I'm a doctor myself. I wasn't really planning to go into med school. My original plan was to go abroad for a higher salary. I only enrolled because I got bored being a medtech. But looking back, after all the blood, sweat and tears, after going through the hell of residency, I can say it's really worth it. It's true, the money is not really big as what others believe. BUT if you're a doctor, be it a general practitioner or a specialist, looking for a job is not difficult. Our country needs doctors and there will be always hospitals who would need your service. You won't go jobless, I swear! But then again, what Aura said was true. If you don't have the heart for it, you won't survive. I just would like to add that if you don't have perseverance, it's gonna be harder.

Back then, I told my family I wanted to be a doctor and that there's no other career for me. Now, I'm not so sure. I still want to become a doctor, I just don't want to give up on other things like my hobbies and takot na takot talaga ako because I think I won't make it. I have some shaky confidence in my abilities and the idea of pursuing it and giving up half way because of the stress, the suffering and my incompetence scares me. A lot. Our college professor told us someone even went mad because of the pressure. But even so I still want to do it. Hopefully by the grace of God, this overwhelmingly intimidating aspiration of mine comes true. Thank you ate for your advice. Your videos help so much.

This is what I really needed. I am registered medical technologist but unemployed. I just passed the the boards last March 2018. I didn't apply for any job and just took the time to think if I am really going to pursue medicine. Di ko kasi maintindihan sa sarili ko dati if ginagawa ko lang ba to kasi gusto ng mama ko or what but after watching your videos narealize ko na gusto ko maging doctor not because it's my mother's dream for me. Gusto ko maging doctor at kakayanin ko. Luckily, I took the NMAT last october (actually pang third take ko na kasi yung first 2 takes ko hindi ko pinaghandaanan. I only took the exam bcos my mom was pressuring mo take it. So, sa mga magtatake palang ng NMAT pls pls prepare for it) and got a good score hindi naman sobrang taas pero pasok na sa medschool na pinagpipilian ko. Thank you, Doc! Although she makes some pretty valid points, med school is doable, it's very doable and if you feel like you want it, none of what she says should matter, med school shapes you, you don't go in perfect, it forces you to embrace certain qualities.

Honey Rodrin pls dont wear out the word "pre-med" any course and student can be a "premed" course/student so pls. only use pre med if you are ACTUALLY in med school. cause "pre=before" med school. what if you didnt go to med school would you still use your course as a premed course??
The 5th one is actually the greatest reason why i want to pursue medicine. I can't honest see my self doing any other job except being a doctor. That is why everytime my parents would ask me whether i do have another preferred course, i really can't think of any. Anyway, these are so helpful thank you😍

I have been in London for almost 17 years now and I have travelled the world and have seen and-experience great things in life cos I end up as a nurse rather than my childhood dream. No regret for me cos I'm still serving humanity .
I only started watching your videos because I recently decided to pursue Medicine.. It helped me a lot. Im not getting any younger I have to make smarter choices.. I don't have the means nor the money just yet but i'll work harder to be ready in 2020.. 28 years old by then but no matter how late i'll achieve it.. I like your videos because it gives me glimpses on the medical world(real and pure) and makes me prepared and braver i earn a lot in my current job but i am not as happy as seeing myself as a doctor.. I am really thankful for stumbling upon your videos related to medschool. I was once a medical student but sadly had to stop to give way for my sister's education. 6 years passed, I am now 29 and currently working as a pharmaceutical rep, but the desire to back to school still lingers. Luckly, my sister have already graduated and my parents are encouraging me to go back. Close friends and my covered drs have their mixed opinion. I am 26 years old when I entered med school, and I regret it after passing the licensure exam. Many hospitals denied me because they only wanted less than 35 years old applicants for residency training. This happened 2008, di pa si Duterte ang presidente. Nasa US na ako ngayon 3 years jobless. Nag aaral pa rin sa USMLE.
Basta iniisip ko nalang na one day, kapag nasa ospital ako, either naadmit or may sinamahan lang... Ayoko mafeel yung regret and sasabihin kong “Alam mo ba dati, pangarap ko yan”

