    I'm surprised with some of the negative reviews. I was so impressed with the ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxMwYg0MOXR4M-oGeyBsNSYe1aPOUoRH6D cage that I got the lat pulldown attachment that goes with it. It is equally outstanding. I don't have one complaint other than putting it together is a job. The instructions and packaging of the parts are very well designed and organized. Also, I stripped and damaged the pull down cable the first day, admitting it was my stupid fault, and they quickly replaced it at no charge. I'm 6'5, 280lbs and fit in the cage just fine. Glenn B

    Nice man. A still shot of the final product would’ve been nice to see at the end of the video, but good content nonetheless

    It works better to cut the center, high grade plywood down to 42" wide. You can use the 6" cut off outside the rubber matting by splitting it to 2 - 3" strips to fill out the full 8' width.

    Why is there no end where you show the whole thing finished with the rack on it? Sigh.

    Great content. Just finished mine. Just curious how long did you wait after you put the last coat of polyurethane. The can says to wait 24hr-3 days for normal use. Is that necessary? How long after did you wait to stage your equipment? Thanks

    Did staining the OSB wood make the wood a lot less slippery? I have a problem with my platform where my wood is slippery and is an issue. Just wondering if staining offers more than just the look of the wood.

    Iam not a powerlifter and don't really do olymic lifts. Do you think i will be better off with just stall horse mats or should i get a platform to protect my epoxy floors?
    Also I have a small slope in garage and dont wanna be lifting on an uneven surface. If i decide to go just with stall mats i wonder how 🤔 should i level them? They are selling me an 8x8 platform here in my own town for $200.
    If i buy platform hkw can i level it?
    Sorry for all the questions and I hope you can help me. Thank u.

    @Little RV BIG Life, thanks for the video.
    If my whole floor Is stall mats do you think I need the plywood for a more stable base to lift? (Not using crazy weight) or is the stall mats study enough? Thx

      @littlervbiglife1545  4 роки тому +1

      The best lifting is done on a sturdy base. The more give that you have under you will cause instability. I would recommend the plywood under the area where you are lifting and the stall mats will protect your floor if the weights are dropped.

    looks great, is the red oak plywood thin veneer? any issues with it bubbling or lifting?

    • @littlervbiglife1545
      @littlervbiglife1545  4 роки тому

      I have built others like it and Baltic Burch holds up better. The oak is a thinner veneer than the Burch.

    How's the cement underneath holding up only using one plywood layer? Most I've seen use two ply layers then the stall mats.

      There have been no issues. I just had to lift up the platform due to water getting into the basement.

    How thick was the bottom OSB layer? 3/4 inches?

    • @littlervbiglife1545
      @littlervbiglife1545  4 роки тому +2

      They call it 3/4 but it's actually .688" thick which is close to 11/16.

      I can absolutely add a home gym setup video. I did do some edging but haven't added anything under the toes of the rack. it seems to be fairly well supported as is.

    • @brianpapke2399

      I’d recommend sanding the plywood on the basement. Or buying another piece of plywood and thinning it out so it levels the grade of the floor
