Hey make more videos we need more channels like yours!!!!!!!! Great video!!!!!!!
Thanks for the awesome video. I could only find the 1 video on your channel. Any plans for more videos? Very informative. Thanks
Snap on 1/2 impact electric won’t go in reverse
thank you very nice vedio
Looks like I need to update my switch assembly. Drives me nuts, I have had multiple issues with the triggers on these.🤯🤦♂️
Top Shelf Innovations who sells the replacement triggers?
Mines weak I can hold the socket in my hand and the clutch slips to easy in my opinion after teardown. Is there a missing ball bearing not listed in between anvil and clutch housing?
i have found no where that has the ct761-160 my motor has failed please help me it is next to impossible to flag a truck down and would like to repair my impact
Anyone have an issue with the electronic brake? When I let go of the trigger, sometimes the anvil just keeps spinning.
Motor and switch is one unit? I think my motor is on its way out, smells like burning electrical when I use it now. I ran down 24 lug nuts on an aftermarket wheel. I didn't want to scratch/overtorque it so I used my CT761. It started to smoke on the last wheel and now it smells. It works fine however. I got a week left on my warranty I gotta make sure my Snap-On guy can warranty it asap.
Hello there, did you get it fixed? Mine is doing the same thing it smells like burned when i use it..
Where is the actual driver in the impact snap on said mine needed one but didn’t explain to me
Hey thanks, great video! Quick question, where can i get the ctr761-160 motor?
gabiel rivera any Snap-On trick should be able to order that part. If you don’t have a Snap-On dealer around than call their customer service number and they can order it and ship it to your house.
Part number on the plastic housing?
Just curious why you gave the part number for the oversized housing screws. The actual part number for the seven screws should be ME3L32
Rob Barats thank you for the input I didn’t know that part number.
Where can I get the kit for this rebuild? Cost? Thanks
Can you make one for the CTS761
My bottom don’t work or the same one
thanks for the video. pretty cool to take a look inside. keep up the good work! is the CT761A the upgrade from the ct761?
michael bolton thank you and yes sir it’s just the supersede part number. The specs should be relatively the same.
michael bolton Thank you for subscribing let us know if there is a specific tool you will like to see and I’ll see what we can do.
is it specifically snap on power tools you guys are doing tear downs on or other brands too?
michael bolton with my other job I’m purchasing mainly snap on tools so I’m breaking down what I own haha. But later on if I find more people interested in this kind of stuff I would like to do other brands as well
Comparing brands usually peaks people's interest. snap on 14.4v vs milwaukee 12v impact would be pretty cool. Also controversial lol gets people talking.
So, what usually fails on these?
Stefan Czechorski DDS the switch will usually act up after constant use
My switch is intermittent fail..... reverse cuts in & out.... sucks. My switch assembly looks different tho to. Mine is exposed circuit board
I got the same problem in ... Switch reverse
Who sells the replacement switches? Also how much are they?
@@TheHopsonSnap on. They sell the trigger and motor seperately. Around 90 dollars each. Not worth it if you ask me. You can call snap on and they ship it to your house. They do $120 full rebuild of power tools and pretty much replace everything. Way more worth it. Give them a call. Their customer service is pretty damn good.
What’s the part number on the plastic body?
CT761-100R is the replacement part number.
150b part one of the balls has come out , how do i fix this
I have found no where that has the ct761-160 my motor has failed please help me it is next to impossible to flag a truck down and would like to repair my impact
