Great video thank you for sharing I have been a top ranked pet sitter and dog walker with Rover and Wag! Going on 7 years this October. I'm booked out for months at a time. Great simple work. Not easy sometimes cause can be some animals are hyper and not trained but then you have the choice to not have to work with them again after. Nothing that pays well is ever really easy that's why we get paid so well. Thankfully some dogs are pretty chill. Cats do their own thing and less monitoring than dogs.
@@htowner1327it takes money to make money that hasn't changed in 1000s of years. You wouldn't pay $49 once to make $1000 in 09 days of pet sitting or $700 in 02 days like I did last week 7 years in the business? If price comes first before success prepare to fail! All I can say.
@@hynre5894iv'e done hundreds of Wag! Walks going on 7 years this year in it is good. To me it is like being paid to exercise. More you do it and build reviews more your demand increases and money you can make including tips.
in new york how do you deal with the heat and walking the dogs? dogs paws nd hot concrete is a bad mix. Do you walk them earlier in the day or? great video

It usually be that way once the summer time comes along. That’s why you can never rely on just one app with exploring more that you might’ve not heard about other UA-cam channels are talking about.
Are you paid for this video? You leave so much out. It’s very unlikely to make what you advertise. Wag takes 40%, you pay for background check and you pay to join and THEY set a limit to what you can charge clients and constantly push you to pay $149 a year for a “pro” account and all the while they also charge you if you want to promotee over other sitters. Rover doesn’t charge a membership fee but they charge for background check and they take 20% of earnings. You misrepresent the Rover guarantee - it’s not insurance they “may” cover for dog injuries over and beyond the initial $250 but your account may be disabled while they investigate. It would be wise to get your own petsitting insurance if you intend to do this as a business.

Your channel is underrated big time! Hope you get the shine you deserve asap!!
Just paid $49 to sign up for Wag and do background check. Business on Rover has been so slow, hoping Wag can get me some business here in Philly.
Hey, any updates? I just signed up for wag recently. Is it any good?
@@hynre5894 I make $300 a month on wag, a bit short of $5000
Damn 49$ to make them
Money no thanks

Is the $35 background check normal?
I been trying to a hold of someone from wag I paid for the 40 dollar fee and everything and did the background check

great video
Yeah that's really sad we all have to deal sorry system of division by economic disparities.... You know what I am saying....
Do you think you can make $1000 a week just on dog walking ?
Thing that sucks is felons can’t do this
That needs to change. Once your time is served, it should be done.
Felons might screw the pooch
Well.. I don’t think I would like a felon to come over my house to check up on my cat… no thanks
