October rust is one of the most beautiful albums ever made.
The album changed my life
💚
I’ve said a billion times that Peter Steele wrote some of the most beautiful music EVER!!!!
Absofuckinglutely!! Love You to Death is still one of the most beautiful and heavy songs ever, brings you to your knees with identification.
October Rust is my favorite Type O Negative album and one of my top 10 all time favorites. I freaking love Type O Negative! I miss Peter and the rest of the band so much! 💪🏻🤘🏻😎
Being 6' 7" myself, I never felt self-conscious about my height, because I knew that if Lord Petrus Steele was the same height, then it must be the perfect size to be.
NO HOPE = NO FEAR
And think about it, his assault arrest. A 6"8 260 lb man who lifted weights, not a punch you want to be on the receiving end of, but no one messed with him in jail either because of his size!
Peter was a beast and I totally agree. I’m sure no one messed with him while he did his time at Rikers Island.
Pretty sure he was actually 6'8" or 9". I've heard all 3. Point is, dude was huge. I've always wanted to be with a man that big lol
I love Type O Negative. They also had the greatest name for a "best of" album: "The Least Worst of Type O Negative".
Which was actually better than the other compilation they had.
sinus: snortin
liver: boozin
lungs: smokin
The sinus was the one that gives Pete an anxiety attack when he hears it. Right?
Yes, although it was more because of the heartbeat around the mid-way point.
An half-hour video , with redhead jesus talking about metal ? Yes please .
I'm not redheaded
Killbot&GorGorAttack!! Shut it redhead Jesus (jk great vid tho!)
Please , take it as a complement . Also , N1 fan in Brasil !
@@KillbotAndGorGorAttack Ginger Jesus has a nice ring, embrace it!
The Guy's hair is obviously brown
Peter Steele, the sexiest man alive who could play an upright bass like a regular bass.
Also dude... you’re town looks beautiful
Why thank you! The Elon area :)
Alive? Excuse me? Lol.
@@moonriseillusion its a saying dud
Now he's the sexiest UNalive man 😅👌💚
This dude's like the heavy metal weird al lol
jason parmelee I was thinking the same thing & I love weird Al so that’s not a bad thing 😁
@@spookyvegan1402 Me too! It was totally a compliment when I said it. A type O negative/ weird al tour would have been the shit! Weird al could have sand Mambo # five over Type O playing Black # 1.
@@jessickalush3305 I Love Weird Al & TON, they should have sung together for that Al song where he'd rather dive into a swimming pool filled w/ razor blades than spend another minute w/ his ex-girlfriend (or something like that)
@@emilyinwonderland4147 Hellz yeah! the song is One More Minute. That or "Christmas at ground zero", they could slow it WAY down and call it "Christmas at ground Xero ( end of life remix).
jason parmelee omg yes!!!
Ur speaking my language 🖤😂
I'm a simple man, I see Type O, I like. Type O Negative and Carnivore are two of my favorite bands. RIP Pete Steele
I was devastated when he died.
Just got into these guys about a year ago. Probably the biggest "where have you been all my life?" discoveries ever.
Better late than never.
Man you've missed an amazing band. Hope more folks find them, they deserve to be remembered as a very very unique and influential band
My only thought is "WOW" this was a fun way to learn about Type O Negative an the history. Ill definitely be recommending this video for anyone that wants to know the history.
Fun Fact: I got to do a mini tour with Type O Negative in the mid 2000. It was some of the best memories I have of the band.
They must have been fun guys to be around
Killbot&GorGorAttack!! Yes they were loads of fun an even the crew was wild. Basically what you see in the dvds is what it was like.
Very nice job! Been a fan of Type O since 1993. Really appreciate this look back. Pete was a very down to earth and funny guy to his fans. I met him several times and he always was either joking or sincerly grateful to meet anyone that would listen to his music.
You are so lucky. I really wish I wasn't a 2010 teens and wish I was a 90s teen T_T
The music has helped me out through tough times
Damn this video is actual quality, pretty rare these days
I remember when my friend Jaime brought the cassette for "Slow deep and hard" in to high school when it first came out. I heard the first high pitched note and instantly became a type o fan. Jaime died two years ago but I will never forget how we used to jam out
May Jaime and Peter rest in peace, my friend! 💚
Type O Negative is a great band to escape to after listening to fast crushing riffs and blast beats of death metal, black metal, grindcore, etc.
