Very interesting! I just bought a Melda Multianalyzer to help me visualize how to better separate my kick drum from my bass guitar, and I think it might help my ears hear a bit more distinction. This low-end thing seems to be such a problem for so many. In your video, though, I'm a bit confused. Bassroom plugin on the bass guitar track, in solo, helps to shape the single track? Then you can try the plugin on the mixbus to help figure out if there's too much or too little bass information compared to a reference track, or within a genre? Is there any way with Bassroom to create the best relationship between kick and bass?
This plug-in is just for the mix as a whole. It’s not really for a single tracks. I will definitely check out the plug-in you mentioned though! It sounds cool!
@@HomeRecordingNetwork I'm definitely gonna buy the Bassroom plugin, thanks to your review! I've been working on my mixing skills with my own songs and wish I had more time to work on actually writing and recording my music, but learning to mix is such a HUGE enterprise, it's eating up all my time. After months of working on mixes, I'm about ready to master a bunch of songs. But if I have to learn how to master from scratch, as well as mix, I don't think I'll ever have time to get back to actually making the music. Given I'll never make a penny from my music I am not going to send my stuff to a professional mastering engineer, so I'm looking at those online services like Emastering and Landr. I know they won't compare to a real live human being, but do you have thoughts about these services?
@@ivraru3 just be patient! This stuff takes time. I have never actually used one of those services… some people hate them, and others say they are great haha. So I have no clue since I have never tried one. I should see what all the fuss is about one day and give one a shot.

@@HomeRecordingNetwork I'd love to see you do a video on the subject one day! Love your videos, as always.
