I agree with everything you said. I’m also a current medical student and if you’re why isn’t big enough and if your why isn’t people, the stress, learning and all the hard work you put into this field isn’t going to be worth the money. You have to love this. Thank you for sharing ❤️
I'm a medic as well and I feel that everyone's reason is personal to them and as long as you are a good doctor who strives to be the best possible doctor that you can be then that's all that should matter.

I identify with your reasons for wanting to be a Doctor.
I passed out on a chance to study medicine after high school because i was full of myself - I didn't have the patience to study for all those years and i thought Doctors were over glorified. Little did i know that medicine is my passion.
I am in love with the human body and all it's functions.
And now i have a real passion for helping people to live a healthy life because I believe that health is indeed wealth.
I was born to be a doctor......
Thank you for this! I'm currently a junior in college, and for the past two years, I've been going back and forth between being a doctor or not. I don't have a competitive GPA, I'm afraid of the stress it would put on my relationship, I'm worried for my future family, etc. And I always hear the statement of not wanting to help people is enough reason to be a doctor, but you helped articulate what I've been thinking but haven't been able to put into words
If you really love something, you should totally go after it. Everything in life takes work, but it won’t feel like work if you really love something. You totally got this if you want to be a doctor! Good luck!!
You are so BEAUTIFUL. I just discovered your page and started listening to you because I love listening to Dr. Caroline Leaf and you sounded a little bit like her. lol. I personally am not pursuing a degree in nursing anymore but the advise you shared can be helpful for anyone. I have always kind of had a passion for helping people but after working in the Customer Service industry for a couple yrs starting high school and pursuing college education, I am currently taking a break from it all as some health issues rose up in my life. I still enjoy giving advice and or helping people in any way that I can but not so hands on anymore. I am so thankful for all that I have learned so far and hope to continue my education again doing something that I may be more passionate about. I will figure it out as I go. Haha. We appreciate you for being so open and sharing so much. It's def helpful. I know you will be a blessing to many as a Doctor. I have a cousin who is like a sister who is an Ent Surgeon and her husband who is an Er doctor. I know she had always had a heart for helping people, was intelligent, and loved medicine. She is one of the only people I know who pursued a career she said she would since a very young age. She is almost 34 , has been in school all her life, and just completed her specialization. Both her and her husband went through the Army too. By the grace of God, they are some of the most servant hearted people I know. I also have a couple family members who are Nurses. I admire them and realize that it was definitely not my calling. I think a passion for something will take someone very far. Like you shared, we need to follow it and our gifts are a blessing from God. All praise and glory to God for anything good found in us. Much blessings!!

Hey Grace. I always wanted to be a Doctor from childhood. Unfortunately, I was not granted medicine here in Nigeria. I'm currently in my 3rd year studying medicine. But I have discovered that my passion to help, heal and impact people is still there. Can I get into a medical school with my Bsc in microbiology and how long will it take me to get an MD

I needed this cuz i'm thorn between med school and biotechnology, i like both paths due to the great interest i have for pathology and the fact that i could become a researcher being able to search focusing on diseases , on the other hand med school has many responsibilities while and after studying . Could u make a video about med school alternatives so i could make a choice finally? 💕💕💕

The reason why most people go into medicine is for the Money, and the future assurance of being able to earn money.
And that takes away the stress of financial insecurity.
Most who say they are not in it for the money or security are liars.

Im 15 y old and I am starting to prepare for med school. You know, you have to do a lot for it. For now, I go to Red Cross, but I want to do more. Can you please give me some advice on what else I should do? I am from Slovakia.

I’d say to just try and do some shadowing maybe for a week or even just a day with your GP or in hospital to see what it’s like to be a doctor.

My father is a doctor and I he used to take me to the hospital where he was is charge so I know that pretty Well. That's why I decided to be a doctor. In the school I visit they run DofE. I want to go for silver medal next year. Would that count?
