Thank you for this, I just started year 11 a month ago and got kicked out of ATAR due to lack of attendance caused by a depressive episode. I was bawling my eyes out on my kitchen floor when my dad told me the news and felt like a complete failure. I wanted to do ATAR so I could get into uni and be the first person in my family to do ATAR and/or go to uni, so being told I got kicked out wrecked me. Thank you for making this video and reinforcing what my dad has kept telling me since then, which is that ATAR doesn’t define my intelligence and that I can still make it into uni without it.
I dont understand how it hasnt predicted those things about you. Learning is part of intelligence. Also, everything is a test of intelligence. good job
Do you have any advice for chemistry? Chemistry is a subject at a molecular level, is hard for me to understand and there are also lots of conversions, mathematical calculations etc which make it a difficult subject especially if there is not a solid foundational knowledge. How did you study and revise for chemistry?
@@abdullah-hi6cf Just understand that if you struggle with Chemistry at A Level you're probably really going to struggle later (& Med School may not be for you. Depends how much you struggle)🙏💜🇬🇧💜
What a fantastic video! This is the exact advice we give to students. You ATAR does not define your future success as a student!!
