Over 4 decades old, my PL-530 is still playing beautifully. Direct drive, auto/manual select, repeat function. All the Pioneer units from that era are a pleasure to look at. Cheers!

I too have a 510s, and play mine just about everyday as well. It's a total babe. Bought mine at a Goodwill in 1999 for 15 bucks. Love it.

This sounds clearly as an old NES chipset (I mind,perhaps more like and and old synthesizer). I like Pioneer as trademark in general.

I have this one also, bought it new from Illinois Audio in 76. Do you think a SL-1200MK would be that much better to justify the cost?