And everything you said natamaan ako except for the money part first of all I don’t like school yes totoo yung sinabi mo some students get good grades pero we don’t like school. Second, my personality is like “idgaf” or “bahala ka dyan”. Third, I really don’t like studying then lastly ngayon ko lang talaga na realize na hindi ko talaga ‘passion’ maging doktor. There'd be nights wherein I'd just talk to myself and to God asking for help, then I'd cry because of the confusion. As much as possible, I'd like to earn money na for my mom and I, since my when my father had passed away two years ago, we have been struggling financially. Now I know. I have other dreams. Other careers to pursue, and you just helped me and made me brave enough to step out of this thing I'm obviously not compatible with. I am an introvert myself and would rather prefer working alone, that's why I chose nursing as my premed degree than BS biology, for the sake of learning how to deal and be of service to people. Though most people say that you will be able to learn how to deal with people in the long run as you reach probably in your residency, I really want to be more natural and a little bit charismatic because even in our duties during nursing school, it is really hard to deal with patients especially those hard headed ones, you really need to explain to them one-by-one why you need to take maintenance medications, its side effects, other health teaching methods and etc. What I really envision myself is to become a dependable and trustworthy doctor. Thank you po for your videos, it really inspired me to go on in my journey to become a doctor I always dreamed of. :)

Hi i am actually 1 2 and 3 but i cant really imagine myself not being a doctor in the future. I keep on searching about how long it takes to be a doctor, how to be a successful doctor, etc. I really want to be a doctor but i am also hesitating because i keep on seeing these signs that being a doctor isnt for me. But believe me i am doing my best not to be lazy, not to hate people, and not to hate studying. I am a grade 10 student and i believe that i can still manage to change and be a doctor someday. So yeah even though those signs are reflecting me, i will try my best to change it and pursue to be a successful doctor

(pero parati kong naiisip na antagal pa nun at marami akong pwedeng magawa sa labas ng field na to). reason number 5: may iba akong gustong gawin, alam na alam ko iyon. pero ngayon palang medyo kinukumbinsi ko na ang sarili ko na sa medicine talaga ang aabutin ko. hindi naman masama kung iisipin. mahilig akong mag basa at walang problema sa pag-aaral. pero pag dating na sa economics, animals, astronomy.. talagang ang saya ko. yung tipong okay lang na maupo ako sa loob ng kwarto buong araw kapag tungkol dun ang mga binabasa ko. Pero ito: kung mag e-environmental science ako, wala daw masyadong trabaho (?) kung something related naman sa astronomy, masyadong unrealistic para sa probinsyanang tulad ko na wala namang masyadong opportunities sa paligid niya. kaya minsan naiisip ko na maging practical nalang. natatakot ako na baka hanggang imagination nalang ako. huhu i need help..

Magge-grade 11 palang ako ngayong June at GAS ang kukunin kong strand for three reasons: 1 is that yun palang ang strand na open sa highschool ko (nagdidiskarte pang makasingit ng extension sa campus si principal), 2 is that ayaw ko pang mag-aral sa syodad kung di pa ako college, and 3 ay dahil kailangan ko talagang i-explore ang ibang open oportunities kasi what if talaga di para sakin ang pagiging doktor? Tamad ako, procrastinator ako, pero honestly, my thinking of becoming a doctor is passionate to the point that my only other option is showbiz (lol taas mangarap no?) Kaya feeling ko na two years later, I really will take this course, and thank you very much, doktAURA, for making me more sure with what I'm about to expect :)

