- Welcome back to the manufacture
I am Patrick.
In this episode i am making my own drive shaft for my double bass drum pedal. The old drive shaft that came with the pedal gained a lot of play in it so i decided to built my own.
Inspired by ACD Drums and Pearl Drums i designed my own cardan joints .
Everything is selfmade exept for the bearings which i bought online and some screws that i recycled from the old drive shaft.
Material: Aluminium
I hope you enjoy the video

Nice
Damn! That was very nice, sir! Wish I had your skills hahaha my old pearl need one of those! Cheers from Brazil, mate!
hey man thanks for the kind words.
Would you happen to share the schematics for making these?
Cool
2 things, Very impressed with your ambition, 1/2 way through the video I said to myself "screw that $130-$200 is worth not having to do this stuff". Also what kind of pedal is that you are using? Once again, very nice work
Haha thanks. It is made of aluminium so the filing was okay compared to filing steel :D. Its a magnum pedal, at least that is what it was. I modified it pretty hard. Meaning i converted it to longboards and made a direct drive for it too. The videos are also on my channel
