a stop sign right in front of our house, and we have a couple people that found dirt bikes and want to rev and floor it, all the way up our street and I'm petrified to let my grandchildren go outside and play. Last year my granddaughter took off down the hill, towards the road and I was so scared, I chased after her and was able to trip her into the yard and I fell in the street, I ended up with a broken hand. We can't call the law because by time they get here, the bad motorcyclists are gone. I live in the hood, so I'm pretty sure they all have eyes, everywhere
You don't "floor it" on a motorcycle. You "twist it."
Do you step in traffic. Trying to stop speeding vehicles, I think NOT.
Mind your own business and don’t be a hero. Rules I live by
@@soggers546 as sad as it is, this is what happens when you run in front of a moving vehicle.
Agree. Well put.
There’s nothing heroic about vigilantism. Saving a kid from drowning or something like that is a hero.
My prayers and tears go out to this family and his community who are grieving, but also to this teen who's apparent selfish disregard will now leave a permanent mark on his life
Wow, that was dumb.
Sometimes silence on issues is indeed golden.
My heart goes out to the family of this young man. I can't imagine their grief. As for assuming that he actually stepped in front of a speeding motorcycle, I won't say anything about that until more details come out. Hopefully, the young boy riding the motorcycle will be okay.
Driver totally at Fault there !!
The guy walking out in front of the rider was at fault.
What a beautiful Family.
@@psst...heyyou6508 What ?
Deeply beyond sad. Keeping your neighborhood safe and getting killed doing that. Not how it should be.
Jaywalking is a crime for a reason. This idiot did the opposite of keeping his neighborhood safe.
you are not supposed to keep the neighborhood safe . who the fk told you that . lol
Sorry for their lose, however their are other actions that he could of taken, such as calling law enforcement and not trying to stop the cyclist . Don't put yourself in danger. Would the neighbors be so concerned had it been that cyclist who lost his life due to the actions of this individual. He put himself in this spot causing his own death. Had it been a speeding car would he of done the same ?. Prayers are needed both ways here not just one.
How terrible for both families. Prayers to them all.
This man have a wife and five children. But now he’s gone and leave them behind. RIP condolences to the family.
If he'd only minded his business
Ever notice how EVERY person that dies in America was "one of a kind," "had a smile that lit up the room," "would give you the shirt off their back". If any of this were true, this country would be a PARADISE, and it is NOT! lol.
IKR nobody is that great
I noticed that too!!
@@dianabeurman364 when I die there will be the hearse …and probably just one car following behind 🤷🏻♀️
No big deal. The rider already out on bond. No charges. He will likely have a new bike by Monday
He could have talked with the neighbor while he was not on the bike. Sad. Praying for his family. He was likely worried about his children's safety and had enough. Please videotape people speeding and call police for anyone in the future
Same thing will happen if you stand in front a truck
Sorry for your loss. Tragedy for family as well as young kid. This boy will have to live with this his entire life.
So sad! Prayers for the family
Oh my gosh I'm so sorry for your loss!!!!!
Don't be the hero call the police
Absolutely heartbreaking 😭 Why did such a wonderful husband and father have to lose his life? My sincere condolences to his wife and children ,family and friends. May his soul rest in peace. Hug your loved ones every day.
Because he didn't mind his business
Too sad 😢 RIP, please don’t get on the way of a moving vehicle, please stay safe out there.
How sad. The motorcyle driver needs serious jail time
Nothing will be done to the reckless motorcyclists who murdered him. I see this every day.
If you are NOT a cop, do not pretend to be one.
He was protecting his children, it came from a place of instinct. I doubt he thought it through before he stepped out on the street. But I agree that getting the cops involved is best.
Report said nothing about his kids being in the road, no protection needed, not in danger.
@@bobbytackett5233 it's a residential area. Anyone's kids could have been around. Don't speed thorough neighborhoods. It sucks he died, but it's possible it saved someone else's life in the future. And that 19 year old should learn a lesson from this. If he continues to speed on that motorcycle, he could die one day. I know someone who did.
so sad ...love from Australia
What happened? Did he run out in front of it?
Should’ve thought about it.
We got a couple of those bikers that speed thru our dead-end street. They go around our cul de sac at dangerous speeds. Not only that, they are very loud. This poor man was probably fed up with this biker's irresponsible behavior and just reacted. The biker got startled and lost control ( I am guessing). So sorry for this dad and husband, trying to look out for the neighborhood and kids.