OHH Type O Negative is the band that made me a metalhead, well it was my father who made me one, but it's his all time favorite band, he owns CDs of them, he went to concerts when he was in highschool, and all that cool shit you would do in the 90s.
May Pete Steele rest in peace
@Jessica Meyer Oh well, I hope it was in the right way, but hey, you are never too old for metal
@Arcane Woodsman I'm glad I could make people laugh, blessings to you as well!
There was nothing cool to do in the 90s. By then it was already 20 years too late. I'm not quite sure why you would think that unless someone's lying to you.
I feel bad for guys like you that missed the 90's. If I had a time machine I would go back to 94 and when I got to 99 I would go back to 94 over and over and over until I died. Damn I miss the 90's.
My old person moment is coming; I saw TON in Hollywood & in Vegas in the early 90's (although my memory of the Hollywood show isn't so clear, I do remember the Vegas show better for some reason iDK), my 1st comment to my friend at the 1st show was "OMG that guy is HUGE & SCARY, I Love it!!!" Still in love w/ them to this day.
Green is my favorite color too
I agree.💚
Same
same
I've always seen The Cult as the happy version of Type O Negative.
Was lucky enough to see them with Motley Crue back in the day .. it was great they got off stage and hung out with my girlfriend for most of the night lol good times
My son just made me watch this again with him !! Oh how proud am I 🤘🤘🤘
Rest In Peace Peter Steele
Sitting at home drinking alone,
Empty bottle in your hands...
Love to you type0 and pete
7:27 lol
This was done so fucking well. Really enjoyed watching this, fantastic job 🤘🏽
I have a memory of one of the first times I heard October Rust. I was driving home from class in the middle of the night during fall, and for whatever reason that memory lodged in my head and I feel the way I felt then every time I hear “Love You to Death”
Carnivore played with agnostic front and cro mags
I have so much to say, but even after almost 10 years; it's still too much for me. I'll just say, for now; "well done!" and leave it at that. Wish I could "like" this more than once
Oh my. The end has me in tears. That day in 2010 I woke up and didn’t know yet. My friend called me and asked if I’d heard Pete had passed. I felt like a family member had died. They were my favorite band. My computer wallpaper, my ringtone. Type O Negative has played a huge part in the soundtrack of my life. I was in my younger days, a girlfriend’s girlfriend. Many fond memories, and indeed there is nothing else like being intimate with someone with candles burning and TON playing. October Rust is my favorite album. Wolf Moon is my favorite song. But I adore so many more. The beginning of Nettie is my absolute favorite start of one of their songs because it showcases the decadent, deep vocal tone of Peter. These Three Things, An Ode to Locksmiths, Haunted, just too many favorites to list them all. Some songs will make you angry and some will make you cry. But you’ll go on a journey with the music. Thank you for putting this video together. It was wonderful. Time to listen to some Type O. RIP Pete.❤️💚✨💫
2020 needs a new band like type o negative
October Rust is a great album. Love You To Death is my favorite Type O song. Rip Peter.
💚
My dad’s all time favorite band - he saw them all the time at the Starland Ballroom near Halloween in Sayreville, New Jersey and he’s told me amazing stories about them. Personally they’re not my favorite band as I am more of a Brutal Death Metal guy, but it does not detract from how badass Peter Steele and Type O are!!! 👊🤟 \m/
what a deserved tribute!
💚
I just started getting into Type o Negative a week ago. And it was a really good surprise for you to release a video about Type o Negative. I really enjoyed it ! It was the perfect guide for a guy who just started to get into the band.
Thank you for making this. I choked up at the end... RIP Pete. You were one of the best!
shit, I shed a tear myself.
Same here. Peter's death hit me harder than the death of any one in my family. I'm still can't believe he's gone. It's october as I'm typing this so I think of Peter even more as it's so close to Halloween.
thecatwhisper l
Kenny keeping that chorus pedal on for all of type-o's career was a HUGE part of the sound.
When? What songs?
10 years gone now. I made my tribute to him. Miss him so much
October Rust is the BEST album
💚
💚
I like World Coming Down
I was talking with a girl on an old ass house phone back around '95-96ish & I heard this strong powerful beautiful voice coming from...I don't know where. So I asked her what she was listening to she said Love You To Death by Type O Negative...I went to the mall that same day...& now I'm here morning with you...
Felony Strutter praise of bacchus green man!!
25:28
September Sun is absolutely an instantly recognizable hit
This was a freaking great retrospective of one of my all time favorites. Thank you.
