Man your car is just beautiful, the wheels just give the car such a different look with them
Thanks man, definitely appreciate it! A lot of time and 💰 into it that's for sure! Thanks for watching🤙
Your a pretty patient guy - I would have been screaming 😱 🙀 😱 wouldn’t want to do a 160+ mph with wheel spacers
Beautiful Wheels car sounds great and fast
Thank you 🤙🏻
Wow they look great! I’ve never seen a rim do that.......
Thanks! I've heard that this was number two of over 45,000 units, so it's definitely not a common issue. I just happened to be one of the "lucky" ones 🤦🏻♂️
They look good I need to grab a set for mine!
Thanks! I especially love the look with the hub adapter!
@@KelleysGarageOfficial yes sir!
Glad it worked out third time around.....if you are anything like me it would have been most stressful getting past the turn at the end of your drive as that was where it failed before.....the brain takes over and inserts stress on you to gain confidence in it again
Thank you! That turn off the driveway and the first pass at the track was so sketchy. I'm glad it worked out because I love that they match the beadlocks. ☺
So I should be able to fit a 18x5 2.1 backspace on a 2020 hellcat Dodge Charger right? Beautiful car btw man
I don't believe so. The 2020's have a slightly larger front brake. You may want to check with the manufacturer before ordering.
I wonder, since they are custom made, can they accommodate for the widebody flares? With a negative offset or something?
I use hub adapters for that. Makes the wheel sit flush with the body.
What end up being the measurements on the front wheels? I'm getting ready to buy welds, but mine will be s71s.
They're 18x5 front runners
Chris I am a fellow Redeye owner and enjoy your content.
I ran mine in the Horsepower wars and MSHS two weeks
ago in Orlando . A spectator at the event told me about your
channel . I plan on running the 352 Shootout ( weather permitting )
In Gainesville next weekend 4/17/2021. Will you be racing in the
event as well ? My short term goal with the car is a 9.99 or better
on stock power . No engine mods at all. I started with 12.05 off the
Showroom floor with the Pirelli P Nothings and have been able to
work it down to a 10.19 so far thru various Tire , wheel , suspension, and
weight reduction mods. Hope you can make it next week. Keep up
the good work !
Thanks for the comment! I wish I could make it next week. Weather isn't looking great and my car isn't up and running again quite yet. Currently making some changes so I'm not sure if it'll be ready by Saturday. Hope to meet you at a future event though. I plan to be back at OSW in the next few weeks!
It sucks that the event got rained out. Going to try again in October!
I also have a red eye and would love to know what exactly you did to make the car that fast stock
To date I've done the following:
Jokerz Ported blower (full race build)
Gearhead 108mm throttle body
2.75 upper only
1300 ID injectors
Kenne Bell dual boost-a-pump
E90
180 thermo
ARH headers
Catless mids
AWE exhaust
DIRS diff brace
Cradle lock out kit
Full AAD drag kit
DSS carbon fiber driveshaft
17" Weld S70 with 315/50r17 Mickey Thompson E/T Street R's
18" Weld S70 skinnies
Nitrous Outlet plate kit (100 shot)
And it's currently ripped apart, doing a FI interchiller install. 🙃
Hi i have wide body redeye just bought welds 17x10 back space is 5.7 and the same tires do you have do you think would look good ?
Im planning on ordering same 17x11 but with 6.2 backspacing
You think you could of got away with a 1/4 inch spacer ? Got a 2018 got a deal on some 18x5 weld s71
I think they should clear the brakes if you have an 18'. If you intend on running a spacer, I highly recommend installing longer studs.
Question? - How did you get your rear Welds balanced? Did you use the beads or the traditional weight method.
Counteract DIYK-4 Do It Yourself Tire/Wheel Balancing Beads Kit - Off -Road, Light Duty Truck Tires, (4) 4oz DIY Bead Bags, (4) Valve Caps and Cores, (1) Core Remover, Injector Bottle

When you break the bead all that goe inside the tire. Tire changer wont like that
Hey man what back space did you get for your welds on the rear ?? because i got a 30/6.7 but they don’t fit on my hellcat sadly
5.8 I believe
Thank you man, did you have to use an adapter or spacer?
@Jose Benitez negative. No spacer needed with proper back spacing.
@@KelleysGarageOfficial ohh okayy thank you man do you recommend me using a adapter since they don’t fit?
@Jose Benitez no one is going to like this lol... I currently run a 1.25" adapter cause I like the way it makes the car sit. I recommend going with a Titan adapter if that's the route you choose to go.
How much air pressure are you running in those Mickey Thompson front runners? Thank you.
80psi
@Kelley's Garage Thanks. I'm running actual 18x4.5 Demon wheels on mine and have been nervous running high pressure in them. I could not find any maximum pressure ratings for the wheels. They are forged, but I'm still anxious about it...
@artillerybuff2000 the pressure rating will be on the tire. I don't believe wheels have a pressure rating..
@Kelley's Garage I'm not talking about the MT's rating of 95 psi @ 1650 lbs, I'm talking about the wheels, and yes they all have load ratings. Not talked about too much for cars because they typically never exceed 35 or 40 psi, but we're running super high pressure tires (BTW metal valve stems only on these!). I have trucks and RV's that need to run at 110 psi and if you use the wrong wheel you have a potential bomb on your hands!
What diameter and width are your fronts? And backspacing?
The front are Weld S70 18x5 with 2.1 backspacing. 😎
@@KelleysGarageOfficial thanks Im about to order S77 17x11 backspaced 6.2 for the rear is that the same numbers you ordered ? (Besides the 77)
and where did you get your adapter for the skinnies to clear the brakes ?
Mine are 17x11 with a 5.8 backspacing.
Ordered the adapter off ebay. Make sure to buy the Titan brand. They have great quality adapters.
Not a shinning moment for weld wheels be careful