I knew right away after watching some of your vids that you are going to be a huge inspiration to me. I want to be a pediatrecian when i grow up because i loooove kids. My biggest dream is to have an organization of my own that help kids of financial support so that they will still have a fair share of treatment even tho they dont have much of the money. Its going to be a very long road but if you are passionate of your dream, time is nothing. I am going to be a grade 10 student (this june). Hi, New subscriber here. buti nalang napanood ko 'to, matagal ko ng pangarap maging doctor, actually nag-start siya nung pinangarap kong maging Neurology, psychology kasi course ko and connected naman yon, then gusto ko naman maging Surgeon noong na-operahan yung lola ko kasi parang nakaka-inspire, then gusto ko din maging cardiologist for obvious reason, pero di dahil about sa earning ng money. nahihirapan ako mag-decide kasi actually, lahat ng tao sa paligid ko hindi naniniwala na magiging doctor ako, pero iniisip ko nalang na papatunayan ko nalang na kaya ko, pangalawa, mahirap din kasi hindi naman kami mayaman, hindi rin ako mahilig mag-aral kasi nakakapag memorize lang ako ng something kapag interesado lang talaga ako, ayoko din na nagiging busy ako or napupuyat sa pag-aaral actually naantok ako kapag may binabasa ako at kahit may exam kami kinabukasan tinutulugan ko lang, pero pangarap ko maging doctor and hopefully magbago lahat yon kapag pumasok na ako sa medschool :( at yung pinaka-last is yung family ko, sobrang halaga nila sakin, mag-isa (unica ija) lang kasi ako kaya gusto ko ng malaking pamilya, pero paano ako makakapag asawa? at makakaroon ng pamilya kapag nasa medschool nako? mukhang di nga para sakin ang medschool. :( i want the M.D for my last name!

And now, I'm so excited to take BS in Medical Technology. Trabaho muna ng konti kasi ayoko humingi ng pera sa kuya ko at ayokong isang deretsahang aral ako, break muna konti. In fact, nag iipon na ako ng pera sa bangko para yon ang ipapangtustos ko sa Medicine, minsan sumaside line ako sa pag loload sa kapit bahay, atsaka mga baon kong sobra tinitipid ko talaga. I passed all five so I should pursue? It has always been the thing I wanted to do since I was five and couldn't because I got distracted with life, like my Mom couldn't obviously support my studies financially, I had sisters and brothers that needed education as well, was on the verge of awkward puberty etc. etc.....and now I'm fifty with children that I need to send to school but still can't forget my first love, medicine. I'm not distracted anymore tho, so I'm thinking of going back to uni before I find myself in bed looking back at my life and regretting what I didn't accomplish, dying. I am currently in medschool and gusto ko na talaga mag quit as of now, and i happen to see this vid rn and its still my dream to be a doctor pero pagod na talaga ako walang wala yung pagod ko nung pre med compared to what i am experiencing in med school takot lang ako mag quit kase feeling ko once na umalis ako sa med sa kangkungan ako pupulutin i don't know how to start over or kung magiging successful ba ako kase this is the only thing i'm good at ay ang magaral and here in the phils. This really helps me like a lot!!! So I'm a shs student this upcoming pandemic school year pero laban padin! I'll take STEM no matter what but still undecided what type of doctor I'll be getting pero labannn. My mother's dream for me if to become a lawyer or a doctor, we may not have the money but I will do my best to get through this without stressing my family about this kase ako yung panganay then pupuno lang ao sa gastusin. Tho I may not that smart pero I do study hard lalo nat exams or quizes. I really want to pursue medicine someday, magSHS palang po ako pero alam ko na di namin afford kung magdo-doctor man ako. Kailangan yung course na kukunin ko sa College is makakatulong sa fam ko kaya naghahanap hanap po ako ng gusto kong course, Nursing sana kaso di kaya ng sahod eh tapos baka di narin ako kayang pag-aralin ng parents ko sa med school. Alam ko pong pwede akong kumuha ng scholarships or sponsors para i-push kaso ang iniisip ko po walang magpapa-aral sa kapatid ko kung magme-med school ako since magco-college na siya nun. Kaya kung yung parents ng iba sa inyo na supportive and afford naman i-push nyo kasi maraming nangangarap pero hindi kaya. 😊

i HATE school. i hate studying grammar, solving math problems, etc. but science in general (medicine to be specific) is my deepest passion. im contemplating between business and medicine because most of the ppl in my family are businessmen. i’d go into business for money and hate it, but i want to go to medicine because i genuinely love it, help pls huhu.

