- Ali Siddiq sits down with Donnie Houston to talk his life and career as a stand up comedian. This interview is filled with hilarious stories about being from Houston, Pimp C, Bushwick Bill, owning a DJ record pool, going to prison and whole lot more. Watch Domino Effect out now on UA-cam.
Man Dave Chappelle was my favorite comedian until I discovered Ali Siddiq. This dude is hilarious and his stories are the best and realest! His newest special is an instant classic.
They’re both excellent.
Dave & Ali on a show or movie 🔥⚡
We are on the same page
🥱
I agree. I’m kinda burnt out on chappelle, been listening to him for years and tbh he is slightly overrated. Saddiq comes from the perspective of there’s light and irony in every dark situation, chappelle perspective is how a perfect society for all races “white friendships” (clears throat) should be but never will be. He’s a lowkey victim 👀 tbh funny af but he just seem like he has way more white friends than black 🤷♂️
Ali been my favorite story teller since Mexican got on boots. All of his specials are funny as hell mixed with real life situations. Nobody fuckin with Ali when it comes to stand up. In my opinion
No lie Mexicans got on boots is fukkin funny as hell!! Im a barber and Everytime I get a new customer in my chair I play Domino Effect and by the time they leave they ask who is that? And everything else is history lol long story short ALI IS ONE OF THE GREATEST!! ✊🏾✊🏾

By far one of the best storytelling comedians in the business & the Domino Effect is one of the top ten best one-hour specials, IMO. It surprises me to hear that he runs into so many people that have no idea who he is after all this time. I'm amazed to hear how much material he's put out. Easily one of the most prolific comedians overall.
Man!!!! I really mess with Mr. Ali Saddiq I can deal with any MAN who is always a True man and especially when he speaks he tries his Best to Speak the Truth so MUCH RESPECT ✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾😎
"Remember when you used to be scared of me?" 🤣🤣🤣 Ali had me in tears talking about trying to pick up Bushwick Bill
Huge Ali fan. He is a hell of a talent. I have been following him since I first happened upon him about a year ago. Love his comedy and his comedic timing and way he is engaging is special. I can see why Dick Gregory gave him his props. Good interview too DH. First time checking out your channel. Yup Philly had them bidi's way back in the day.
I saw Ali's name and I clicked LIKE before I even watched, because I knew it would have been GOOD!!!!

I like the way he tells his life stories. Keeps my intrest.
Question for yall Huston locals, do yall fuck with SPM (South Park Mexican)?
I'm from Chicago but I been in love with Huston music since I was like 10 years old, almost moved there a few times, my mom moved to Huston lived there for years and died there. I only got to visit a few times, but I got enormous respect for Huston culture. The reason I ask is because I hear people mentioning all the legendary Huston rappers and artists but very rarely do I hear them speak about SPM or Dope House Records. Don't get me wrong Screw, Paul, Cham, Bun, and UGK are my top favs but SPM was the first Huston rap I ever heard and his whole crew was legendary
SPM is a legend. Did an interview w/ him on here. Subscribe to the channel 🤘🏽
Year 17 for this man was a heck of a year
Aye we was smoking Bidii’s in Phoenix too 😂
We had bidis in Austin
I AGREE 👍 💯 ❤
I smoked bidis in high school “92” in St. Louis.
Earthquake lived in Atlanta but he’s from D.C.
The intro touches my heart & shall never be skipped. Hip Hop
Ali is fire.
Yeah maint Bidis was in Miami too 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yea we smoked beadies in nyc too lol I was young but the beadies was lit
Holy shit Ali looked so different with dreads, I almost didn't recognize him in the "Chunck Up The Deuce" and Mike Jones "Back Then" videos. I watched those videos so many times when they came out and all the years since I been steady jammin that shit. His part in "back then" where he's got the bitch in a headlock is gold, that shit is a classic.
I can confidently say my top 3 comedians are,
Corey Holcomb (Illinois)
Patrice O'neal (Massachusetts)
Ali Siddiq (Texas)
Great interview Donnie.....
Great interview 👏 👏 👏
Subbed after hearing a bit of Ali Siddiq The Great.
This was a GOOD ONE!!!
Ali defines Houston comedy.
I was JUST at that Fiesta lol
I'm 39 2day. Mid nineties them bidis was a thang. My uncle was on em in Canton Ohio but long live my cousin Brandon Gillespie (Playback) from Houston coulda put my unc on but he a smoke connoisseur... Smokin since he was two, literally. But I hit them bidis bout 97 98
Whenever I ask anyone if they know about bidis, they look at me like I don't know what I am talking about. I was smoking them back in 2001-2004 in Valdosta Ga while I was college
Ali! Mitch II is coming to the Feb. 14th show in Houston.....I'm givin him up! You have been warned! LMAO
That Pappadeux happy hour definitely would’ve been an issue! Great conversation and s/o Kid Stylez💪🏾 #MoCity
