Granddad saying "your breakfast's getting cold del boy" is brilliantly timed and delivered 😂
Rodney's line to del boy in the pub was hilarious. "You hear that Rodney she's had two husband's die on her" "Yeah? One more and she keeps the match ball" 😂😂😂
That wasn't in the pub in was in the scene
@@archieindoorschallis2885 was the pub
"Your breakfast is getting cold Del Boy."
Grandad had the best lines lmaooooo.
My favourite is in the episode, Diamonds are for Heather. Delboy is playing with a kid and Rodney and grandad are watching from a far. They make a joke about Del Boy and start laughing. While this happens, the football rolls to them and del comes to get it and notices both Rodney and grandad laughing. He says, what’s so funny. Rodney says we were just talking about wallys. Grandad adds “ur name cropped up”. So funny man.
“I had to get up anyway, I was wanted on the phone” Damn that doesn’t even get a laugh, seriously underrated line from del
🤣🤣 It's canned laughter mate lol
It would've been up to the producer or editor or whoever does it to put the laughter in there.
@@macman975 it's not canned, these scenes were infront of a live studio audience, the loudest laughs from each segment were picked for the final screenings.
@@Fatmanonhedge Not every scene, or probably episode, is going to have a live studio audience. You may get to the editing and find out you haven't got what you needed etc In this clip it very much sounds like a laughing track to me.
Danny max no even the scenes what weren’t filmed in front of a live audience were played in front of one for the laughs. You can most certainly hear that’s it’s not a laugh track
Danny max only occasionally was a track used. Majority was live audience, so get some knowledge before talking shit dumbass.
_"Your breakfasts getting cold Del Boy . . . ."_
Lennard Pearce knew how to deliver the most simplest of lines. Like he said ' even I have to think about that' when they found out Rodney was going out with an older woman and Del derided rodney about thiat. i had a good laugh.
they left out the best bit
"eat your mushrooms, Del."
lol or hold up im comin wiv ya!
When you start laughing before you start watching the scene because you already know how funny it is 😂😂😂
There will never ever be a duo like Del Boy and Rodney their characters were made for each other they perfected comedy timing.
The way in which these sketches are written and timed is pure genius. No one could recreate these to the same standard.😂
Daniel Anderson
Comedy has gone TITS UP. Last brilliant thing in the Isles was Rock & Chips and the untouchable Father Ted.
The delivery and characters as well. All characters in it were born to do OFAH
“Pauline untie Del will ya, he’s wanted” LMAO
Either it was one time Trigger called him Rodney ( 😂 doubt it ) or it's still early on in the series & he's still fairly tolerant of being called Dave, hence there's no sigh or anything.
John sullivan is the man who wrote this n all the other episodes what a genius he was R.I.P
Also the geniuses that were Ray Galton and Alan Simpson (writers of Steptoe and Son which Sullivan was a huge fan of) as he nicked quite a few plots and jokes from that series.
@@rnw2739 Was just about to say, like the ones he blatantly ripped straight from Steptoe and son.
And if you don't see any similarities, i would strongly suggest you check out Minder with George Cole and Dennis Waterman. Some of them border on copyright theft..
To have that consistency again and again the comedy is untouchable
Give us examples of the copying please
I love Rodney's hatred for Pauline
I bet Del wishes he was still with her rather than Raquel xD
She was pretty hot though.
Grandads timing here is comedy gold
Mucke su jedna od mojih omiljenih serija. Oni su urnebesni. Po meni je genije Del Boj. 😂💞
Rodney's Nazi salutes are hilarious
IKR, why was he doing it though
Cos he was NEVER a Nazi. @@rorymckernan502
@@rorymckernan502 Because the woman that Del is with is very controlling and manipulative. Can't remember exactly what she did but Rodney doesn't like her
Because she is acting like a Nazi basically
Holy shit he better hope he doesn't have a career revival or this scene is going to be dragged up.
I feel so sad that no one my age knows or likes this masterpiece of a comedy series but I'm also glad that my dad brought me up watching this love it
bit of an assumption isn't it?
How could they not know? It's on GOLD every day of the week. :P
it's on netflix. britbox, you can get the complete DVD set
+NOAH HAYTON
You shouldn't make such sweeping statements but you not know anyone personally but I'm 27 and I know it 🤷🏽♀️ lots of people get brought up on stuff Thier parents likrd
Wish I'd seen this when it first came out. Might have put off the idea of getting married.
Best tv comedy of all time...
And unfortunately with the way the world is now there won't be anything like this ever again
I totally agree, with you. I wish that, they show Only Fools, And Horses, as they are now. Del Boy would be about 80 years old, Rodney would be about, in his mid 60s, Damien would be about, in his mid 40s, and Rodney's daughter, Joan would be about 30 years old, had John Sullivan lived, and he would still be writing Only Fools, And Horses.
I've watched Only Fools and Horses when it first came out. Watched many, many times after. I still laugh and enjoy it today. The best comedy act ever. John Sullivan, genius. All the cast are ionic too.