I'm a doctor myself. I wasn't really planning to go into med school. My original plan was to go abroad for a higher salary. I only enrolled because I got bored being a medtech. But looking back, after all the blood, sweat and tears, after going through the hell of residency, I can say it's really worth it. It's true, the money is not really big as what others believe. BUT if you're a doctor, be it a general practitioner or a specialist, looking for a job is not difficult. Our country needs doctors and there will be always hospitals who would need your service. You won't go jobless, I swear! But then again, what Aura said was true. If you don't have the heart for it, you won't survive. I just would like to add that if you don't have perseverance, it's gonna be harder.

Back then, I told my family I wanted to be a doctor and that there's no other career for me. Now, I'm not so sure. I still want to become a doctor, I just don't want to give up on other things like my hobbies and takot na takot talaga ako because I think I won't make it. I have some shaky confidence in my abilities and the idea of pursuing it and giving up half way because of the stress, the suffering and my incompetence scares me. A lot. Our college professor told us someone even went mad because of the pressure. But even so I still want to do it. Hopefully by the grace of God, this overwhelmingly intimidating aspiration of mine comes true. Thank you ate for your advice. Your videos help so much.

This is what I really needed. I am registered medical technologist but unemployed. I just passed the the boards last March 2018. I didn't apply for any job and just took the time to think if I am really going to pursue medicine. Di ko kasi maintindihan sa sarili ko dati if ginagawa ko lang ba to kasi gusto ng mama ko or what but after watching your videos narealize ko na gusto ko maging doctor not because it's my mother's dream for me. Gusto ko maging doctor at kakayanin ko. Luckily, I took the NMAT last october (actually pang third take ko na kasi yung first 2 takes ko hindi ko pinaghandaanan. I only took the exam bcos my mom was pressuring mo take it. So, sa mga magtatake palang ng NMAT pls pls prepare for it) and got a good score hindi naman sobrang taas pero pasok na sa medschool na pinagpipilian ko. Thank you, Doc! Although she makes some pretty valid points, med school is doable, it's very doable and if you feel like you want it, none of what she says should matter, med school shapes you, you don't go in perfect, it forces you to embrace certain qualities.

Honey Rodrin pls dont wear out the word "pre-med" any course and student can be a "premed" course/student so pls. only use pre med if you are ACTUALLY in med school. cause "pre=before" med school. what if you didnt go to med school would you still use your course as a premed course??
The 5th one is actually the greatest reason why i want to pursue medicine. I can't honest see my self doing any other job except being a doctor. I have been in London for almost 17 years now and I have travelled the world and have seen and-experience great things in life cos I end up as a nurse rather than my childhood dream. No regret for me cos I'm still serving humanity .

I was once a medical student but sadly had to stop to give way for my sister's education. 6 years passed, I am now 29 and currently working as a pharmaceutical rep, but the desire to back to school still lingers. I am 26 years old when I entered med school, and I regret it after passing the licensure exam. Many hospitals denied me because they only wanted less than 35 years old applicants for residency training. This happened 2008, di pa si Duterte ang presidente. Nasa US na ako ngayon 3 years jobless. Nag aaral pa rin sa USMLE.
Basta iniisip ko nalang na one day, kapag nasa ospital ako, either naadmit or may sinamahan lang... Ayoko mafeel yung regret and sasabihin kong “Alam mo ba dati, pangarap ko yan”

I’m still a highschooler and my family wants me to become a doctor, I’m still young naman so like go with the flow lang ako pero lately I kept thinking about my future, about what I want to spend my life doing tapos I asked my sister about this and my sister advised me na wag nalang ako mag doctor. And it’s not like I don’t want to be a doctor it’s just that I don’t know what I want to be. Tapos nagsearch ako ng mga infos about being a doctor and I found this video. And everything you said natamaan ako except for the money part first of all I don’t like school yes totoo yung sinabi mo some students get good grades pero we don’t like school. Second, my personality is like “idgaf” or “bahala ka dyan”. Third, I really don’t like studying then lastly ngayon ko lang talaga na realize na hindi ko talaga ‘passion’ maging doktor.