Thank you for making and sharing this. Very informative and entertaining!
This was INCREDIBLE! Thank you!
My favourite band of all time...Carnivore are up there too. Just have to say this is really well put together. I can really appreciate the research, time and effort that's went into this. It's a credit really
💚

Chapeau bas dear Sir. The work you have put together in this material is superb. Thank you for briefly summing up the core of Type-o
Sterling job here m8!
I've loved every minute;-)
Great Video and I can tell you worked hard to piece this altogether in post too. Great stuff keep it up.
Great job on this, type o is my favorite band of all time and this was really well made
8:19 what Peter was singing around 5 minutes into it was a section of “I’m In The Mood For Love” by Nat King Cole, just to point it out
Loved this video I’m going to listen to every type o negative album and carnivore keep up the great work tony
Thanks for this vid. Not much is spoken for this band online, but their one of the ones close to my heart
Very nicely done. Glad i stumbled on it. Thank you. RIP Pete
What a badass video man. You can tell you took your time and did a good job putting it together! Right on!!
Great video dude! I love that band and you did a great job. I was entertained for sure! Keep up the good work! \m/
Dude! This is the best retrospective about Type O Negative on the entire internet! Your knowledge of the band, and your funny delivery style definitely pays homage to one of the best metal bands of all time. Awesome job, brother! You have a new subscriber for sure!
Thank you! Now watch the new extended edition of this video
Very cool, man. 28 minutes well spent, thanks for putting this together. I’ve been jamming them non-stop for some reason the last week and this was a nice treat. Cheers from New Orleans and stay green!
Probably one of the best rock bands ever.
Really good video, too. Very smooth narration and good presentation.
Great video man! Truly, a beautiful Tribute to Type-O
Bad ass man! Type O Negative will always be one of my favorites. I never get tired of listening to them. Great job man.
thank you for this, really enjoyed it
Great video with heaps of good info. Type O Negative were my one true love when I was 17-18 years old trying to get through the last of high school. Been getting back into them recently so it’s awesome to see a video like this.
Thanks a lot for this video, great job buddy !!!
Dude, amazing video! Great job. 🖤💚
Thanks for this. Great work and well Made.
I normally don’t make it through 30 minute UA-cam videos, but I’m going to watch this one again. Excellent work 🤘
Excellent work, man! Type O still remains one of my favorite bands and this was quite a treat. :)
I was 14 in 1996 and when I first heard them then, I loved them ever since. Thank you for making this. Very well done, man. Miss TON every day.
Fantastic video and a solid intro to ToN for new fans. Thank you for your efforts; you made an educational vid that’s actually great fun to watch.
Oh I forgot to say something about the video, dude, I really enjoyed this video, the filming, and the editing is amazing, I really like the ambiance oh here, and the effort that you put in this is notable, keep up the good work, and stay metal \m/
Great job. Your video kept me interested the entire time. Type o is one of my favorites, I’ve watched extensive interviews and read many stories, yet you still taught me a thing or two!
Glad you got something out of it! :)
I really love type o, they were just so unique. Really enjoyed the video and appreciate the effort you put into it. Would love more like these with other bands🤘
Killer video! This was the first of yours I’ve seen. Definitely subbing!
Never listened to Type O before this video. Thanks for a great intro to them
that was definetly worth the wait, great video killbot
Wow that was so many details and several I was unaware of. Gotta love the green filter in there and it reminded me of this Emerald City technique in so many of Baum's Oz stories. Befitting a band with so much majesty, even if there is a ton of irreverence involved. I'm really glad I watched this to find out the many layers of change that happened. Couldn't have a better presenter and I'm grateful for how you ended it. Very well done, indeed.
Dude. Thank you for doing this video. They're my favourite band of all time. Subscribing. :)
Love the band, your commentary is very pleasing
You did a really great job with that vid. I appreaciate your commitment and knowldege. The fact that Petrus was partly polish origin makes me proud. RIP Green Man.
This is really well done. Thanks dude. Great channel btw. 💚
holy shit this is my favourite channel! I was so thrilled when I saw you posted
Awesome work! Loved the entire 28 mins.
🤘😝🤘!!Dude, just saw your "TON" video. Awesome & hilarious dude. Good work.
What a great video, not just the content but the production part too. RIP Pete
That was awesome man, excellent job.
10 years today since we lost Peter.
Fantastic review dude. Wow blown away again by ur content
What a great video man!! So fun to watch
