i don’t think people understand how incredible it is to tell essentially one continuous story over 4 different specials. Domino Effect 1-4 will go down (in my opinion) as the greatest series of specials of all time. Ali’s the GOAT!!!!!

This is not a comedy special. This is civil discourse beyond the TedX variety. This is community storytelling in the Griot tradition. This is life lessons and the history of a community through the life of a man.

For the why not Netflix questions... Ali said he didn't go the Netflix route because he wants to own his own material...a legacy for his children. Very wise. It's not that they slept on him, he just wasn't interested in courting them. Ali is my favorite comedian. Blessed to have seen him live once in Dania Beach, FL and have a pic to cherish. 😊

Yup now if anybody or any other platform use his lines for like Tik Tok or just showing a clip of his specials they have to pay HIM directly and nobody else gets a cut…Ppl dont understand yes Netflix is a big platform but most of the proceeds go to them while they just pay whoever a flat price, depending on who the deal went
Bcuz Dave Chappell put his specials on Netflix but he did a deal where he still get residuals from anytime someone views it no matter what platform they seen it on

I appreciate the sentiment of people "getting at Netflix" about missing out on #AliSiddiq. However, if Katt Williams has taught us nothing else about these "modern day" streaming platforms, especially as it relates to (black) comedians, it is the mathematics of how Netflix works. Also, if I recall correctly... "Netflix don't call nobody." 🤭 I for one don't want Brotha Siddiq to go back on anybody's plantation, that includes the likes of said streaming service, in my opinion. The world has to catch up to greatness and it will with Ali Siddiq. 😉

Only thing I remembered from before was the bodybuilding contest with Brown and Wynn. You really are a breath of fresh air in an industry of people doin the same shit. I wish your people my people could squash the hate. I read (audiobook) The People's History of the United States and came away with a painfully clear understanding of where and why the hate started, it didn't start with us. Them other people who live in fear of losing power and perceived superiority can only keep power by making us see each other as enemies. I love Mexican people, all of them. I recently moved from California to Arkansas and I'm sad that y'all barely live here, but I understand. This is a hatefilled red state. I don't belong but I can't move again in this life.

I watched with my father on Father's Day. He and many other loved one's have shared their prison experiences with me. Watching these specials and listening to your interviews makes me feel like you've expanded our family. Your specials bring me a lot of joy even though I know these experiences are difficult. Thank you for being a light for those who made it out.

I stumbled upon Ali Saddiq in 2018/19 when his special on Comedy Central, "Bigger Than These Bars", and I was immediately swept away by his level of storytelling, also because I had a similar experience as a young man growing up on the West Side of Chicago in the '80s & '90s. I was somewhat disappointed when Katt Williams tried to play Ali as if he were a lesser man. If Katt Williams didn't know Ali, he should pay attention to this master class! Ali Siddiq's comedy blends long-form compelling narratives, sharp observations, and meaningful commentary. His delivery is authentically witty. His ability to connect with his audience through personal stories and social insights makes his comedy entertaining and thought-provoking.

Katt Williams a fool 😅, Kevin Hart a fool 😅, but Ali Siddiq is a whole different type of funny, his stage presents & story tellN is unmatchable & undeniable. #👑💪🏿💯🔥

Yal weird for this yal know most black comedians know and support each other right… Katt Williams included despite everything he’s said publicly there’s plenty of comedians he’s helped out over the years as well as shitted on …in fact he did it to Ali which led to the boxing match that Katt declined…

I have to say… this one may be my favorite part of the Domino Effect series yet. There is a deeply thoughtful nature at the heart of this series but the element I was missing to really get it was what he talks about in this one. The compassion for others in your situation. I hope this isn’t f*cked up to say, but the moment he was talking about starting to perform for others who had nothing else hit me 3 times as hard as the moment he spoke of his sister on TDE part 2. Recognition of kinship beyond family is, for me, the first step we have to make to become a more pluralistic society; and seeing that expressed in thought and (reportedly) action really touched the core of who I try to be.
Ali Siddiq is for me already a luminary of this art form.

Ali, you are the ULTIMATE storyteller. Observations and experiences are what I want in stand-up instead of gimmicks. Real life. Congrats on your success! Western NY has 2 comedy clubs you need to perform at. Helium in Buffalo and Comedy at the Carlson in Rochester.

He talking bout them big boys, I used to work in a facility with tookie wiliams body guard, a man named Dennis brewer, man was 6’8” AT LEAST, im 6’2 220 i remember standing next to him and his bicep was as big as my head… they say ( before my time) he was able to 10 rep 525lbs fairly easily in bench and no one knows his max because that’s all the weight that was allowed. The single biggest human being I’ve ever seen in my life, I’m just grateful he was actually a very decent person at least at that time because he could have crushed me any time he chose to do so

I can’t see how any could say he is doing too much, he is shedding light on the criminal Justice system, which I have had to deal with because of my own son. I have seen first hand how one sided it is and how states, counties, police officers and some lawyers truly work together when it comes to black people. They say Justice is blind but I’m here to tell you that heffa be peeking😅

No he doesn't do too much. Comedians are mad bc they DON'T have this man's stage presence and can't tie in all of their stories to form the PERFECT STORY of their lives as he has done. No one has a 4 part special. Also, most in MY OPINION are mad they couldn't do what he has done or even thought about it 1st. Instead of applauding, uplifting, and giving this man his flowers and much respect on the come-up they hate! Continued blessings King. Keep making us laugh with your genuine storytelling. ❤

Richard Pryor was so excellent because he was ruthless with the ugly truth. There was no schtick or gimmick to him. He just told you the truth and it was hilarious. All the GOATS of my lifetime did it. Eddie, Chris, Dave, now I argue that Ali needs to be a part of that conversation. This entire series is "Exhibit A" of that Argument.