Thank you so much Ate! This has been so helpful! I've been having this dilemma for at least 2 whole years already and its making me so anxious about my future. There'd be nights wherein I'd just talk to myself and to God asking for help, then I'd cry because of the confusion. As much as possible, I'd like to earn money na for my mom and I, since my when my father had passed away two years ago, we have been struggling financially. Now I know. I have other dreams. Other careers to pursue, and you just helped me and made me brave enough to step out of this thing I'm obviously not compatible with. I don't even know why I've been holding on so much on the thought of becoming a doctor. Maybe I was just blinded by my own peers' dreams.

I am an introvert myself and would rather prefer working alone, that's why I chose nursing as my premed degree than BS biology, for the sake of learning how to deal and be of service to people. Though most people say that you will be able to learn how to deal with people in the long run as you reach probably in your residency, I really want to be more natural and a little bit charismatic because even in our duties during nursing school, it is really hard to deal with patients especially those hard headed ones, you really need to explain to them one-by-one why you need to take maintenance medications, its side effects, other health teaching methods and etc. What I really envision myself is to become a dependable and trustworthy doctor. Thank you po for your videos, it really inspired me to go on in my journey to become a doctor I always dreamed of. :)

As a marketing graduate, these are also my top 5 reasons why I shouldn't pursue marketing career. I became honest with myself and right then, I decided to be a doctor. It is not something you do because of praise and honor, but it will be a vocation that you will live out for the rest of your life.

Hi i am actually 1 2 and 3 but i cant really imagine myself not being a doctor in the future. I keep on searching about how long it takes to be a doctor, how to be a successful doctor, etc. I really want to be a doctor but i am also hesitating because i keep on seeing these signs that being a doctor isnt for me. But believe me i am doing my best not to be lazy, not to hate people, and not to hate studying. I am a grade 10 student and i believe that i can still manage to change and be a doctor someday. So yeah even though those signs are reflecting me, i will try my best to change it and pursue to be a successful doctor

reason number 5: may iba akong gustong gawin, alam na alam ko iyon. pero ngayon palang medyo kinukumbinsi ko na ang sarili ko na sa medicine talaga ang aabutin ko. hindi naman masama kung iisipin. mahilig akong mag basa at walang problema sa pag-aaral. pero pag dating na sa economics, animals, astronomy.. talagang ang saya ko. yung tipong okay lang na maupo ako sa loob ng kwarto buong araw kapag tungkol dun ang mga binabasa ko.
Pero ito:
kung mag e-environmental science ako, wala daw masyadong trabaho (?)
kung something related naman sa astronomy, masyadong unrealistic para sa probinsyanang tulad ko na wala namang masyadong opportunities sa paligid niya.
kaya minsan naiisip ko na maging practical nalang. natatakot ako na baka hanggang imagination nalang ako. huhu i need help..

Magge-grade 11 palang ako ngayong June at GAS ang kukunin kong strand for three reasons: 1 is that yun palang ang strand na open sa highschool ko (nagdidiskarte pang makasingit ng extension sa campus si principal), 2 is that ayaw ko pang mag-aral sa syodad kung di pa ako college, and 3 ay dahil kailangan ko talagang i-explore ang ibang open oportunities kasi what if talaga di para sakin ang pagiging doktor? Tamad ako, procrastinator ako, pero honestly, my thinking of becoming a doctor is passionate to the point that my only other option is showbiz (lol taas mangarap no?) I don't know kung ilang beses ko nang napanood to but it really motivated me to pursue medicine even though maraming dapat i consider like finances ganyan hays. I'm just an upcoming Grade 12 STEM Student and I want to take Nursing or Medtech.
Maybe 5+ years from noow magbabago pa desisyon ko but I just hope that I'm happy and contented . We'll seee :>
Oh no! Maybe , being a medical Technologist is not for me. I am already 3rd year now. Ngayon ko lang naisip mga bagay na'to. Kaya pala I always have failing grades because of th following reasons.
(1) I'm lazy reading books
(2) I want to earn money more than helping people.
(3) I'm tired on going to school.
(4) I'm not yet ready to do HARDWORK.

