What a great hack!!!! I am gonna go check out Luna more now I think, I had helped a client with it not long ago, but we never got into nitty gritty stuff like that. I really like how it can quantize seperate parts of the track versus all the track. Also, being able to delete some of the points that way looks nice too! Hope you are doing well!
Question for you. I edited some drums in Luna and when I exported them and dropped them into logic they don't start at the right time. The drums don't land on the grid. They are in time if you slide them onto the grid, but I can't figure out why they aren't in sync. I made sure the play head was at the very start of the audio file when exporting. I'm stumped
This is definitely user error. Not sure what you are doing but maybe you are not bouncing from the beginning of the song? The grids should line up exactly.
@@HomeRecordingNetwork Thanks for the reply. I've tried exporting the stems from the start and from a bar before the drums start--same issue in both cases where the start doesn't line up where it should. Found a similar problem mentioned in a forum on UA's website. Sounds like an uninstall/reinstall might fix the issue.
It’s a great video. However, in my opinion just quantizing everything to a grid will not make your song sound its best. It is the “industry standard” but doing it manually using your ears and not changing every minute detail will sound better than the industry standard. Unless you like the sound of computer perfection, many do.

Thanks! You too!
Do I need a UAD audio interface in order for me to use Luna?
Unfortunately… as of right now… yes… 😬

@@easternsouvenirsgood to know!
Would this work with the module Yamaha ead 10? I legit have no idea how to edit and make drum covers tbh
Don’t know what that is actually!

No crossfades? 🤔
Not with this method!