The late great John sullivan was one eck of a comedy writer the lines and timing is perfect in every episode and still funny today
When Del came in to answer the phone....he was back to being Granville again....!!....😂😆❤❤
I thought the title was "There's no calories in weed, killer" and i was waiting for their pot smoking cousin nicknamed Killer to show up.
“Your breakfast getting cold Del Boy”. - Comedy timing to perfection by grandad. 2:38
There was something great with these three characters, Del, Rodney and Grandad, it became a soap in series 7 IMO. Brilliant Scene :)
yeah so true. i loved the old granddad and his humour.
joel dead right..
It all went wrong when Raquel and then Cassandra came on the scene!
I thought it got even better when they expanded the cast
Zippy series 1-3 was its golden period though. Grandad was an easier character to love imo,, just something off with when uncle albert arrrived. Series 5 was the last great series, after that it bacame as someone stated above a soap. Watch an episode like cash and curry or a slow bus to chingford before watching say mother nature or time on our hands,, the formers were when it was pure whealing and dealing which was its premise,, im starting to think they should have ended it in s7 tbh.
"hows trig keeping"?.....:-D
There's a film on the telly in a minute. Lots of people get killed in it.
Uncle Albert was tremendous, but Grandad was every bit as funny!
yes my two favourite characters!
Grandad was funnier imo
i'd buy that robe, its top class
i like how they went to see their aunt and actually went to the wrong flat. But the lady in the flat gave them to eat etc not knowing who they were....she thought they knew her ! Typical John SULLIVAN
jessie james that shepherds pie looked delicious proper aunty cooking
It was the right place, but their aunt had moved out.
Can I ask you something? Who are you? Xd
Grandad- you said come down anytime
Aunt- when was that then?
Grandad- 1947 😅
Brilliant episode
Your breakfast's getting cold Del Boy 😂😂😂😂
I love it I wish they did more....
Breakfast is getting cold Del boy lol
Love these but I've never seen this episode. What's it called?
swish swosh "The Second Time Around". series 1 episode 4
my favourite sitcom
That's triggkeeping 😂😂😂😂
Antie rose has moved, well whos this then... God knows, love it
Yeah that scene is hilarious. After Del gives her some money for keep " Well that's very nice of you. Can I ask you something? Who are you? 😂 "
Thought I'd seen them all but I don't ever remember this episode.
Yh this was like the 4th or 5th episode off series 1 I believe
Amazing
Tbf Pauline was 🔥
I had to get up anyway, I was wanted on the phone. 😂
Fittest bird del had!
Dunno prime Raquel in 1990 1991 was just as fit, if anything more girlfriend material
love this
Pauline reminds me of Kim Tate from Emmerdale
I like Rodney and Del
I genuinly have no recollection of this episode. Can anyone tell me which series and episode it is? Thanks
It's from the first series, but I don't know which episode sorry.
The second time around
Brilliant 😎
Brilliantly done comsdy
Love F & H however, few people 'probably' recognise John Sullivan's scripts as being heavily influenced by the Steptoe & son scripts.,.still funny though.
I can see that OFAH was responsible for most of the memes we see on the internet today
Fuck memes, ofah is class
That’s why I keep myself to myself and not get into an abusive controlling contract. No slaggy baggy for me my laaad
This is funny
That was hot, David !
what episode is this
the second time around I believe its called
Hilarious. Ha ha ha ha
Classic:-)
I wonder was she really going to kill him
They sniffing glue since does day's...
Do you remember when the BBC was a TV station and not a propaganda machine stop paying the license until the BBC is reformed
We all miss those days
Ah, the days when the show was funny. This was before Rodney started wearing suits and acting like the character from the time travel show, before Del was a yuppie or married.
Good night
What's the name of the episode again please?
The Second time around it's off Series 1👍
you can shoot that scene because that reminds me about parline Harris you can shoot that scene as the original cover of Eleanor carey and parline Harris
Pauline was in an episode of the proffesionals too...odd fact ..
and then British TV comedy shows took a nosedive
Alan - please say you're joking?!
Kids now watch these mind numbing American sitcoms now
The Office, Alan Partridge, Father Ted...
What’s the name of this episode
The second time around
I love the frandad until he died😢
Frandad*
and now you hate him?
I love the Frandad too 😢 😂😂😂
HAHAHA
love grandad your breakfasts getting cold del boy
+Lolo Leela brilliant, just brilliant
Love that too, Leonard Pearce knew how to deliver a line perfectly.
Understated, deadpan...just brilliant
Grandad was so sharp and crafty. He knew how to fuel the fire, sitting there all innocent.
Ang about I’m coming wiv ya
Ang abart.
John sleeping now
👍
John Sullivan is the best way to Peckham one day with Nicolas Lyndhurst and Cassandra and Raquel Damian and del David Jason and Rodney trotter

The series went down hill once Grandad died and they started making the longer episodes