I knew right away after watching some of your vids that you are going to be a huge inspiration to me. I want to be a pediatrecian when i grow up because i loooove kids. My biggest dream is to have an organization of my own that help kids of financial support so that they will still have a fair share of treatment even tho they dont have much of the money. Its going to be a very long road but if you are passionate of your dream, time is nothing. I am going to be a grade 10 student (this june). Hi, New subscriber here. buti nalang napanood ko 'to, matagal ko ng pangarap maging doctor, actually nag-start siya nung pinangarap kong maging Neurology, psychology kasi course ko and connected naman yon, then gusto ko naman maging Surgeon noong na-operahan yung lola ko kasi parang nakaka-inspire, then gusto ko din maging cardiologist for obvious reason, pero di dahil about sa earning ng money. nahihirapan ako mag-decide kasi actually, lahat ng tao sa paligid ko hindi naniniwala na magiging doctor ako, pero iniisip ko nalang na papatunayan ko nalang na kaya ko, pangalawa, mahirap din kasi hindi naman kami mayaman, hindi rin ako mahilig mag-aral kasi nakakapag memorize lang ako ng something kapag interesado lang talaga ako, ayoko din na nagiging busy ako or napupuyat sa pag-aaral actually naantok ako kapag may binabasa ako at kahit may exam kami kinabukasan tinutulugan ko lang, pero pangarap ko maging doctor and hopefully magbago lahat yon kapag pumasok na ako sa medschool :(
at yung pinaka-last is yung family ko, sobrang halaga nila sakin, mag-isa (unica ija) lang kasi ako kaya gusto ko ng malaking pamilya, pero paano ako makakapag asawa? at makakaroon ng pamilya kapag nasa medschool nako? mukhang di nga para sakin ang medschool. :( i want the M.D for my last name!

I love your channel doc aura😘 and this is one of my fave. I had failures and I was thinking if Med school could still accept me, I like school before but things change when I get into 2nd yr HS and I'm always regretting coz I didnt take things seriously coz that would be my stepping stone to med. a med students like U who is very admirable keeps me inspiring and not to lose hope coz I really wanna be a doctor, either I get high salary or not I would always choose medicine coz medicine always fascinate me😊
Doc, thanks for inspiring! SHS ako at nung 2 or 3 months before, narealize ko na gustong gusto ko maging Doctor. It was my dream job when I was a little girl because mom bought me a stethoscope to play with.
Nung lumalaki na ko di ko na nagustuhan ang maging Doctor because I didn't look deeper to it. And now, I'm so excited to take BS in Medical Technology. Trabaho muna ng konti kasi ayoko humingi ng pera sa kuya ko at ayokong isang deretsahang aral ako, break muna konti. In fact, nag iipon na ako ng pera sa bangko para yon ang ipapangtustos ko sa Medicine, minsan sumaside line ako sa pag loload sa kapit bahay, atsaka mga baon kong sobra tinitipid ko talaga.
At dahil gusto kong maging Doctor, bumili na ako ng sarili kong stethoscope. hehehehehe

I passed all five so I should pursue? It has always been the thing I wanted to do since I was five and couldn't because I got distracted with life, like my Mom couldn't obviously support my studies financially, I had sisters and brothers that needed education as well, was on the verge of awkward puberty etc. etc.....and now I'm fifty with children that I need to send to school but still can't forget my first love, medicine. I'm not distracted anymore tho, so I'm thinking of going back to uni before I find myself in bed looking back at my life and regretting what I didn't accomplish, dying. malayo pa ako magcollege then I saw this video, I really want to be a doctor. then at every reason, it made me question myself if am I really interested to become a doctor? or was I interested on the benefits of becoming a doctor? then it made me think what was my reason for having a dream to work as a doctor, it was my dream to save lives, to help other people who aren't rich enough to get their health checked in the hospital. So whatever happens in my future, I hope to see myself smiling because I made it. 😂 geez, 14 pa lang ako yet this is my mind winding my dreams already 😂
what if you want to pursue medicine but you’re kinda hesitant bcs you’re not that smart in any field like Science & Math pero willing ka lang mag learn tsaka mag sikap pero agad mo nakakalimutan lahat pagkatapos😔

