Lord have mercy. This man just touched my heart that I had to pull off the road.
Thanks, James Guns. Rest in peace Johnny Cash.
Yeah. The man wasn't just a performer, or artist, he was a phenomenon, a star, a man of the people, the voice
I love how he says, I'm Johnny Cash! Wow! He was a true artist.
Hello Elizabeth, Good evening. The song is amazing and heart touching for real. Love it ❤️
@@thomsonsmith3327 good evening to you as well. Have you heard Johnny Cash sing, the Long Black Veil? Not the rendition of him singing it live too the men in prison, although that was good also. But the one he sings with a female in the background will give you chill bumps. The way she holds the words sounds like she is mourning. Gives me chills. I love it! From Texas to you
@@elizabethmerriman531 Good morning Elizabeth. Haha, Yes I have that song my playlist. He’s truly a legend. Am here in Florida, how’s the weather there?
Good morning! It's a little cool this morning,..67° but will get back up in the 90's later and stay that far the rest of the week. But it's better than when it was in the 100's! Looking forward to fall & winter. Enjoy your day.
@@elizabethmerriman531 Okay cool. It’s hot here as usual, but chilling currently. It rained yesterday and also this morning.
Dad this is for you. Hope you are listening ❤❤❤❤❤
Perfect example of how simplicity is the way to go at times. This is real true musicianship without gimmicks!!!!
Parents: "Country music isn't violent"
Country music: "I shot a man in Reno just to watch him die"

@@oliverpuppetproductions8753thank you
They made his childhood house a historical place in Arkansas. Very proud!
He, Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings all grew up HARD. Read their respective biographies/autobiographies to learn how hard.
They made a little exhibit in the folsom prison museum as well.
Johnny Cash one musician in a century!
Just got this on vinyl for Christmas
Grandad this one's for you ❤️ one of your favourite song artists!! R.i.p 😇😇
R.I.P❤
My grandpa's too. Born and raised in Wisconsin

You’re amazing!❤️
My uncle passed away 2 days ago. I jus seen a video of him playing this and singing it on his guitar while drinkin wit his buddies... I'll never stop listening to this song now... Love u unc
Me and My Grandma both love Johnny Cash. She really gets a kick out of me singing his songs in my best Johnny Cash Voice. Last Summer she brought out her old Gramaphone and started playing “Johnny Cash Live At Folsom Prison” and “Johnny Cash and his hot and blue Guitar”. When my Grandma moves on, these songs will always remind me of our time listening to Johnny Cash Together.
My grandpa always used to listen to Cash, always fond memories. I come back to these songs constantly. Love you grampa
😂 same here 🍻
If you're listening to this in 2023, you're a legend.
Hello dear, I Guess you're a good country MUSIC lover?
The guitar solo is so well done, especially with how the drummer matches it
I believe in peace, I don't care how many times I gotta hit that replay button to get it
And I thought you where the crazy one
How about an island covered in dicks?

There are hardly better songs than this. This is music that will live on forever. And I'm so glad my grandfather instilled this in me, rather than this stuff you hear rattling Windows as someone pulls up next to you at a traffic light.
When I hear, Hello, I’m Johnny Cash I get chills because I know I’m about o hear greatness
Every time we left the base, SSG Johnson played this song every time, sometimes on loop. He was the most squared away soldier I’d ever met. Played this song to remember him by today.
i love that at 2:19
thank you James Gunn for introducing me to this awesome playlist
Johnny cash music is the cool uncle you see once or twice a year and always has some cool shit in mind
