I once was running around the map in the Puma (the techtree one) looking for that one annoying 3-inch gun carrier. Turned a corner, then it was right there, aiming for me. Shot my transmission. So I shot it's gun, then it charged me head on. Disabled both its tracks. I was wondering where to shoot since it was facing me, then I saw it. That tiny slit on the right upper front of the thing, probably the MG port. So I shot it. Crew knocked out. Good times.
Not like I would searching for enemies, but that final shoot should not enter the crew comparment like that from that angle, especially with an intact fuze. Just for note: Those german mg ball mounts could act as a weakpoint if a shell is striking head on due to the fact that the mount is held in place by some large screws which upon failure could let the ball blown in. However by that angle the ball would be forced against the front armor and would be unlikelly the let the round get in. Much more likelly the round would knock loose the exterior armor cover which would direct the round ouside. That Panther got Gaijined.
I personally enjoy the weak spot, it’s more fun for the non German team to have something to shoot at. Of course you could play the Panther D but the trade off is the turret traverse. Fair enough IMO.
I get it isn't the most realistic but considering it's one of the very few weakspots a sherman has against a panther I'd say it's not something that should be nerfed.
Since the angle of initial impact was solid I would assume that the round would go through the ball mount without any problem and penetrate the machine gun port.
I was in a Tiger E up against a jumbo and I was able to beat him but angling and even though it took a few shots I was able to hit his mg port and kill him
I believe he says "On one" meaning he is sending the shell down range but not 100% sure. I think this is done so the loader knows to reload and that the commander knows the breach is empty so he call out to load a diffemt shell type if needed
@@OnimoIndustries you’ll need to go into your button configuration and bind a key for spotting. This guy has V bound for his so he will look through binos or scope then hit V. The player you spot will be marked on the mini map for so many seconds for your team to see. You should also be able to see a 1st person view marker over the player you just spotted as well.
@hambone Phew. That's good to hear. There are some wehraboos who want the tiger to go down in BR again for real. And that's insane. Tigers are in a strong position now anyway with their decreased BR, lowering it again would make them even stronger.
The tank crew footage makes it more entertaining and really shows an atmosphere for how even simple edit can have the best effects, well done!

How do you spot? Is it automatic or do you have to fire tracers or regular ammo?
If youre a LT, find a target, hver over it with a scope or binos, press V. You have spotted an enemy tank for your team