I am currently in medschool and gusto ko na talaga mag quit as of now, and i happen to see this vid rn and its still my dream to be a doctor pero pagod na talaga ako walang wala yung pagod ko nung pre med compared to what i am experiencing in med school takot lang ako mag quit kase feeling ko once na umalis ako sa med sa kangkungan ako pupulutin i don't know how to start over or kung magiging successful ba ako kase this is the only thing i'm good at ay ang magaral and here in the phils. Kung hindi mataas ang tinapos mo hindi ka din well compensated kaya natatakot ako mag quit coz i know pag nag apply ako wala din, ever since i entered med school i've shed a thousand tears

This really helps me like a lot!!! So I'm a shs student this upcoming pandemic school year pero laban padin! I'll take STEM no matter what but still undecided what type of doctor I'll be getting pero labannn. My mother's dream for me if to become a lawyer or a doctor, we may not have the money but I will do my best to get through this without stressing my family about this kase ako yung panganay then pupuno lang ao sa gastusin. Tho I may not that smart pero I do study hard lalo nat exams or quizes. LABAN TAYO!!! and to others that are still hesitating about their courses, I hope na in the near future you'll be able to find that one job na you'll be excited to wake up every morning kase you're able to get your dream job ^_^

I really want to pursue medicine someday, magSHS palang po ako pero alam ko na di namin afford kung magdo-doctor man ako. Kailangan yung course na kukunin ko sa College is makakatulong sa fam ko kaya naghahanap hanap po ako ng gusto kong course, Nursing sana kaso di kaya ng sahod eh tapos baka di narin ako kayang pag-aralin ng parents ko sa med school. Alam ko pong pwede akong kumuha ng scholarships or sponsors para i-push kaso ang iniisip ko po walang magpapa-aral sa kapatid ko kung magme-med school ako since magco-college na siya nun. Kaya kung yung parents ng iba sa inyo na supportive and afford naman i-push nyo kasi maraming nangangarap pero hindi kaya. 😊
I have personal reasons (health issues) and my family does not support my decision(financial issues) PLUS I recently realized, di kami meant to be ni Medicine, I am reminded of this video regarding sa pagpasok sa school. So sayonara!!! 👐
Doktaura sa totoo lang yung 5 reasons na yan I don't have any habits so, you helped me somehow and made me sure of my decision in taking medicine kasi masipag ako, determined, not lazy, and I care for people. I had an instinct nung una that I'm meant for this next school year magpre med na ako and thank you for your advices dok I will soon be a ob/gynecologist

bago ko mapanood ito, inisip ko baka may isa ditong dahilan na tumugma sa akin, para di ako tumuloy sa pag take ng medicine, pero wala... siguro ung 1lang medyo, hehe ayoko kasi mag aral kapag di ko gusto ung subject aminado ako may time na tamad ako,, pero kapag gusto ko kc ung isang bagay at passion ko un sinisipag talaga ako at sa field talaga un ng medical...Lord tulungan nyo po sana ko makapag desisyon ng maayos...thank u po sa video na ito

Ilang oras po ba ang trabaho ng mga doctor? Sa hospital na po ba sila tumitira? Nakakapg outing paba sila? Nakakasama paba nila pamilya nila? May panahon paba sila sa love life? May time paba sila para sa ibang mga bagay?

i HATE school. i hate studying grammar, solving math problems, etc. but science in general (medicine to be specific) is my deepest passion. im contemplating between business and medicine because most of the ppl in my family are businessmen. i’d go into business for money and hate it, but i want to go to medicine because i genuinely love it, help pls huhu.

my family isn't financially stable, kulang na kulang pangtustos namin sa buhay. sa scholarship lang talaga ako umaasa para makapag-aral sa college and kung papalarin, sa med school. plus panganay ako so nakaka pressure kung nagtetake pa ako ng medicine kasi matagal diba? eh alam naman natin mga ibang magulang dyan gusto may trabaho kagad yung anak after college para may "silbi" hahaha :(