I'm not trying to sound insensitive because this is really sad and a whole family lost a husband and a father. But why would you step in the way of a motorcycle or any vehicle in order to slow it down? This could have been avoided. Now not only the father is dead but the motorcycle list was injured as well. It's senseless really. My heart and my prayers go out to the family
They can only charge the motorcycle driver with speeding and not the death of the father who intentionally stepped in the path of the motorcycle. The gentleman seemed like a nice caring father and would have been a positive force in his children’s lives. This was an unfortunate consequence of right action wrong time. My condolences to his family and friends.
Mm in our State Pedestrians always have the right away no need to be in a cross walk
@@ericromeiro6688 Even when they intentionally try to stop a car?
RIP prayers to the family 🙏💔
He looked so nice.
Why would he do that? Doesn’t make any sense to physically step in the street over a motorcycle rider. We have stop acting like we are the law enforcement. Most of the time law enforcement won’t chase a motorcycle it’s not worth the risk and law suits to the department and danger to the public.
What a senseless accident!
WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE, WHY...
A grown man was out on the street trying to stop a speeding motorcycle (not as a pedestrian) AT 9:00pm AFTER Sundown (8:30pm)...It was his own fault period. His stupidity cost his life.
Best comment on this thread!! 🎯🙌🏻 💯
seems like a great guy foolish decision cost him his life the driver is not to blame.
As a rider and out of respect I am not going to state the obvious I just feel like it's so pointless and now he is dead and a 19 old rider is injured and probably feeling terrible about everything I think people need to mind there business
Very sad, condolences to the family
So sorry, RIP
How about just stay out of the road, ever think about that. I bet everyone would have been fine that day, had he just did that.....
I JUST WISH HIS WIFE COULD HAVE STOPPED HIM FROM RUNNING OUT THERE!!!
😆😆😆 A grown man needs a babysitter?
Why haven’t you guys release the name of the guy who was driving the motorcycle suspicious?
Extremely sad but also a really bad idea. His family was safe inside at 9pm yet he felt the need to step in front of a speeding vehicle and risk 2 lives. I hate to rub salt in a wound but he caused the accident that ultimately took his life. Nobody was at risk until he decided to get involved in something that otherwise would not have affected him in the least.
No amount of money donated is going to stop the heartache
How awful, bless the families of all involved
This is so sad. Prayers for his family and friends.
Commen since would tell a person not to step in front of a moving vehicle of any sort. And trying to take the law Into your own hands can also have devastating consequences.
This guy thought he was more skilled than he really was. Couldn't avoid the hero that proved it. This man deserves respect when all the people who are sworn to protect the community fail to address the situation properly by giving them reality. I am sure the lesson this kid learned will not only haunt him but his injuries will serve as a reminder and hopefully he will do the right thing and share his experience with those who have a death wish
I don't doubt that this man was a lovely human being and I feel terrible for the family he left behind and the loss they have to deal with, but did he have to step into the road? Maybe yell from the curb/sidewalk? Not that he's around for this to be relayed. Senseless and sad. 😞
Prayers for this family.
I get that everyone wants to idolize him since he is gone, but let's learn a lesson from this that is more practical. Don't step out in front of a speeding car or motorcycle and play traffic cop. It won't help, most teenagers will call you Karen and laugh and drive on. He wanted to protect neighborhood children playing outside? No child should be playing outside unattended in this day and age. Don't get involved, if you are worried call PD and ask for extra watch. You are worth so much more to your family than any neighborhood feud or point you could make. Same with road rage, let it go, choose to live instead.
We have the same problem here. People nuts
You can try to contact your city to get speed bumps installed
I'm sorry but do not run in the street and play chicken to play traffic police.
He left his beautiful family behind trying to be a traffic cop. FOLKS, MIND YOUR BUSINESS AND LIVE TO ENJOY YOUR FAMILY.
Should've backed his car out in front of the motorcycle. That would've kept him safe and slowed the rider down.
He should've minded his business...
Great way to become a murderer.
@@thetruthisonlyperspective4872 There's NO reason for anyone speeding in a neighborhood. How would you feel if your child or someone else's child was hit by a speeder?
A simple rake handle through the front spokes would certainly be much more affective than stepping in front of a speeding motorbike.
I’ve seen people in cars cause accidents the same way trying to slow someone down that will end up passing in three other lanes anyway. Better off taking down a plate.
Those poor kids, and his wife.. 😔
Dam fool .how was going to slow down the bike running in front of it.
what idiot puts himself in front of a rapid moving vehicle. "He lived for his kids? his wife". Did he not once think of them before knowingly sacrificing himself? This could've been avoided. So sad, my condolences to the family and kids. And hope the motorcyclist is jailed.
Was he under the influence? Nobody really thinks they’re super man….. right?
