  • The Snap on tools Ct761 cordless 3/8 Drive 14.4 impact has been a staple among mechanics for years. It's power along with it's unique set of features has made it the defacto standard with technicians across the country. But when I'm happened to pick this one up, it was pretty beat and decided to clean it. little so I know eatery would sneak inside and run the tool completely.
BUT ALAS! I have found a suitable donor, so today we're gonna have a look inside this small on cordless and see if we can't rebuild it using some new parts as well as some salvage, but you'll see

That’s for the awesome vid bro. I’m wanting to replace the anvil for one that has a built in hex socket for screwdriver bits.

Ave. Is that you? Haha. I’ve done this in the past as well on air tools. Swap out the guts to salvage a better appearance tool

AvE doesn't do tool videos any more. Only fanatical radicalized ramblings.

I'd put all the junk part back together and pay the flat rate price and get a replacement from snap on.

I have sent in mine before and it was 125 to rebuild and replace any thing with issues. They also put a new case on it.

if you take apart a milwaukee m12 stubby or a ridgid subcompact impact wrench that's a big difference in quality

Can't you just have snap on rebuild those impacts for cheaper than buying a new impact.
